The Flower

"I have come not only to tell you this, but also to give you the mark of the suitor."

The man placed his finger on Liam's forehead, a magic circle appeared behind his ear.

the man said before leaving, "Well, remember my name, Bradford, if you ever become a Celestial Mage."

Bradford flew up and out of the same hole he came from. The hole in the ceiling seemed to close behind him.

Time resumed its course, Liam was speechless.

"Liam, open the door!!" Orion shouted.

Liam walked to open the door and saw his parents standing there.

"How long have you been here?"

"We just arrived. We heard a loud noise, like something exploded," Orion said.

"Um, it's nothing, it's just the ceiling...I mean I fell while looking at the ceiling."

"Aren't you broken?" said Orion

"Yes, I didn't break anything. Don't worry, I was about to go to bed."

Near the capital but far from the village where Liam was, there was a prison. The name of this prion The Robert Duncan Correctional Center. It was filled with the worst specimens....according to humans. All beings who had an opinion contrary to that of the king, or anyone who did not look like a human, were in this prison. In this hell that the empire created, torture was permitted.

A real hell on earth, but in this hell there was a flower. A flower that wanted to see the light of day that it had been deprived of. This flower was Mary was an elf, rather the future queen of the elves. But her brother Cigue betrayed her for the throne. He didn't want the throne to be given to his little sister.

In elf society, it is the last child who becomes the king or queen of the forest, and Marie is the third daughter of Lierre and Laurie. Cigue, aged 23, decided to sell his sister to a slave seller named Sam.

Following numerous discussions with Sam, Cigue decided to deliver Marie on August 4. That night, Cigue entered Marie's room. Without difficulty, he knocked her out with magic (he prolonged her sleep) and tied her up to deliver her to the slave trader. Crossing the entire forest during the night, he handed his sister over to Sam.

"It's her. Do what I told you, take her and try to put her in jail. If you succeed in putting her in jail, you'll get a nice purse."

Sam looked at Marie, tied up and innocent, and began to salivate while licking his lips. Dark thoughts swirled through his mind.

"If you want, I can break his morale…"

Cigue noticed Sam's excitement and said, "Listen to me, Sam. If I find out that you dared to sleep with her or another elf, I will kill you."

Sam looked at Cigue and laughed. "Ha, ha, ha! You're funny!"

"You really think you're a match for me... gee..." Sam was losing his air. He fell to the ground holding his neck. His face changed from white to red, his red beard starting to turn black because of the mud on the ground.

"We elves are superior beings to humans, so no mixing of races."

Sam nodded yes. Cigue let the air in in small quantities. He raised his boot to compress Sam's head, which was suffering from the little air that was coming to him.

"You see, I will soon become king..."

Sam didn't let Cigue finish and said, "You're using magic that's forbidden by... kof..."

"Keep what little air is left in your lungs. And yes, I used forbidden magic that will punish me...WHO WILL PUNISH A KING!!" Cigue said, raising his arms in the air and looking at the Moon.

"Surely not human beings...NOR ELVES!!"

"You know why they won't be able to punish me."

Sam, who was on the ground, said "well... no... ok..."

Cigue compressed Sam's head with his mud-stained white boot and said:

"Because I am..."

Liam had just woken up. He looked out his bedroom window and noticed children his age playing happily in the streets. Some were chasing colorful kites, while others were playing hide and seek between the old buildings.

A nostalgic smile appeared on his face, reminding him of his past life.

"LIAM, YOU WAKE UP!!" his mother shouted.

"YES, I'M WAKE UP!!" Liam replied.

"THEN COME DOWN TO EAT!"

"D'ACCORD, J'ARRIVE !"

Liam got up from his bed and put on a worn white tunic. He opened the door to go down the stairs. The tantalizing smell of cooking tickled his nostrils. He wondered what the humans of this world ate. He sat down at the table and took the wooden utensils.

"There, dinner is ready," said Elara.

She placed a grub stew on the table in front of Liam. For a moment, he regretted the frozen meals of his past life. He looked to the left and noticed that Orion was not sitting at the table.

"Where is father?" Liam asked.

"Ah, Orion isn't eating. He's going straight to work," Elara replied.

Liam was disgusted, but his body needed to eat. He took a plate and a spoon. The taste was indescribable, the larvae exploded in his mouth, leaving behind an unbearable smell.

After finishing his disastrous feast, he decided to go see Orion. Despite his imposing appearance, Orion was a man with a generous heart, loved by everyone in the village. Liam entered Orion's small workshop.

Orion's workshop was filled with gleaming weapons, well-polished armor, and exquisite jewelry. The flames danced on the swords and shields hanging on the walls, creating an atmosphere that was both warm and imposing.

Orion noticed that Liam was looking at the hanging armor. He let the hot iron cool in the water and went to see his son.

"What is the honor of your coming worth to me?" he asked.

Liam looked straight into his father's eyes to tell him...
