Chapter 40: Harvest in the Farmland

"Franz-sama, it's amazing! The fruits have grown!!"

"Yes, they have indeed produced fruits. And the vegetables have also grown their own fruits!"

It was a growth that defied common sense in Japan. Both rice and wheat had abundant yields. It was delightful to see the vegetables thriving as well.

I used to be a freeter with a low income. While I had taken up various part-time jobs, I had never even considered farming, let alone imagine myself doing it. This was my first experience with agriculture, and if I could harvest something in a day, it would be quite an achievement—no, it was beyond extraordinary.

If I could use Mithril farming tools in Japan, I would become incredibly wealthy. No Japanese farmer would be able to compete with me. But this was a different world; I had to face reality.

With this bountiful harvest, I could live comfortably without worrying about hunger. I'm relieved because my biggest concern was food.

Since Sui was completely new to agriculture, she decided to observe.

Well, I was no different. I had zero experience with farming in Japan, so I had to rely on my vague knowledge of agriculture to harvest.

Though I could technically harvest with my bare hands, I thought it would be inefficient. Farmers use tools and machines in Japan for harvesting. But in this world, there were no large-scale agricultural machines like in Japan.

Thinking about using a Mithril sword for harvesting, I realized it would be challenging. Harvesting involved delicate movements, and with a sword, the only option would be cutting.

What about Mithril farming tools? Those were designed for tilling the soil and might not be suitable for delicate harvesting tasks.
