5 Qi and Body Fusion

The Master were ready to explain the problem that they had with taking Sam to any sort of land.

"Young Master, we are able to take you to land but... currently we are heading somewhere else, at bare minimum for us to go there and comeback is 3 months," they were not able to turn around or anything else as this location was a must or else Sword sect would be destroyed in the next generations.

Hearing their problem Sam nonchalantly answered, "I can just tag along with you guys until you guys can take me to land".

The masters were against this idea as the location they were going to was only known to a few a sects of Dia Empire. This was the place where they nurtured their talents into monsters, none of them were okay with bringing an outsider but that was until they remembered. Somebody as strong as Sam would not be greedy over a treasure that could only nurture people who could only cultivate to the Master stage, which made them more open to allowing him but then the 1st master, the person who Sam had injured sent a telepathic message, 'wait, we should rather be happy for him to be tagging along with us'.

The second master replied, 'what do you mean?' The brothers were confused when they heard their older brother saying they should be happy to allow him to stay.

'With this person's strength we can cross the sea without facing the beasts of the sea and if let him stay, we can ask for his help, we can arrive to the location without any loss to our sect members and have a major advantage over the other sects and forces'

Suddenly being hit with enlightenment their moods lightened up and the 1st master replied, "that is fine with us Young Master, we can take you to land after we are done with our business, we hope you enjoy your stay here until then"

"I know it's too much to ask from some random person, but allowing me to stay here and take me to land will definitely will be repaid once I get my hands on some stuff." Sam felt embarrassed from asking something from a stranger and was definitely going to repay them. He held no ill emotions towards these people for what happened previously, he knew in the end he was at fault.

1st Master, "Young Master you don't have to do such thing... but we would be grateful if you could protect this ship as long as you are on board."

Sam had no problem with this, and was more than happy to at least do this much since he was going to be a lich while he was on board, plus if this ship was destroyed he wasn't about to swim in the ocean for months.

Sam, "That is not a problem with me"

1st Master, "Thank You"

Now since there was nothing else to talk about, the Masters got up one by one and 1st Master said, "since we have spoken about the problem, then I believe it's time for us to take you to your residence Young Master, please follow me."

Sam was brought to a very luxurious room, it had everything one need a huge bed, a huge sitting area, and many more stuff, but what caught Sam's attention was the balcony. Sam had walked up for a while to get here, so he expected for the view to be good, so he decided to check once the Masters leave the room.

While the master were leaving, 1st master said, "Young Master, if you need anything just press that black button over there on the table, and the servants will bring you what you asked for."

After saying the vital information, the Masters left the room to let Sam be.

As soon as they left Sam relaxed a bit, then went towards the balcony, he was expecting to see a gorgeous view but what he saw was just the normal living area that he had seen as he was climbing up. He forgot that there was some kind of talisman on this area.

After feeling the disappointment hit him, Sam went back and dropped on the soft mattress.

Sam was about to go crazy from boredom, he was expecting something interesting to happen to him once he was in this world but all he had been doing was nothing.

Sam jumped out of the bed to look around the room to find something interest and that was when the book shelf caught his attention.

He slowly walked towards the bookshelf and tried to pick up a book and read for the first time for the past few years.

Sam went through many of them but it seemed like all of them were techniques, which was of no use to him as he could not use them without destroying this whole ship. The only thing that caught him was a book called, "Qi and Body Fusion".

Sam opened the book and the first thing he read was, 'This is not a Cultivation method do not train in this if you wanna break through stages, this is a technique that will drop your cultivation rate severely, in exchange for a body beyond the realm of cultivation.'

Sam was taken back by the last words, he was wondering what could such technique be, to be able to ascend the realms of cultivation, with glimmers in his eyes Sam opened the actual technique section.

After reading through the book Sam was left speechless, unlike the previous books he had flipped through, this one was almost impossible on stage one.

The technique was trying relocate a person's dantain from the abdominal area to the lungs. And then change the whole structure of the human alveoli to be able exchange CO2 with O2 and the Qi from one's dantain and use the blood to supply every corner of the cultivator's body with Qi and slowly strengthen it. This seemed like a useless technique at first but the more Sam read over it, the better it got.
