Chapter seven :Isa has a friend?

     "Hey, can we talk?" Nolan said to Isa. "Sure" she replied. "I just wanna apologize, I'm really sorry, for everything." Nolan added. "It's fine, you don't have to apologize." Isa said. "I think... Nolan said but was interrupted by Isa. "I said it's fine. You being back here doesn't change anything. I was a fool for thinking that you actually liked me." Isa said. "I know you never liked me. Alphonso told me and it's fine, really." She added.

     "What do you mean Alphonso told you?, and you believed him?" Nolan asked. "How dare he speak about my feelings?, do you know how much it hurt?, to lie to you. You have no idea how much my heart ached. All this years, I wanted to make everything right." Nolan said as tears ran down his face.

     "How exactly are you gonna do that?, she doesn't like you anymore?" Owen said. "Hey!" Niall said. "It's true, I think she likes the Japanese guy." Owen added. "Yeah, right. They just met yesterday." Niall said. "Sorry to burst your bubble Owen, but I don't like anyone. I don't like him and I don't like Haru either." Isa said. "You're a bad liar." Owen said. "Your eyes betray you." He added. "You're not even looking at me." Isa said. Owen looked back with a fake smile plastered on his face and he turned to Niall. "There's the look." He said. Isa shrugged and left.

     Nolan's Pov

     I really don't know what to do anymore. I understand that she may not like me anymore. But, I want us to fix things. I want us to be friends again.

     "I don't think that's gonna happen." Niall said. Nolan was surprised. "You were thinking out loud." Niall added. Isa entered with her friend Maeve. "Guys, this is Maeve. Isa said as she introduced her to the boys. "Hello" Maeve said in a high pitched voice. "I thought you said you had no friends." Owen chirped. "Well, things change." Isa replied as she rolled her eyes. Maeve, this is Niall, Owen, and Nolan. "The one that's been giving you sleepless nights even before he got here?" Maeve asked innocently. "Hey!" Isa said. "It was just a question." Maeve replied and Niall laughed. "Come on", Isa said as she took her hand and they went upstairs.

     Isa's Pov

     Maeve and her big mouth. Now, Nolan's gonna think I still like him.

     "How could you say that?" I asked Maeve angrily. "Say what?" Maeve replied. "Do you want him to think I still like him?" Isa said. "Well, you still like him, don't you?" Maeve replied. "He doesn't have to know that." Isa said. "Look, I don't know what the big deal is. He likes you, you like him , just get back together with him." Maeve said. "No, no , no,no. That's never gonna happen" Isa replied. "You don't want it to happen?" Maeve asked. "I don't know." Isa replied. "I really don't know what to do . I don't want to get hurt again. I was miserable for years. I don't think I wanna date anyone right now." "Well, if you're that scared, I think it'd be better to stay away." Maeve said. "You're right." Isa replied. "So, what should we do." She added. "Well, I want you to tell me about the guy with the blonde hair." Maeve said. "Niall?" Isa asked. "Yeah" Maeve said. "Do you like him?" Isa asked playfully. " Yeah" Maeve replied. "He's off limits." Isa said. " What?" Maeve asked. "What do you mean he's off limits." She added. "Well, Isa said, as you can see." She said with more emphasis on the word 'see'. " He's off limits. Plus, I don't think he's into girls." She added. "What about Owen?" Maeve asked. Isa laughed and said " You can't handle it" Maeve wondered why she said that about Owen. " Trust me, you can't handle it." Isa added.
