Itachi Minami, the Delinquent

Sitting at his desk, with his chin sitting on his palm, he waited for the rest of the hour to pass him by.

Sighing, he was angry at himself… and unbearably bored.

He was slightly tormented by the same repeating thought.

"… I was one point short… of a passing grade… just one point.., and I wouldn't have to deal with this…"

He had already finished his make-up test and waited for the teacher to come back and collect them.

Quietly talking to himself, he said:

"…I could be out there at the track, practicing right now…"

His melancholic mood was broken, when he heard a girl growling.

To the right of him, she was in the back corner of the mostly-empty classroom.

She was aggressively erasing her answers on her test.

"Damnit… why do I gotta know this stupid shit…"

No longer looking to the front of the room, his head turned, as he looked at her struggle to finish the test.

He recalled who she was, after a second of trying to remember the names of every student in his class.

"Itachi Minami… it's been a while since I've seen her cone to school…"

Dropping her face on the desk, she pouted as she said:

"…Ugh… why did they have to call my mom…"

After a second, her sharp and piercing light brown eyes quickly shot leftwards, to return his gaze.

Instantly, he sat straight forwards in his seat, pretending to have not looked at her; as if nothing just happened at all.

Silently praying she would ignore it, his pleads were ignored, as she said:

"Hey. Don't pretend that you weren't just looking at me."

This time, her voice was right behind his head.

Looking upwards, the back of his head was nearly close enough to rest on her.

"I saw you looking at me."

His eyes were wide in surprise.

In confusion, he wondered:

"…How did she get behind me so fast..?"

Grinning, her sharpened shark-like teeth unveiled themselves.

"Could ya help me with this stupid test?"
