23 The path to Namek!
Well we all trained hard in the time chamber. And boy howdy the results speak for themsleves! We certainly went hard. But we had to make sure we were all ready!
And we made sure the others would be ready to fight off any other threats while we were away.

Yep... We were looking good. Vegeta was in disbelief at hearing how much we had grown in just one year. He was tempted to go again. But I told him the ten times gravity wouldn't give us the boost we need. And explained the gravity ship and its durable energy absorption nodes to aid our training further.
He was more than ready at that point.
So a week later we all gather at the ship, of course after Goku spent some time with Gohan in training him. And his sister Gine who was finally old enough to start training. And with Chi chi so she felt truly loved and cared for.
And during that time I led Raditz to the village.
He actually enjoyed speaking with them and sparring against their warriors.
He even began to like a woman who was the guard captain with 250 power level named Nadia. She was dark skinned. Had golden cat like eyes and had a well toned body showing her physical peak of training. Her clothing was to be barefoot, baggy middle eastern like pants, a basic breast wrap similar to Kaulifa. And golden earring hoops for her ears. She hand golden bangles and bracers that were well forged armor pieces.
Raditz was definitely liking her. And she promised that once he came back from his mission, (We explained his tail and what he has done for earth to them. They were impressed and would love to have his genes for their village members.) She would begin to court him and his strength.
Vegeta got to know us more and pitched a few ideas and schematics to Bulma. Under protest. But he still did it. And seemed to be wanting her to do each design 'perfectly' as he put it so he seemed to spend a lot of time in her workshop watching her work.
If only he realized what he was doing.
Oh well. Plenty of time to call him out for it later!
For now we had a planet to save!
So after all of that we finally made it to our ship. The defenders who stayed behind said they would listen for King Kais call and they would have the Dragonballs ready for standby should we require any last minute wishes to aid us in defending Namek.
We all piled into the ship, (Twice as big as the original to allow for our team of five to comfortably move and train.) And we launched off after hugs between Raditz and Nadia were exchanged. Vegeta threatened (Read: Flirted) Bulma to finish those designs by the time he was back. And Goku kissed Chi chi, and hugged his kids goodbye.
Popo wished us luck as he was eyeing our remaining members with his sudden power of 200k.
Someone needs to explain how he keeps growing so much faster than us!! Seriously!

Anyway we all made it to space safely and set the gravity to times 20 since we were used to times 10 from the time chamber.
We all grin and set about sparring and boosting our power levels to new heights on our way to Namek.
The first day we train. It wasn't so bad. Thanks to our weighted clothing we were all feeling the times twenty weight. Vegeta was struggling to adjust as it was his first time with weighted clothing in such conditions.
He soon gets used to it after a few hours but it is slow going for him at first.
After a solid couple of hours sparring with each other in such conditions and eating up a good amount of food from the fridge. Especially from the saiyans portion. We get settled in without our weights to sleep.
The next day we definitely feel the burn but know we should press on.
We set the second days weight at 40. Knowing we will need to do our best to reach much higher levels of power to stand a chance against Frieza. And thankfully.
Our training from the time chamber made this relatively east to achieve. Our main challenge was getting used to the 1.5 tons turning into 60 tons on our bodies.
We were understandably heavy and had to make sure we flew most of the time on the combat floor. But we pushed ourselves since we only had a few more days left to train in these conditions.
So day by day we increased by either 20 or 10 times. While using the Senzu Beans I had Kami help Korin mass produce. By running interference with Yajirobe so we had a ready supply of over 150 beans.
We enjoyed using those to help our training reach new heights.
By the time our party reached Namek we had grown so much it wasn't even funny anymore.
We had reached 100 times gravity by the 5th day and used the last two travel days to train at that level.
But something happened on the fourth day that made me laugh.
4th day
Goku was sparring with Piccolo while I was teaching Vegeta how to sense energy and Raditz was going through katas and skill forms from karate and kung fu to supplement his combat style.
As we trained Goku looked out the window to see a planet that looks like Namek.
He goes, "Hey guys! I think we're here!"
