ZOE looked at Vaughn Wilson's hand while her poor brain worked hard.

To be honest, a lot of things were still unclear to her.

All she knew was Vaughn Wilson was supposed to be a bad guy. But all of a sudden, he was saying that their goals aligned, so they must work together to fight Empress Veronica.

[But just because we have the same goal doesn't mean he's a good guy?]

Argh.

"I have one condition," Zoe said firmly, then she looked at Vaughn Wilson sharply. "I want my memories as Zoanne Rochester back."

Vaughn Wilson raised an eyebrow at her. "Why are you telling me that?"

"Kalum Alegre told me that he was the one who sealed my memories," she said. "Since you are his crony, I believe you know how to return my memories as Zoanne Rochester. And…"

"And what?"
