Calder dug deeper and deeper into the ground. Thoughts of what happened in the meeting swam in his head.

"She could be alive." Calder said.

"Why would the Count be with her?! Why bring my dad into all of this?! What's her plan?!" Lady Rose shouted.

"There is no way Her Highness-she could be alive I saw her corpse! It must be someone else!" Wystan yelled.

"We all saw her corpse! But if she's involved with the masks then couldn't she fake her own death?!" Britille shouted.

"Shae, Shaylah, did you hear anything from your time in the Guild? Whispers that she is alive?" Calder asked.

"There weren't even whispers of her maybe being alive." Shaylah replied.

"See that proves that she isn't alive!" Wystan shouted.

"Don't be stupid! She must be alive and we'll find out now!" Rutley yelled.

"What?!" Wystan shouted.

"We will go mad trying to figure this out!" Calder shouted back.

"We have to dig her up." Esai said.