They all run to the windows while Raditz and Vegeta are in disbelief as it should have been 3 to 4 more days before we arrived.
I slowly lean back to look at the console and notice it said planet "FAKE NAMEK" and then slowly leaned back to side eye Goku.
I clear my throat and tell him, "Hey... Goku?"
"Yeah Buddy?"
"The map says its a fake Namek."
Piccolo with a raised eyebrow, "It actually says that?"
I show them all and they all just stare dumbly at the label of the planet as we steer away from it. I was laughing my ass off as, while it wasn't a giant neon sign. The fact that the map of space literally said it was hilarious.
So we found the real Namek and landed.
We all flexed out bodies and checked our power levels with my handy dandy power.
Goku 190,000--> 380,000
Krillin 185,000 --> 370,000
Piccolo 165,000--> 330,000
Raditz 128,000 --> 275,000
Vegeta 178,000 --> 350,000
Thank you my times 20 potential boost!
Now to find the Namekians and gather them and their dragonballs up before Frieza comes to attack!
We land our ship near Gurus house where I sensed Nails power level of 58,000 and Gurus of 25,000.
We land the ship and fly up to his place. Where Nail greets us and is shocked to see Piccolo there. He wonders where we are from before I explain to him why we look like we do and what is coming for their planet.
Guru hears it all and lets us in so that we could explain it to him as well.
After a lengthy explanation of why a group of 3 saiyans, an earthling, and an off world Namekian were all there. We gain Gurus permission to gather his children ans grandchildren at his island. And thankfully this guy is like the anime version. Very loving of his people and very serious.
I swear if I had to hear one more super kami guru joke?... I was going to join Friezas side!
Okay maybe not. But my retribution would be swift and heavy!
We fly off with a seal of Guru attached to our gis and the saiyan armor that Bulma made sure to fix up for Raditz and Vegeta during the lull between missions.
We fly off and gather each tribe and their dragonballs by showing them our symbols as Gurus messengers and have them fly to the only safe island.
After counting up each tribe and making sure we were all prepared we began to train with Nail and some volunteers of the Namekian militia to aid us in our defense of Namek.
Using the time chamber and the spare weighted clothing they improved by leaps and bounds as they grew stronger.
I was able to avoid using our senzu bean supply thanks to the healing Namekians among them.
Soon we had passed a week here and only now found out, thanks to Raditzs repaired communicator scouter, that Frieza would be at Namek in the next week.
We enacted our plan to truly screw him over.
The Dragon Poronga was summoned and we asked him three very specific wishes.
First was to revive Gokus father Bardock. Then Bring him to Namek to join us. And finally send all Namekians who wouldn't be fighting off world to earth so they would be safe.
Bardock looks around confused but happy to be back. When we is explained the situation he grunts with happiness and says something strange.
"Perfect! That means I can screw over two members of the cold empire dynasty bloodline!"
I think that over before asking him privately while the others said goodbye to the civilians and Guru who all leave.
"Bardock? Did you happen to go somewhere after we sent you and Gine back to the after life?"
Bardock thinks before answering, "Well not so much went somewhere. More like I regained my memories? Some blue skinned and white haired guy found my soul mid transit after you wanted to revive me and said it was time I gained back my missing parts? And suddenly I remembered that I was sent to the past. And unlocked a new form!"
I gasp as I now know Whis was responsible for why Bardock was only at his bardock special episode power level. And not at his ova special power level.
Now it makes sense. I chuckle and say, "Let me guess... You're a super saiyan?"
Bardock nods and gets ready to tell the others before I stop him and explain why we are all staying behind.
He nods and grins before taking a turn in the gravity ship with his own set of weighted clothes as he began to train up from the 85,000 he currently was.
I rub my hands happily as our forces are getting stronger and stronger.
I even got a nice call from King Kai who says, "Hey so Gine says good luck and make sure her sons and husband survie this! She hasn't been training to help protect her new extended family just for them to all die while she is still dead!"
I chuckle as we all refocus on training and promise King Kai that we will revive her after we survive all of this mayhem that is about to ensue.
