A dangerous encounter

I forced my body to fight again, I could not stand so much torture towards her, seeing her eyes almost like the bottom of the sea, I made her react saying that I would be her King. As soon as I said that I saw a light in her eyes, I could not deny that when I said it my heart was pounding and I felt anger for being weak, I knew she was a Queen like the chess board, but this King would not be useless and I would not know what to do.
