The twin's father..
After Qingcheng left the assistant took the children along with him to their dad's office while carrying the note he received from Qingcheng. When he reached the office he knocked at the door and waited only to hear a magnetic voice from inside that said "Come in ".
When the door opened you could see two men sitting inside having some discussion one of the men was wearing a maroon suit which although was quite flashy perfectly lined the man's wild temperament and made him look exceptionally handsome on the other hand was a man wearing an ash grey suit which perfectly lined his body , he looked like someone who had been in power for a long time , his features were as if crafted by the gods themselves , every inch of him was the epitome of perfection but this perfect face was looking very cold now and also looked dissatisfied at being interrupted.
Wiping off his cold sweat the assistant addresses the man in the grey suit and says " Boss sorry to disturb you but just now a lady called at the reception saying that she was with the little master and miss so I went downstairs to get them and brought them upstairs ". Hearing this the man quickly looks down to see two little dolls beside his assistant and immediately gets up and Carries them in his arms his original cold expression now replaced by a rare gentleness , he asked softly to the two of them " What happened did Tian'er and Xue'er miss daddy so came to meet me at the office?".
On hearing their dad's question the two denied and the boy said " no dad we went to the mall with the nanny but she left us there and suddenly a bad man wanted to kidnap Xue'er but luckily aunt Qingcheng saved her and then she brought us out to eat and dropped us over to daddy's office" , then the girl also said while nodding her head " yes yes daddy Xue'er was so scared but she met fairy sister so Xue'er is quite happy and fairy sister also bought the big teddy that Xue'er wanted , Xue'er loves fairy sister the most " .
After listening to what the children said there was not much change to Mu Jingyun's expression but you could see a cold light flashed past his eyes. Then he brought the kids to the sofa and made them sit down and started checking if they were hurt anywhere. After confirming that the kids were unharmed only then did he turn to his assistant looking at him with questioning eyes, seeing that his boss finally paid attention to him he quickly handed over the note that he got from Qingcheng and said " boss the lady who dropped the kids off wrote a note explaining what happened and asked me to give it to you and you would understand ".
Reading the note Mu Jingyun finally understood the ins and outs of what had happened and he couldn't help but feel frightened at the thought of something happening to his kids then he looked at the assistant and ordered "You immediately leave and investigate about the nanny and whatever happened in the mall check their CCTV cameras too, I want results immediately get that", " ye.. yes boss I will make it fast" saying this the assistant turned and fled as fast as he could.
The man in the maroon suit finally moved to the two kids and while rubbing their heads he asked " Who is this fairy sister that Xue'er keeps talking about and why do you call her fairy sister?", hearing this Xue'er said "uncle Wuchen fairy sister is the one that saved Xue'er and she looks like a fairy so I call her like that and there is also brother feng'er, Xue'er will call him and we will play together, Xue'er wants to be friends with him". "Who is this feng'er brother that you speak of?", " he's aunt Qingcheng's son and he was the one to call the police and we had dinner together " said Tian'er.
" Lin Wuchen you go and handle all the other work and also help assistant Zhu to investigate and I'll be leaving with the kids" saying this without waiting for Wuchen to react Mu Jingyun quickly left the office carrying the kids in each of his arms heading downstairs . As soon as he appeared with the kids he attracted a lot of attention but ignoring all this he went straight to the car and asked the driver to head back home.
After he left the female employees in the office couldn't help but murmur " omg omg the boss looks so hot " .." are they the boss's kids so cute just like dolls" , then one of the employees went and poked the receptionist and asked " hey! hey! I just saw the kids with a beautiful lady is that the boss's wife ?", hearing this the receptionist replied " I am not sure but she did come to drop the kids here but I warn you better not gossip too much, if it gets to the boss's ears then you can say goodbye to your job, boss hates rumours ", listening to this the employee said " no no I was just curious nothing else I'll be leaving now".
A little while later Lin Wuchen came downstairs and saw all the employees gossiping around and said "all of you go back to work stop dilly dallying around" hearing this all the employees said in unison " yes Vice president we will leave immediately ". After seeing them scatter he went to the security and asked for the security camera footage as he was quite curious about this woman who saved his friend's kids.
In the security room he sat down and looked at the monitor then he saw a woman entering the scene with three kids when he saw the women turn to talk to the receptionist he finally saw her face , looking at that face he felt that his heart that had been stagnant for the past 28 years finally started beating for some one else. He knew at once that he might have fallen in love with the women on the screen but was also sceptical about what to do about it as the woman seemed to have a son of her own but then he quickly decided that he would follow his own heart and chase the lady irrespective of success or failure at least he would have tried. After that he left to investigate about the incident that happened with the kids in the mall.
