Alexs's point of view.
—Ah, what a strange day it has been, I don't know if it is a dream or not, but I have offered to help Lilith in her plan to restore her kingdom, diplomatic relations with the other kingdoms and how the hell am I going to do that?.
—And there is still the issue of Hanako if what happened was the work of the magic of the humans of this world or whatever they call them then that means that it makes us enemies and if she is in danger I don't know what I can do to protect her I will have to find a way to go see her without Lilith or their king suspecting then I will know who is right although for that I need to become stronger so I must discover abilities I speak Lilith, anyway it will be better to sleep and tomorrow I will know more about why I am here Alex woke up slowly in the guest bed that Lilith and Slyther had prepared for him in Shadowfall Castle.
As he rubbed his eyes, his mind went over everything that had happened since he crossed through the portal into this unknown world. The meeting with Lilith, the story of Shadowfall, the Great Chaos War... It all seemed like something out of an epic novel, but it was the reality he now had to deal with. He found himself lost in thought about how he could help Lilith restore prosperity to her kingdom when faced with the reality that he didn't know where Hanako and her friends were.
While he wasn't too worried about Frank's group, he did feel a slight uneasiness about Max and Akira. However, it was Hanako who worried him the most. Were they in this world too? Had they been summoned like him? He decided there were no immediate answers to those questions and allowed himself to relax a little more in bed.
Soon, the accumulated tiredness and weight of uncertainty brought him back to the world of dreams. In his dream, Alex found himself as a small child again, standing in front of his mother's grave. It was a sunny day, and his father walked over, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.
Father: "We have to be strong for her, okay, Alex?" Alex nodded, feeling a mix of sadness and determination in his heart.
The dream took another time jump, taking him to the moment when his father introduced him to his new stepmother and older stepsister, Hanako. Both women were Japanese; Hanako's mother seemed happy to finally meet Alex, but Hanako, being a teenager in the midst of puberty, didn't seem thrilled about the idea of the new family.
The dream then flashed forward to when Alexs was 10 and Hanako was 15.
Their parents went on a trip for their anniversary, leaving them alone.
Over time, both step-siblings began to get along better, and Hanako took on the role of taking care of Alex in their parents' absence.
Another time jump took him to a week later, where he was at a wake alongside Hanako. Both were receiving condolences for the death of their parents in a tragic plane crash during their anniversary trip.
Hanako, now having to take care of Alex, put aside her teenage life to get a job and eventually became his high school teacher. As the years passed, she became more distant from Alexs. The dream faded when a very imperative female voice brought him out of his reverie.
???: "Wake up, Alexs! The queen is waiting for you in the castle courtyard. You must get ready quickly." Alexs suddenly opened his eyes and found himself facing a young woman with orange hair, dressed in a maid outfit that reminded him of the characters in the fantasy novels he had read in his previous world.
Alexs: "The queen? Now?" ???: That's right, you must hurry or the Queen will get angry, she doesn't like to wait a long time, so let's go to the shower quickly, I have to get you ready so you're impeccable. Mentions the maid with a big smile as she pushes Alexs straight to the bathroom.
Alexs: okay okay can I do it alone Get out while I take a shower and wait outside. She says indicating to the orange-haired girl to get out of the bathroom. To which she shakes her head.
???: I can't do that as your personal maid my job is to take care of you and be with you at all times at least while you're in the castle. She says as she begins to undress quickly lowering her maid outfit to reveal her naked body and porcelain white skin, while a ray of light that appears out of nowhere perfectly covers her most private parts F. -Come on hurry up so I can wash your back.
Alexs: wait wait I can't just. What the hell is wrong with this girl she acts so normal and doesn't seem the least bit nervous about being naked in front of me wait for Oh, don't do that right now mini me. Okay, but do it quickly. I tell him as he jumps into the bathtub to hide what happened below.
???: Okay, now relax, this will be very polite for both of us, he says as he puts on a perverted face and walks towards the shower with both hands as if he were going to catch prey with his bare hands.
