Chapter 20 Vex And Daka’s Plan Part Two

As the movie started Felix stared at the screen that shown a man who said "When I was younger, I always thought love was something unneeded." Daka blushed as she grabbed the remote and said "S-sorry… I must've clicked the continue button." Felix stared at the screen and watched as she reversed the movie back to the beginning he asked "Is this what a movie is supposed to be like?" Daka glanced at him as she nervously said "N-no… this was my fault… just give me a minute." As she started the movie at the very beginning she said "Now the movie is actually starting." Felix stared at the tv in confusion as he asked "Why is the screen showing the sky?" Vex tugged on his sleeve as she nervously whispered "I-it's gonna transition into showing us the main characters." As the view lowered from the sky and onto a man and woman passing by Felix thought "Why are all of the other people blurred?" Felix continued to watch the movie as he thought "Maybe if I just act like I know what's going on I'll begin to understand it." As some time passed the characters in the show came to a sentimental part where they were about to kiss.

Felix continued to watch it with a blank face as Vex and Daka began to fidget and try to avoid looking at him. As the two characters kissed Daka worked up the courage to look at him and say "I-it's really r-romantic… isn't it?" Felix glanced at her as he said "Y-yeah." Vex stared at him as she asked "H-have you ever done anything like that?" Felix thought for a moment as he said "I don't think I have." Vex stared at him while blushing as she nervously asked "B-but how do you not know if you've k-kissed… someone." Felix stared at her for a moment as he said "Well my memory really only goes back to a couple of days ago… so sorry I can't really answer that question with certainty." Vex's face became extremely red as she asked "T-than… does that mean… that you might not have had… y-your first… k-kiss?" Felix shrugged as he said, "Can't really say." Felix smiled at her as he jokingly said "I guess if I kissed you right now I'd be able to answer that honestly." Vex's face turned bright red as she began to vanish while covering her face and saying "I-I-I'm… I'm not… ready yet." As she disappeared Felix froze for a moment and then said "I-I'm sorry if that offended you… please come back." As she reappeared still covering her face and blushing Felix let out a sigh of relief while saying "Good you are still here."

As Felix glanced at Daka who was curled up into a ball he nervously asked "D-did I offend you too?" Daka glanced at him while blushing as she said "N-no." Felix turned back to the movie and seen the two characters leaving one another as he sighed and mumbled "I wish I could read minds like that girl for even a moment." The voice seemed happy as it said "So you'd like me to read their minds?" Felix seemed shocked to hear the voice as he thought "What is she trying to do?" As the voice fell silent it listened to both of their thoughts and heard Daka and Vex's minds say "I wish he would kiss me like that." The voice laughed as it cheekily said "How odd… it seems these two want you to give them a kiss… what strange people." Felix flinched as he mumbled, "Hey voice stop screwing with me." The voice seemed annoyed as it said "I'm not toying with you… I know you think I'm only here for my entertainment… and although you are right I wouldn't lie about a woman's feelings… you idiotic one-tailed male." As the credits began to play for the movie Daka and Vex glanced at each other and then nodded simultaneously as if they were giving each other some kind of signal. As Daka and Vex both stood up Daka said "W-why don't we play some games now?"

Felix thought about all the times he died in the game as he said "I think I'll just watch this time." Vex tugged on his sleeve as she asked "W-will you please play with us?" Felix sighed as he said, "Okay… but I won't be any good." As Daka put a game in she smiled and said "Don't worry about it, this one is a player vs player game so we'll be sure to go easy on you." Felix stared at them for a moment without saying a word as Daka said "A player is what we are because we're playing the game." Daka handed Felix and Vex a controller as she smiled and said "Alright, let's have some fun." As the game screen popped up Daka pointed to a character and said "Felix, you should be this guy, he's really strong." As Felix choose the person she pointed out she thought "He choose the cheat character, with him playing that guy it should be at least somewhat fair and enjoyable for him." Once they all choose their characters the game started and Daka and Vex immediately began to fight each other in the game. Felix sat there for a moment not doing anything but watching until Daka said "Come on, you can move to you know." Felix glanced down at the controller for a moment and then held down one button as he said "This one right?"

As Felix's character walked off the edge Daka stared at the screen in disbelief and thought "Another plan ruined… I thought I was gonna be able to see a cocky and arrogant side of him." As the Daka and Vex fought Daka smirked and thought "Well I'm not completely out of options." As Daka leaned back onto Felix she blushed and nervously asked "D-do you mind if I lean against you for back support." Felix tilted his head in confusion as he asked "Is your back gonna be alright?" Vex leaned onto him as well as she asked with a red face "C-can I… also use you to support my back." Felix glanced at her as he asked "Can a ghost's back get bad?" Vex nervously nodded as she said "Y-yeah." Felix sighed as he said, "Sure, I guess you both can." Daka and Vex both glanced at each other and then continued to play the game as Daka thought "I was gonna try to convince him to let me sit in his lap… but with Vex here I guess that isn't an option." As Vex continued to play the game as she thought "I-I won't let Daka have her way with him… but… I don't wanna ruin Daka's chance either." As Felix watched them both fall off at the same time he asked "Who won?" Daka and Vex glanced at each other as Vex said "I-I guess we don't know who won." Daka and Vex stared at each other for a moment as they both smiled and said "A tie."

Felix glanced at each of them as he said "Y-yeah… I kinda figured that much out… the box you call a tv does have it written in big yellow words." As they all sat there Daka and Vex both glanced at Felix with a red face and then back at each other as they asked "Is a tie… allowed?" Felix stared at the tv as he nervously said "I-if a tie isn't allowed you two could just play again… right?" Daka and Vex both glanced at him as Daka said "Yeah… but this time try not to walk off the edge right away." As the next match started Daka smiled and thought "A tie… it's such a simple answer… I'm sure he wouldn't mind if we just shared him… but will Lilac and Silkie accept that?" Vex glanced at Felix and took his hand off of a button as she said "I-if you hold down that movement button you'll walk off the edge again… you should press the other buttons too." Daka smiled as she watched Felix's character attack the air as she said "Now you're getting it." As Daka's character hit Felix's with an uppercut and then fired off a laser from his hands killing his character Felix stared at the screen and said "M-maybe I should just watch."

Daka stared at the screen in disappointment as she thought "Crap… I wasn't supposed to kill him… I hope he doesn't hate me for that." Felix set the controller down as he smiled awkwardly and said "Maybe I'm just not meant to play games… although they are interesting to watch." Daka glanced at him with a worried look as she asked "I-I didn't just ruin games for you did I?" Felix glanced at her as he said "Ruined games? No, you haven't I just can't understand them." Daka let out a sigh of relief as she thought "Thank god he doesn't hate me for telling him I'd go easy on him and then hitting him with the toughest combo in the game." As Daka turned back to the screen she saw yellow words that read "Vex is the winner!" Felix stared at the words for a moment and then glanced at the door as he said "Well I'd best be going, I'll see you both later."
