Strategy Brainstorming

March 20, 2023, 10:00 AM - Vertis North, Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines - Orean Place CS 103 - Inklusive Creatives and Advertising's Temporary Office

After everyone had finished enjoying the refreshments and had started to relax in the new environment, Daniel began to address the serious part of the meeting. He started by orienting everyone on his vision and goals for the company. He explained how he wants to establish a strong online presence and be recognized as a trendsetter in the industry.

Daniel instructed Alvin to assign everyone with a company laptop that was already prepared inside the office. Each one was to be assigned a MacBook that Daniel had ordered beforehand.

After ensuring that everyone had been assigned a laptop to take notes in and work with, Daniel proceeded to unveil the first task for the company's first week: creating a strong social media presence. This meant creating a website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.

Nhicole will be the one assigned to handle this in the meantime as they were still a start-up. However, Daniel assured her that later on, social media managers would be hired and placed under her.

The accounts team, Jewel and Lily, was given the task of supervising the project and making sure of its cohesiveness.

The creatives team was tasked with making concepts of posts that were trendy and creative, but still maintaining a sophisticated vibe.

Daniel wanted the content to be fun for the team to create, and he suggested some ideas such as a biking-to-work video for Jerome, the video editor who enjoys biking, and something anime or game-related for Jhunel.

The production team was then assigned to execute these ideas and edit them for posting. The materials would then be endorsed back to Nhicole for posting.

Any needed expenses could be requested from Paolo, but Daniel noted that as long as it's not too excessive, there would be no need for him to approve it. Food, drinks, and transportation needed to make the project work were included.

After the instructions, the team fell into a contemplative silence, each member lost in thought, thinking of ways to create the best social media presence for the company. It was Nhicole who finally broke the silence.

"I think we should start with a website. It's the first thing people will see when they search for us online," she said, looking around at her team.

"I agree," Aeryl chimed in. "Let's just make it simple, clean, and professional, with all the necessary information about our company."

Jerome, the video editor, nodded. "We can also create a video for the homepage, something that showcases our team and what we stand for."

Jhunel, the creative artist, spoke up. "We can make our social media accounts unique and interesting, maybe add some animation or graphics that people will remember."

Daniel pleased with his team's ideas, nodded in agreement. "Great suggestions, everyone. Let's aim for a cohesive look and feel across all our social media channels. And let's not forget to make it fun and engaging for our audience. Let's keep the website simple, but go wild with the other socials, especially with Facebook and TikTok."

The team continued brainstorming ideas for the social media content.

Jhunel suggested creating animated shorts showcasing their work, while Jerome proposed doing a video series on the daily life at the agency. Meanwhile, Paolo recommended highlighting their creative process, and Nhicole came up with the idea of creating a TikTok challenge to showcase their skills.

Daniel listened intently to their ideas and added, "Let's also create posts that feature our team members to help humanize the brand and connect with our audience. And a podcast with industry experts sounds like a great idea too."

Nhicole excitedly chimed in, "What if we also create a blog where we can share our thoughts and opinions on industry trends and news? It'll help establish us as thought leaders in our field."

Daniel smiled, impressed with his team's creativity. "These are all fantastic ideas. Let's get to work on creating a content calendar and start working on our first few posts. Remember, we want to make sure our content is visually appealing and engaging for our audience."

The team nodded in agreement and started discussing potential themes for their social media posts. They were excited to start executing their ideas and creating a strong online presence for their agency.

"Alright, let's get to work," Daniel said, smiling at his team, I want to see proposals for the calendar within the week.

After wrapping up the discussion on the social media strategy, Daniel shifted his focus to the much-awaited banquet dinner scheduled for later that night. He emphasized that this was a golden opportunity for networking and connecting with potential clients.

"Let's make the most of tonight. I want everyone to mingle and connect with as many people as possible. And don't forget to mention the 30% discount for the first contract they sign with us," Daniel instructed with a smile.

In preparation for the event, Daniel assigned JP, the head production manager, to create a short program for the evening, "JP, I need you to put together a simple program for the banquet. We'll also have a raffle, so be sure to include that in the program."

JP nodded and said, "Sure thing, boss. I'll come up with something simple."

As the meeting drew to a close, Daniel reiterated his main point. "Above all, I want everyone to enjoy themselves tonight. This is a celebration of our agency's opening, so let's make it a night to remember."

As the meeting drew to a close, the team members dispersed to tackle their respective tasks with renewed enthusiasm. Excitement for the future of the company was palpable among the group, and they felt invigorated by the positive energy of the meeting. The team found Daniel to be an approachable and encouraging boss, someone they were eager to work alongside and follow. With a sense of purpose and a clear direction, they were ready to take on the challenges and opportunities ahead.
