6 Chapter 6- Childhood friend?

I woke up to the light coming through the bedroom window. Lying on her side, sleeping like an angel, was Marceline. As my maid, Marceline can attend the dormitory for the purpose of serving me. Several other nobles also have servants who accompany them through the academy, so we can say that it is something normal in the imperial academy.

I got up, slowly so as not to wake Marceline, and went to the bathroom to wash. After a good shower, I changed into my uniform. However, Luke was a completely different person from the rumors, he had a confident look and proved to be powerful during the duel.

Luke has demonstrated a powerful sword technique, which makes most noble family techniques look like child's swordsmanship. In a single day, the Blady family's trash, which was always ignored by everyone, began to receive attention from all the students of the main academy and, especially, the nobles of this empire.

After the Duel, I was unable to contact him. So I decided to wait until the next day, so I could talk to him again, and luckily, I didn't have to make an effort to do that. Thanks to the room map created by the academy, Luke was placed by my side and this facilitated my communication.

"Good morning. It's been a long time."

Luke responded to my greeting in a casual, relaxed way, reminiscent of childhood.

Suddenly, I feel a pain in the side of my stomach. When I look, I see Sophia, who was pinching me and at the same time smiling at me. Despite the smile on her face, her gaze was cold, showing that she was unhappy about something.

"Good morning Luke." she said smiling.

"Oh, good morning."

Sophia leaned her body a little towards me and whispered.

"Giving attention first to a woman who is not your fiancée? What behavior is this? We haven't even got married, and you already think about cheating on me?"

I betray you? How ridiculous, in my first life it was you who betrayed me with the hero Arthur. Also, are you angry that I didn't pay attention to you and talk to another woman? "Luke, won't you?" asked Mary.

"I'll be right now. There's something I want to talk to Sophia in private."

"OK."

After everyone left the room.

"Your attitude has changed a little towards me. But, you know, I always gave my all to please you, but you always ignored me. Like you said, that's why I wanted to break off the engagement."

I lied, I can't say I know what's going to happen in the future.

"It hurt a lot to be ignored and mistreated by a person I love, so I decided to seal that feeling away."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, my love for you was sealed under lock and key, and I don't consider you my fiancée."

"What?"

"You heard. If you want our marriage to happen, for your family's sake or yours, you're going to have to open the locks that hold my love for you."

I got up and left the room, leaving Sophia, who was silent. The breakup of the engagement will happen, nobody knows, but in the future I will be part of the empress's force. I'm leaving the Blady family and the engagement will probably be annulled or something.

I remember when I got the news that I was getting engaged to someone in the Baldy family, I was excited, but that excitement was short-lived. Fortunately, I was born with talent and with a little effort I grew strong, and I wanted someone like me to be my fiancé.

I thought he would always be a dead weight, but my world fell apart after the entrance ceremony.

I had to throw away my pride and interest in Arthur for the sake of my family.

I thought I had it when he put his hand on my thigh and started treating me like his bride. However, in the end, it was all an illusion and, at the moment, I find myself in a difficult situation.
