"You wanted to hunt around the Beast area?" Anton asked.

Liam nodded his head seriously. "I want to train for the entrance examination." he used this as an excuse.

It was half-truth. His plan before was to just spar with his brother. The actual reason is that he was preparing to overcome his death flag. Earlier he met his youngest sister, Hannah and realized something.

The reason why the surname 'Terron' is familiar was because of Hannah who became part of Lorelei's group at the later chapters when the Gates opened. She was saved by Lorelei's group from a slave trader who was sold by her aunt, our father's younger sister after her family members' death.

It was mention that Hannah's family was killed after the Gate opened near the Luminous Guild's HQ where numerous Orcs appeared. The Terron family tried to saved the civilians and guild members and ended up dying. No one survived and Hera Terron, Henry's sister became the guildmaster.

However, one of the member of the Terron family actually died before then.

It's him,

Liam Austine Terron. He died in a beast attack when the club he joined went outside for a club activities. He's a cannon fodder through and through.

Liam didn't know which club it is since he's not even mention in the novel aside from being mention in Hannah's story. The truth is numerous clubs were attck at that time and one of them is Liam's club. Lorelei's club is also attacked so the novel's narration was obviously focus on them.

So instead of trying to wonder what club should he joined to avoid being killed, he might just as well train to gain experience. Although it sound bothersome.

Anton wonder if he heard wrong. Liam and training? That doesn't sound right. His brother had always hate training. No matter how we try to convince him, he never agree. So why is he asking this now?

But he remember what happened to Liam and immediately understood. He must be traumatized after the villain attack. He now felt some pity and was sad for his brother.

Antonio sighed. "Are you sure?" he asked again to make sure. "I wouldn't intervene even if you got injured. I'll only help you if you're about to die."

"It's fine for me." Liam answered without hesitation.

Looking at those determined eyes, Anton nodded with a small smile. He grow up.

"Okay, then. Let's go tomorrow since I would be busy after that." he stood up from his seat.

Liam also stood up and bid his brother goodbye.

"Noted."

"You didn't tell me 'that' will gonna be here." Liam asked with a frowned, pointing at a certain blonde-haired girl.

"Hey! That's rude! Do you think I wanted to be here?!" Elisha shouted with a glare which he ignore.

Eliana smiled helplessly. "Eli, calm down."

Liam only shot them a glance before looking away after meeting Elisha's gaze. Base on his memories, these two girls are his childhood 'friends'. Their mother, Elizabeth Morris were close to her mother. They owned an auction hall.

"He's being an asshole, Yanna!"

Anton shook his head before giving a warning look at Liam. Liam only shrugged his shoulders. For some reason, he felt annoyed whenever he see Elisha's face. Maybe it's because of the orginal owner of this body?

In his memories, they really don't get along. While he's quite close to Eliana.

Anton clapped his hands to get their attention.

"Settle down. Liam, shut your mouth. Eli, please be patient. And Yanna... I'm glad that you're here." he can't imagine being with these two.

Eliana just smile timidly. It's unknown why the tip of her ears that is covered with her silver hair are red.

The four of them are at the entrance of the Beast Forest also known as Beast Area. It was a forest filled with mutated ferocious animals. There is government officials at the entrance. One need to write their names before they enter and if they want, they could pay for someone to accompany them. The price depend on their rank. With this, they could ensure their safety more.

"I already line up earlier and receive our permit." he took out his phone and send the permit to the three.

The three also grab their phones and look out the permit that were send to their email account. It's an email containing the permission given by the government. It has the group and individual permit.

"Let's enter now."

The group walked to the large black gate beside the government stall. There are a lot of well-equipped groups entering the gate and lining up for the permit.

There are also some stalls where you can buy or sell the beast you caught from the Beast area and some other things that is worth a fortune. They showed their permit. The guard opened the smaller gate at the side and they soon entered the forest.

Eliana took a deep breathe with a smile on her face. She seem to like the fresh air and lush green of the Beast area.

Now that he think about it, he never tried looking at these two's authority. He never tried to look at his family's as a respect for their privacy and because he didn't know if they would find out about it due to the large gap in rank.

Liam took a quick look before cancelling the skill. He only wanted to try his skill and no intention of looking through it. Then he activated another skill, <Record>. He intend to analyze the record earlier so he would know what to improve.

"We can only stay at the border since the three of you are still in G-rank. I'll observe you guys and I'm gonna repeat this again." Anton's voice turned serious. "I'm not gonna save your ass unless you're about to die so don't be reckless."

We all nodded our heads. Liam could see the twins tensing up. He was also a little nervous and excited but not pressured at all.

Last night, he make sure to get used to this body so he can fight properly. Since even though he's not a professional, he lived his life fighting for his life before. He already overcome the fear someone like him should have.

Anton nodded with satisfaction. He gave a wide grin. "Then let's go and find a target."

After walking in the forest for five minutes, they encounter a rabbit eating a what seems to be a lizard but much larger.

The rabbit is actually a mutated animal, twice the size of the normal rabbit and have red fur. It's called Blood Rabbit. While the lizard has white hard scales and was called White-scaled Lizard. They have interesting names.

Eliana immediately take out her gun while Elisha took out a long silver whip, both are ready for a battle. Liam felt out of place so he also unsheathe his sword. But Anton was calm. He even nodded his head with a small smile after observing the rabbit.

"The beast in front of us is called Blood Rabbit. They has 109 sharp teeth that can suck a person's blood. They were Grade 1 monsters suited for G-rank awakened. At most they can reach Grade 2, having an F-rank's speed and agility but their strength was very lacking and if an awakened have good defense, their teeth wouldn't be able to penerate." he muttered it like tour guide in a field trip making the twins' face twitch.

Liam shook his head. He's already starting to regret coming here.

"The rabbit is about to finish eating. Who wanted to try fighting it?" Anton asked with a smile.

The twins became quiet before glancing at Liam who have no expression on his face while holding his sword lazily. Liam noticed their gazes and arched a brow.

He wanted to ask, 'Shouldn't it be ladies first?' but just swallow it back in his throat.

"If I die, I'm going to strangle you two in your sleep." he said before preparing himself for a battle. The twins just laughed.

"Good luck, Liam! I-I'll pray for you!" Eliana cheer him up.

Please don't. He just ignore Eliana. Liam took a deep breath before dashing forward.

Boom-! Swoosh-

His foot pressed to the ground leaving a small crater, his body push forward in a fast speed towards the rabbit who just finished his meal and slash his sword, aiming for the neck.

The Blood Rabbit had a good hearing. It turned to him before jumpinh towards him with it's mouth opened. The hideous shark-like teeth entered Liam's vision but he calmly took a step back.

Liam coated the sword with his mana and slash it downwards. The rabbit didn't have time to dodge and was cut into two. Blood splashed in his cheeks and the Blood Rabbit's body fell to the ground with a soft thud.

Blood rabbit is weak. The fight is too easy. I need stronger opponents. Or maybe I shouldn't have used mana?

He was thinking of a better way to train his swordmanship when he heard a clap. He turned around and saw the twins' gaze who look very impressed.

The twins had no combat experience and was very amazed at how calm Liam is. Their respect for Liam increased by tenfold.

Liam just shook his head. The Blood rabbit is the weakest out of the Grade 1 beats and also the most common. What are you so amazed about? Liam thought.

"Good job. Let's find another one." Anton said with a smile.

Thus, the group of four continue their hunt.
