Chapter 19

Although her father is a doctor at the hospital, going inside to treat her burned wound would take too long. Lily does not trust the twins alone with Sam. She knows what disturbing darkness is hidden behind their angelic smiles.

Which is why she decides to just do some first aid for herself despise her wound being quite severe. She has everything that she needs underneath her labcoat anyway. It should be fine for now. Years of practicing on Sam's body certainly has its merits. She is just so thankful to his body right now.

Those abs, those pecs. They make her swoon.

"Excuse me for a bit." Feeling her face turning hot, Lily runs inside of the hospital, looking for the restroom. She needs to be ready as fast as possible.

But before leaving, she says a few extra words.

"Don't go anywhere, will you?"

"I'll wait here for you. It's still pretty early for school. Take your time."

Actually, Sammy, I am not talking to you. Lily says in her head.

Seeing the disturbance gone, the twins smile. They have achieved their objective today.

"Sam, Yui misses you!"

"Yuno too!"

Their eyes shine brightly as they wrap their arms around him even tighter than before.

"Ow ow! Girls! You are hurting me. It has only been a couple of days since the last time I was at the library." He pats the two on their heads. "Go easy on my fragile body, please."

They open up their hug a little right after that.

Feeling the warmth of his hands, the twins both close their eyes once more.

"Hehe. Yui loves headpats."

"Yuno also loves headpats. Especially if it is from Sam."

"Alrighty alrighty. Why are the two most angelic librarians here?" He asks.

The twins are delighted to hear him calling them angelic. Still, they have to finish their devilish scheme.

"Hmph. Yui will not tell you until you say "I miss Yui." ." Yui shakes her head while pouting.

"Yuno too. Yuno will listen to whatever Sam wants if he says he misses Yuno!" And Yuno follows.

"Come on, girls! It's been a few days only!"

They only show this childish side of them to Sam. To others, they rarely even show their interests. And to that particular Talk group, let's just say the twins can not wait for the day they personally dispose their corpses.

"Doesn't matter, Sam has to say he misses us too. Right Yuno?"

"Yes Yui. He should be. Otherwise we are going to cry." *Sniff*

"Sam does not want Yuno to cry, right?"

"*Sniff* Sam does not miss us, Yui?"

As guilt starts to swell up inside of him, Sam finally gives in to the twins's plan.

"Okay, okay. I give up. Sam misses Yui! Sam misses Yuno! Don't cry, okay?" He says so apologetically, like he is saying sorry to his little sisters if he did have sisters.

Unexpectedly, they do not seem to be fazed after him doing what they requested.

The two look up at Sam. They first just want to fool around with him for a little bit. It is basically what they always want to do when he is around.

However, they see that the place of his left is now only a piece of bandage. Because of this, tears really start to form on their heterochromia eyes.

"Is it painful, Sam? Your left eye?" Yuno touches his bandage very softly.

"It must be, Yuno! Don't ask him such a question!" Yui takes Yuno's hand down.

"S...sorry...*sniff* Yuno is sorry! Don't be mad at us Sam!"

"Yuno, don't cry. Stop. Don't cry anymore...because when you cry...I cry too...*Sniff*"

"I'm fine! I'm fine! For real! Don't worry anymore, I'm good now!" Sam gets a little of a panic attack when the twins start crying out of nowhere. To lighten the mood, Sam starts posing like the muscular guys on magazines.

"Yu...*sniff* Yuno wishes...*hic* that Yuno could have been there...*hic* the other day." Yuno talks in tears.

"If...*sniff* Yui knew sooner...*sniff*Yui would have helped...Sam..." Yui tries to hold in in desperately.

"I'm fine. Honestly!!" Sam starts making weird faces to make the two stop crying but to no avail.

People start looking at his side.

A guy making two girls crying. Such a sight these days.

"Yuno let those people hurt Sam! *Wah*" Yuno finally loses her composure.

"Yui should have known better! *Wah*" Yui, too.

They start crying louder and louder with no signs of stopping, completely forget that they are in front of a hospital.

"What is that?"

"Child abuse?"

People start pointing fingers.

"Look at me! ZA WARUDO!" With nothing left to try, Sam tries a very distinctive pose.

Finally, it works.

"Hehehe *sniff* Sam you silly man."

"Pfft *hic* What are you doing in lublic."

Sam wipes off the sweats on his forehead. He wish Lily could be here to help him with these cry babies.

The twins have always been like this. They just do not show their real nature out.

Little does Sam know, their true nature is far worse than this current state.

And his idea of involving Lily into this mess is absolutely horrendous. They can not even stand the thought of being at the same place.

"Sam, why don't we head to the library with us?" Yui asks sam while pulling softly onto his shirt.

"Yuno thinks so too." Yuno nods.

"I have class today, sorry. Maybe later? Oh wait, later I'll be having ice cream with Lily."

*Badump*

Hearing that name, the two feel uncomfortable all of a sudden. So she has already booked him. They think.

But we are not going to let this chance go that easily. Not to mention, Sam can not go to school at this instant. Even though the twins do not yet know what the others will do, but they will not take that chance. Better be safe than sorry.

"Yui would like to know this 'Lily' person. Is that okay with you?"

"Yuno likes a new friend, too."

"Oh! This is new! First time ever you ask me to introduce you to anyone." Sam is slightly suprised. "Of course. It's not a bad thing to have more friends. Lily is that person who just went inside the restroom."

"Is she your girlfriend, Sam." The two say at the same time.

For some reason, Sam feels like they stress the word girlfriend very strangely. Could it be?

"Nope. She is not my girlfriend. I was dumped a few days a go, you know. My heart can't heal that fast, haha." The young man smiles wryly.

It is still very painful remembering what happened two days ago.

"We have no idea." They do.

"Yui will give Sam a hug. Here. Yui magnificient huggies!"

"Yuno too Yuno too. Bear hug Yuno go!!"

Feeling their warmth on his chest, Sam does feel a little better.

"Thank you. Truly." His right eye looks at each of them seperately. Somehow, he has a weird feeling. Like they are going to do something that will change his life for good.

"So does this mean we finally have a chance?" Yui asks.

There it is.

"Buy one get one free. One Yui gets one Yuno. Limited deal only to Sam!!"

"Not right now." He pats them on the head. His heart keeps beating faster and faster.

"Not ever!" Lily appears from behind him. Her glare pierces through his back.

"I went away for less than five minutes and you are going to get a room somewhere already? Hugging in front of a hospital like this? Where are your manners?"

"What is up with you, we are not hugging you!" Yui glares back.

"Yeah, stop bothering us! Shoo. Evil person shoo!" Yuni joins in the fight.

"Ahem. Yui, Yuni, this is Lily."

*Glares*

"And Lily, these girls are Yui and Yuno."

*Glares*

They look like they are going to kill each other.

"I hope you can get along nicely." Sam says.

"Of course." The three girls reply. Their stares never leave the faces of their opponents.
