5 Chapter 5

Finn decided that he would let what he knew of the first book to happen. So later that night Edward is watching Bella sleep. Finn sensed him in her room. The God that had given Finn his powers did not tell him that he could talk to people telepathically. He accidently did this to Edward. Edward looked around surprised. Edward did however know where it came from. He walked out of Bella's room and went right to Finns. Finn didn't try to hide it and said "Hello there," telepathically. Edward's eyes were like daggers to Finn. However Edward didn't understand why this boy could do this so he said something in his head. "Get out of my head you rat!" Finn listened and Edward could feel him leave his head. Edward asked him one question "How?" Finn just said "I don't really know myself," Of course Finn lied. Edward took one last look at him and disappeared out of the house.

The next day at school, there wasn't much that happened. When school ended Carlisle Cullen walked up to him. "Hello there, I need to talk with you. If you would follow us, that would be nice," He didn't seem to have any hidden intentions so I followed them to their house. When I got near it my telepathy turned on instantly and I almost fell over. I could hear all of their thoughts. One thing was for certain, their thoughts towards me were filled with curiosity and suspicion. I then realized I was similar to them. I followed Carlisle to their living room. He told me to sit down. "So, what brings you to a town like Forks?" He asked. I said "I came to reconnect with my father, and to make sure my sister isn't too lonely," He looked at my in a questioning manner. I could see his thoughts and it kept going to the same question, "what is this kid?"
