Break up

For some, morning is a sign of hope and positivity. Something to look up to. Like the next page in the book you have been engulfed so much. The exciting feeling that no one can put an exact word.

But there is always a disparity of everything. The hindrance of our "perfect" plan. It can either break us or make us into something we never foresee.

The things that both shared was it changes us. A change of thinking or a change of plan.

The sun just comes out and…

It was 5:30 am, Lucy stops typing as she feels that her nape started to soar. She never tasted sleep since 9 o'clock last night, trying to convince and make herself wrote something that can make her heart feel less burden about what she saw.

With her eyeglasses on, she can clearly recognize the things afar from her. She is a near sighted, no body curve, and tanned lady. She is 23-year-old, and she just had her first boyfriend.

Had.

She continues typing, trying to finish her first line of moving on.

"The sun just comes out and I never got to sleep. It's the first day of me, not having connection with Andrew"

Then, suddenly, teardrops that seems unending started to fall.

Ting! Ting! Ting!

It was 5:30 am, and Andrew just woke up. He carefully searched the alarm clock through his left hand while his face still covered by his blanket.

Suddenly, in the middle of contemplation of whether to really wake up or continue to sleep his phone rings which made him unwrap himself from his blanket. He pulls himself and sit with eyes still close for about ten minutes and finally walk to the table which is little far from his bed.

He opened his phone and saw just a tweeter notification. He slides his finger to his phone's screen, a habit regardless whether it was an important one or not. His finger automatically slides.

Making a face, Andrew then puts back his phone and go to the bathroom.

Hours later.

Lucy fell asleep crying, and a bunched of DM's from her friends and followers made her phone buzz and made noise.

"What is this siszt?"

"Explain please"

"Hey! Are you alright?"

"WHAAAAAAAT!"

"Did you just broke up?"

"Did you also saw it?"

This tweet gained no heart reaction just a bunch of comments and DMs.

"Hey, did you know that Lucy and Mr. Andrew just broke up" a woman whispers to the person in her side.

"Yeah, I just saw her tweet" another woman with short hair wave her phone.

"Hmmm… what could be the reason?"

"Third party! Hehehe surely!"

"Third party? No, I don't believe that" another one added with her index finger made the "no, no, no" gesture said in disbelief. "I just saw them having dinner last Sunday at Namsaram in Gaisano Mall, and they seem, you know, really in love with each other."

"They even wave their hands and smiled to us."

"Love?! I don't know." The woman who whisper said.

The chitchats stop as the guy approached them.

"So, what's making my team busy?" the guy said in a sweet voice.

"Uhmmm���Good Morning Sir Adam! Just talking… about a viral video on YouTube Sir!" the girl nervously replied with her eyes looking on each side.

"Oh! And what could that be?" Adam excitingly replied with a little clapping.

"You know Sir Adam …. Uhmmm… it is about a guy's cheating… the usual Rulfo contents…" the girl laughed nervously as she reasoned.

"How could you discuss same topic over and over again" Adam said in a disappointedly.

"Ugh. Girls" he added with his hand slightly taps his forehead.

"Was that the job the company payed you for? Tsk,tsk,tsk." "Now stop that and go back to work." Adam added with a disappointment but managed to look the sweet.

"Yes sir" as the two ladies agreed and go on their respective places.

"No, Not again Andrew" Adam said to his mind while turning his back from the two ladies.

Stocked by the traffic Andrew, nervously taps the steering wheel. This is the day of his presentation which will be attended by his father. He looks on his right side and made a glimpse look on his bag where his laptop was hidden and in it was the presentation he made that he hopes to be approved by the board members.

Andrew also remembers his big fight with Lucy yesterday and they never talked nor chat since. With a smirk marked on his mouth, he then think of some sweet gestures to make up with Lucy. As the traffic lights hit on green, he made his way with a moderate speed to the flower shop and bought Lucy's favorite white rose. He planned to say his apologies and have dinner with her later after work.

"This should work right, Andrew? Andrew talks to himself as he goes out in the flower shop. He slightly smelled the white rose on the way to his car.

"All you have to do is to be honest. To tell the truth and nothing but the truth only." He added as if things should not gone out of plan.

Andrew then made his on the way to office.

He parked his car and immediately take the elevator, then, press it going to seventh floor. With excitement, he holds the flower in his right hand and hide it on his back.

He first checks if there was a sign of Lucy's presence, and when everything was clear, he then walks as fast as he can be trying to act normal to Lucy's desk. Andrew puts the flowers and write a short note.

"Dinner at 6. C u ga"

And all the people on the floor stop and put their attention on Andrew.

When Andrew notice their attention, and heard whispers, he then said "Good morning everyone, now, go back to work".

"What is the fuzz?" he whispers to his self with a puzzled face.
