The ex-queen of Kreronada was dragged out in public and stoned. She was well-liked by her subjects and was given the kingdom when she was fourteen, after the king died of illness, and she ruled the kingdom of Kreronada with peace and tranquillity. She was then approached by the fallen prince, who had been imprisoned as a commoner after losing the kingdom, and she felt sorry for him. She trained him as a knight, fell in love with him, and married the prince after two years. But her life was turned upside down when the prince brought in a girl he had saved during his wars. As the court saw her. Once someone saw the figure of the Saint of Light, they wouldn't think of anything but the lady forgetting that the queen was there.

He comes down and slaps to her face
"You say Cosette didn't do anything, then how do explain her wounds"
"Where's the evidence?" she screamed at him
"Bring out Cosette's maid" the prince ordered as the maid was bought to the halls and the queen's servants were put in chains
"Explain them her crimes" the prince questions
"Your Majesty, yes. Since the lady entered, the queen had been in a fit of deep jealousy for Cosette, tormenting and harassing her mercilessly. She once directed her maids to destroy all of the dresses brought by the prince. She even ordered the soldiers to prevent her from speaking to the prince, and yesterday, the queen ordered some thugs to kidnap and transport her to a remote location in order to assassinate her; fortunately, you were present to save her."
"Nonsense, I never did that," Candence exclaimed, but before she could finish, the prince slapped her so hard that she fainted.
"Her wicked deeds are too numerous to quote. Therefore, the queen has committed treason for attacking the newly wedded queen of this kingdom. Therefore, I announce her death by execution"
This was all his plan of taking over the kingdom after her father invaded his kingdom and wanted revenge and Cosette was actuMaggie his real fiancé before losing the kingdom. It was all his plan to take over the kingdom and poor Candence believed in love for the traitor.
After three months, when the prince, now King Estephan took over the kingdom. During the death trial, Candence saw the cruel king with the newly crowned queen and sat on the throne as one by one all her maids and servants including the nobles who revolted against him and was executed or hanged by the executioner. As it was her turn, she was bought to her knees in front of the traitor. Her dress dressed in rags and everywhere scars. The King got up and announced.
"You've attempted to assassinate the duchess, Cosette. Prior to that, you were bullying her. Someone like you doesn't deserve mercy."
She was well aware of the futility of arguing. Even if she was convicted on such a ridiculous claim, no one would help her.
Candence was also restrained by a shackle and a collar. She was dragged up to the execution site by a rope.
As the new queen Cosette rose, everyone extended their hands to Cosette, who had fallen from another world. After Candence's father invaded, Cosette became an adopted daughter of the duchess family. Her social appearance was akin to that of a comet. Following that, Cosette made a slew of high-ranking aristocrats fall head over heels for her.
Candence would have to admit that she indeed harbored a grudge against that duchess who had finMaggie managed to win even the fallen Prince's hear. But, to all the Gods above her, Candence swore she had never bullied the holy woman, nor even attempted to assassinate her.
"Prepare the execution!" King Estephan declared out loud.
Candence was led to the decapitation table by the soldier, who grabbed her by the shoulder. As she was being dragged, she realized the goddess had made a mistake; the goddess had previously stated that she would enjoy her life because of her good deeds. She adored Estephen and restored him to royalty, and this is how he repays her. Her heart was shattered. But it is all for naught! Maggie had been duped by someone from the enemy kingdom. The kingdom of the north, ruled by the Gatewills family, is no longer! And Winterwoods has resurrected from the dead.
"This must be a test from God. I must keep my lips pursed and my gaze forward." She told herself to be strong, that she must not lose sight of herself until the moment she died because she is the goddess's chosen one and she is reborn, she is fine with being an animal or a commoner and knows that the goddess of reincarnation is always with her and promised her a good life so she wishes to be reborn without a heart.
She could see Estephen and the scary face he was making as she took one last look at her people who had begun to cry. That's not how someone would look at their ex-wife, but at the despicable sight of filth.
The moment Cosette distorted her mouth in repugnance, a sharp blade struck Candence's neck. The last thing Candence saw was of the traitor gently comforting Cosette, who covered her face with both hands as she burst into tears.
As her body drowned in blood as her head fell into the basket, she saw the sky change as thunder struck the guillotine, killing the people who were present when she was put in the guillotine and striking the maid who told the lie in front of Cosette, who screamed. The sun shone and glowed the reincarnated's head as the goddess understood her wise words. She smiled as her blood flowed and her vision blurred as she died. The world went completely black, and she thought that was the end of her, but when she opened her eyes, the goddess's voice said, "Welcome to your new life, you have passed my test and will be rewarded with a life of your choosing."
As she woke up, she found herself in the hospital and as she looked in the mirror, she looked herself as a young girl with silk like hair and covered with bruises. She then knew, the goddess has given her a new life and a new chance to repay her mistakes.
