I Was Transmigrated As An Extraordinary Extra

Adelaine Hammond transmigrated inside her own unfinished novel. New identity, new world, new everything. She became Remillia Lockhart, a character she didn't know of. In simple terms, an extra. She became an extra in her own novel. She became a Hero, fighting monsters, making enemies, and also why is she having love interests?? However the novel she once wrote of is becoming different and more strange. The Monsters are more stronger, new enemies, series of events that she did not even write, and how come she's getting stronger than the original MC's? She must find a way to survive and get out of this damned novel.

Chapter 03

I spent the last week doing nothing and contemplating whether I should accept my new self as Remillia Lockhart and forget my real identity. It seemed that I would live in this world for a very long time. Not permanent but temporarily. Being a "Hero" was the best job everyone could apply for in the novel.

'I should just become the richest man in the world instead of saving other people's life.'

I need to hold on for as long as I can until I find a way to escape this novel.

Two days ago was the graduation ceremony of the non-combatant class cadets of 2026. They graduated earlier than the combatant class, although they couldn't attach themselves to the title of heroes. While the combatant class needs to spend and stay their remaining five years at a different place which is called 'Glacial Sphere', an academy for heroes before they graduate.

Sadly, this Remillia is a cadet of combatant class. The officer said that I would be expelled permanently and that no other academy would accept me so I was forced to attend this academy and to graduate.

The next morning, Monday came.

Ta~ ta-ta-ra-ta-ta-ta-ta ta~ (Just imagine this is Reveille)

"Aisssh!"

Remillia groaned as the blaring sound of her smartphone alarm pierced through the early morning silence, shattering her peaceful sleep. With heavy eyelids and a groggy mind, she fumbled for the snooze button, desperately clinging to her sleep.

For Remillia, waking up early has always been a struggle. No matter how many alarms she set or promises she made to herself the night before, her body seemed to rebel against the idea of waking up so early.

As she lay in bed once more, wrapped in the warmth of her blankets, Remillia battled against the relentless pull of her body clock. It whispered sweet nothings about staying just a few minutes longer, promising that the world would never mind her.

But today was different. Today, Remillia needed to go to the Glacial Sphere, which she couldn't afford to miss. With a resigned sigh, she forced herself to sit up, rubbing the sleep from her eyes as she unwillingly prepared for the day ahead.

She looked at her phone. [8:01 AM]

"How frustrating." She yawned as she went into the bathroom.

As I was standing in front of the mirror, I stared at my reflection. I only observed that Remillia sure is beautiful. Her features were really striking. High cheekbones framed a flawless porcelain complexion, accentuated by lips that curved into a subtle, enigmatic smile. Her eyes have a piercing gaze as cold and sharp as ice, coupled with long lashes, and her hair is as dark as midnight.

'Why am I so pretty when I'm just an extra. Hayss.. Such a waste of beauty.'

She finally took a bath and changed into Glacial Sphere's uniform, which was distributed to the cadets when we were at the entrance ceremony. We were told to pack our baggage since we would be staying in our dorms. So I packed the things that I needed.

The uniform consists of a jacket that is a rich shade of midnight blue and is adorned with golden braiding and ornate insignia. Under, the jacket, a crisp white shirt peeked out. The trousers were tailored to fit comfortably, allowing for ease of movement. A belt cinched at the waist, adorned with a gleaming buckle bearing the emblem of the academy. It also comes with polished black knee-high boots.

For sure, if I go out wearing this uniform, I will attract a lot of people, and I know that their faces will be painted green of envy. I know that they're jealous of me but I didn't even want this.

As I opened the door, I turned to look back and gaze at the now empty apartment room. I smiled as I was happy and thankful enough to have a comfort place despite the fact that I'm in an unfamiliar world.

I finally gained my courage and took a step outside into the big unknown.
