172 Twists and Turns Part 1

It was dark, their only source of light was a faint blue light that laughably lit the cave walls. The further they went in the worse the terrain became. Calder wrapped an arm around Syria making sure she didn't stumble or fall. While Britille seemed to be able maneuver through the darkness like a cat in an alleyway. 

Calder looked around and wondered what was causing the blue light but he couldn't spot anything special. Britille stopped moving and dropped to her knees. Calder became confused, from what he knew about Britille she was not one who would willingly drop to her knees, so he dropped his gaze.

Britille hands moved desperately over the rocks and dirt. Calder let Syria go and dropped to his knees, hoping he could help Britille find what she was searching for. Syria did the same and they searched. Soon they heard sounds coming from behind them. Britille's hands moved even faster until Syria grabbed Calder's arm.
