Locked-in

what will you do when you are locked in a small cupboard, through which you could only breath. but imagine you are also thrown into a lake with you in it.

getting out is your first impulse and you work on it with it being one and only action, you put all of your strength into it.

because your life depends on it.

but what if you couldn't break out of it?

st Andrews hospital

it was nearly morning, you could see the shades of red on horizon a light before sunrise.

on the terrace grivaldo with a cigarette in his hand, remembering all the good memories with his girlfriend, Jenny.

and every memory would always come to end in their argument and her unconscious face.

he kicked a box with all his might in frustration and anger.

"why always me? "

grivaldos parents died in a car crash when he was a kid.

he was raised by his grandparents.

he always thought his parents died because of him.

and while thinking he walked towards the edge of 8 storied hospital terrace,

for some reason jumping off of it didn't seemed like a bad idea.

suddenly someone opened the door.

"hey don't do it, not yet, not today" said yumi with cautious tone.

"I know, so what happened to jenny, will she be alright" grivaldo asked with concern.

"well that there, is complicated " said yumi

"what?! what do u mean? " asked grivaldo with a bit of confusion

"why don't you follow me, you will know when you see her" replied yumi.

"ok let's go" with that they both moved down stairs.

MRI room

Jenifer was in the MRI machine.

she had the white patients robe on.

her wounds were cleaned and bandaged.

monitor showed like her brain is active.

yumi tried to call her name in the microphone but Jenny's brain didn't respond for the first two times.

but in the third time grivaldo called her name and parts of her brain lit up.

like she could here him.

and with it

as a miracle she opened her eyes.
