49 Chapter 48

One week later.

In this past week, there has been nothing weird to Sam's life, other than the constant bickering of the 4 girls trying to appeal to him.

For some peculiar reasons, the girls have been forcing him on their homemade food. They have fought for the position of feeding and cleaning him with a huge variety of small games, board games, to silly challenges.

The worst one was probably the Pee Holding Challenge. No need to talk about the outcome of that one. The true winner of that challenger was Yuno since she brought 2 pairs of undies. When asked why she had 2, she simply answered: "Yuno has experience."

For the menu that they fight so much to feed the guy, they make changes every day and the meals are all up to a very high standard. There is a recurrence, however.

Ingredients such as black raspberry, pine nuts, watermelons, broccoli, and avocado are almost always present in his lunch box. Many of which are quite expensive.

On a side note, Sam's morning mood since eating the meals made by the girls has somehow changed.

His little friend stands up harder, and longer, every morning.

Putting aside the strange incident about his morning wood, the meals prepared are much better than hospital food, but Sam feels a sense of embarrassment just eating their cooking without paying anything.

To which, they all replied cryptically: "You paid already."

Also, there have been always at least two parties in the room. Sam has no idea why, but the girls tend to be together all the time.

He has never had a chance to be alone with each one of them, especially Yuno. Their eyes are always focusing on him and each other.

Like there is a race going on between them with something from Sam as the prize.

As for Marie, he has not been paying attention to her so much anymore. Since the video call, he has made his mind clear already. That there is nothing left for him to do with her.

All of his leftover feelings, similar to the video call, were done.

After that, just like what he thought, Marie has also disappeared. There has been no contact since then. Although he is slightly interested in her current whereabouts, it is nothing more than just pure curiosity.

To Sam, Marie is only a fragment of his dumb youth. She was a real eye-opener that helped him see the truth about himself. No more than that.

Right now, he has a more urgent thing to care for. Sam is trying to get the girls to let him be discharged from the hospital.

"I'm good! I swear! I'm good! My body is fully healed. I can go back to school, see!" Sam jumps up and down, doing some kind of aerobics.

The 4 girls, who are blocking the door, look at him with eyes full of doubt. "Really?"

The guy nods vigorously. "Of course, I am all good. I can finally go back to training again!"

Yuno tilts her head. "What is up with Sam and school, anyway? You keep asking to go back there. Yuno doesn't see the fun in going back and forth doing the same thing every day. Yuno wants to be with Sam, but can we do fun things?!"

Yui explains with a big sigh. "Because Sam likes training better than us, Yuno. He would rather spend his time alone at the gym than with us being around him. *Sniff* Yui is sad *sniff*." Yui's eyes become a bit misty.

"No! No no no! Not that! Definitely not because of that." He waves his hands frantically upon the sight of Yui about to cry. "You see, I train because of a specific reason."

Nycta joins in the conversation. "And that reason is to be as far from us as possible. I get it, Sammy. You don't need to be so sensitive."

"Wait! No! Not that!"

Lily smiles at him. "So you DO want us around?"

"...Yeah. I do." He breaths out in defeat.

There is no way one man can stand a verbal fight with 4 girls. The case is even more concrete if the girls are crazy about him.

"But you should all know that..."

"That you train because you want to get stronger. Geez!" They all stop him in the middle of his sentence.

"Exactly!"

"But why is Sam trying to become stronger? You don't exactly have a reason now, right?" Once again, Yuno tilts her head.

It used to be so that he could stand alongside Marie. That purpose is long gone. The new Sam thinks of something else.

One of the real reasons he wants to escape the hospital is mostly because of the 4 girls.

With the excuse of "Not being well enough", the girls have been taking care of his hygiene. Every nook and cranny of him has been seen by them. Using a warm wet towel, each of them has "cleaned" his body while the others hold him down.

At first, he tried his best to cover up. At the end of it, he stopped caring.

In Lily's medical words: "It's a sign of a healthy body."

In Yui's stuttering words: "It's...it's...good..."

In Yuno's aggressive words: "It's not going to fit, but Yuno has to."

In Nycta's strange words: "It smells very nice."

"Don't worry, we will take responsibility!" They told him.

His dignity is forever lost. At least they look at it in awe rather than pity.

Another reason is Sam wants to try out his newfound power. He wants to be able to use them effectively so that he can protect the ones he cares about in the future.

Of course, he can not say the true reasons. The 4 thirsty ladies will not let him go like that.

Sam needs a diversion.

"You look cute, Yuno!" He gleams at her posture.

"Hehe!" Immediately, Yuno comes close and hugs him tightly. The young girl smiles happily doing so.

Sam can feel her humble breasts touching his stomach.

And of course, the other parties are not very happy about that as they look at Yuno with swirling eyes.

"What about me!!!" They all ask.

He looks at each of them and says: "Yui, very nice hairdo today. I like it when you put your hair on one side. It comments on your young appearance a lot.

Nycta, I must say that the choice of the short skirt of yours is although very subtle, but also very appealing to me. Your slender legs are shown perfectly. Be careful with other people's gazes, though.

And finally, Lily, I can see that you wear a new lab coat. It suits you. But honestly, you don't need to change a thing about yourself. Your normal self is great just the way you are."

The girls collapse on the ground. Their faces blush from happiness and are full of embarrassment. Yui, especially has steam coming off from her head.

Sam has never been oblivious to the changes around him. On the contrary, he has had to keep an eye on everything when he was trying to be on Marie's good side. Now that Marie is gone, he uses that on the girls.

He pays attention to every single detail that is going on around him. That is the reason why he has such a good talent for battle. Even the smallest change in the clothing of the girls will be remembered by Sam.

Sam acts upon his feelings rather than saying them out loud. In the past, he noticed many times that the girls were having feelings for him, so he gently told them off.

Clearly, he is not the type that would go all red when it comes to his feelings. He fights for it with all of his life and will not let anything come in between them.

"Ah! I almost forgot. We still need to start moving in together!" Sam suddenly remembers his promise to the girls. "I need to go back to my dormitory to get a few things. So in the end, I need to be discharged anyway."

Hearing the phrase 'moving in together' from him, the girls lose all of their final defense. They all jump up from the floor in enthusiasm. There is no time to waste. This is what all of them have been waiting for.

Yuno pumps her fist up high, yelling:" Living together with Sam!!!!!"
