While I'm going to turn on television, my sister suddenly barge into my room.

Since my room has never been lock in the first place, She can enter it at any moment and I don't even have one bit of idea to lock it.

Well, What could possibly go wrong from having my sister coming in?

Hey, There's no way my cute little sister(in this life) would do something that bad.

She just came in my room, sit in my lap, rubbed her butt cheeks to my pants, and just panting from overexcited.

Well, everyone could panting like that if they're super tired.

I ignored my sister whom resting in my lap and pay attention to the television.

In the tv, It's show to view of the town that covered in burned mark and slash.

This world is plagued by Gate. 20 years ago, Humanity exhausted almost all the resources on Earth, and they've no where to look for new resources.

So, They're making one by all the available resources there is.

The results is success. By producing Gate on Earth surface, They can drain energy from another dimension.

This energy is called Mana, or in another name Qi, Prana, and Chakra.

This energy is super potent, but still very gentle.

This is to say, you can absorb this energy in your body and do something supernatural easily.

But still it's potent enough to create disaster.

And that's why the side effect of Gate came from.

Monsters or Demons appeared from the Gate like every classic sci-fi or fantasy.

Gate after opening it once, will began to appear again and again. The energy it produces is of course enormous. But it isn't like only us humans can use it. Monsters and Demons can use it too.

And a job like Hunter are surfacing the Earth. By hunting monster and demons, bringing back important and crucial energy from Gate, and/or closing Gate. They can produce large income.

So all of this are the theme of this world. Gate, Humans, Monsters, Demons, Mana, Hunter.
