1 1st Chapter

If you could go back in time and change one thing from your past what would it be?

I'd stop myself from ever being born... This may sound selfish and self-centred but if you were in my shoes you would understand why.

My mother is in prison for something she didn't do and after father mysteriously disappeared two years ago she slowly started to lose it. In her current state she can't even afford to pay for us. She probably can't even remember who we are. My sister, Layla grew pregnant at aged seventeen and her boyfriend walked out in her. Now to make money she deals drugs.

i thought of when we were all a family and when Father hadn't left yet. We were sitting round the dining table and Mother had made one of her terrible lasagnes. He was slowly moving the food round and round his plate. "So how is it?" Mother questioned. He popped a spoonful into his mouth and grimaced, "it's delightful!" She new he was teasing her and slapped father across the cheek. Everyone went silent for a moment then after a while we all burst out laughing and Mother reached out and gave him a slobbery, tomato-y kiss. "GRROOSS!" He chuckled.

And we all grinned.

Everything changed since then.

I like to think Father was the one that brought as all together. But of course thinking won't change anything. This story will be about embarking on the adventure of a lifetime with many secrets unveiled, new found friendships sought out and a romance blossoming along the way.
