1 Prologue; Millions of years ago

There's a saying that love can heal anything, but does that hold true for demons too? 50thousands years ago, a heavenly fairy fell in love with the devil king. but who would have thought that they ended up like that?

Shengtian Qianli, Memory Forgetting Bridge.

With a disappointed and grieving look, Heavenly Emperor stared at Naihua. He wished he could defy the cruel heavenly rules, but he was powerless. They were on the Memory Forgetting Bridge, where the heavenly soldiers glared at them with hatred.

Naihua shivered as she stepped onto the rocky bridge. She could only see the thick fog, but she could smell the rotting flesh of the animal skeletons that scattered on the bridge. She heard the howling sound of the wind, as if it was coming from the depths of hell. She felt a surge of fear and regret, knowing that once she crossed the bridge, she would forget everything. She looked at Ming Guan.

"You dared to love the Devil King," the Heavenly Emperor accused, Ming Guan's voice echoing across the eerie bridge. "Do you plead guilty?"

She felt the blood on her face and hands, warm and sticky. Tears blurred her vision as she looked at Devil King, lying motionless on the ground. He had sacrificed himself for her, and she had failed him. She turned her head to the west, where the sun was setting. The sky was in fire with red and orange, She whispered, her voice hoarse and broken, "Never. I'm not."

The Heavenly Emperor's heart clenched with a mix of frustration and tension, a storm brewing within him. His voice, though loud, carried the weight of his inner turmoil. "Do you presume I'll spare you simply because you once saved me?" His words boomed, laced with frustration and an undeniable sense of conflict.

Through tear-filled eyes, Naihua offered a faint smirk, her voice strained as she spoke. "I didn't save you seeking your kindness or reward," she uttered, each word accompanied by a torrent of blood. "It was my duty to the heavens then, and it's my duty as a lover now. I renounce my fairy existence; it's a curse, it's a curse for me to born as a fairy in this so called heavenly realm. End it, end my life, just kill me." Her plea, broken and pained, spilled forth amidst the crimson tide from her throat.

The Heavenly Emperor, consumed by anger, could muster no other response. "Fine!" he spat, his tone laced with fury. "If you won't plead guilty, then I shall grant your wish." His words, heavy with resentment, echoed across the bridge, signaling an impending decision.

The Devil King who was unconscious, he regained his consciousness and opened his eyes, but everything was a blur. He tried to focus, but all he could hear was a faint whisper. He reached out his hand, hoping to touch her, but he failed. He was motionless, trapped in his own body.

The Heavenly Emperor's voice was cold and stern. "You have betrayed your duty as a fairy of Shangtian Qianli. You have broken the rules that bind us all. Do you have no remorse for your actions?" He raised his hand and sent a blast of golden light towards the Devil King, who lay wounded on the ground. The heavenly soldiers followed his lead, unleashing their spells at the fallen enemy. They wanted to erase him from the three realms, once and for all.

Naihua sprang to her feet and ran towards the Devil King, ignoring the pain in her legs. She threw herself in front of him, shielding him from the barrage of light that came from the Heavenly Emperor and his soldiers. She felt the heat and the force of the spells, burning her skin and pushing her back. She clenched her teeth and held on, determined to protect him with her life. She loved him, and she would not let him die.

She looked at the emperor with a hopeful expression. She pleaded with Ming Guan "Please, have mercy on my beloved Ah Yue. You can take my life however you wish, but let him live for me.I have only one wish, I want him to live for me."

Blood trickled from Mingyue's mouth as he fought to stand, his gaze fixed upon Naihua with blurred vision. "Nooooooo, Little Flower Spirit, what are you saying? Are you crazy?" His desperate shout echoed in the tense silence

Naihua responded with a serene smile, tears glistening in her eyes. "Ah Yue, please, listen to me," she implored, her voice carrying a quiet strength amidst the chaos.

Mingyue refused to hear her words. "No, no, you don't have to do this,"

"Without you there's no reason for me to live. I can't survive without you, little flower spirit," his voice strained with raw blood.

While they were arguing, a flying shining object came from the north and turned out to be the supreme king's assistant, Li Jing. With a fan in his hand He always carry it, He said to the three of them, "Stop, Your Highness. Sorry for troubling you. I've got a message from the Supreme king." Bowing humbly as he spoke.

The Heavenly Emperor wore a subtle expression of reassurance, offering a soft "Mmmm," lost in contemplation.

Addressing the Emperor, Li Jing inquired, "Your Highness, regarding the latter?"

Curious, the Heavenly Emperor responded, "What does the message entail?" his interest piqued.

Li Jing said, "Your Highness, the Supreme King said that the Devil King Huo Mingyue loves Fairy Naihua, and it has changed his heart from bad to good. Although it is a good sign, if they continue to love each other in this life, they will give birth to an Ultra Devil child who will be born emotionless, gaining the power of Hell Fire that the Moon Tribe uses by sacrificing emotions after reaching a certain age. But once it is born, it will have the power of Hell Fire since birth and no one will be able to control it. This would be a great headache for the three realms. So,"

the heavenly emperor furiously asked, "So what? So,we need to push them into the memory loss river? right?"

Li Jing sighed a little bit and said to the heavenly emperor, "Your Highness, you've got a great brain though, but it's not the right time for a joke, I guess!" gently urging the Emperor to consider the gravity of the situation.

The Heavenly Emperor cleared his throat with a cough while acting proudly and asked Li Jing to proceed. "Continue," he commanded, eager to hear the rest, though his demeanor betrayed an underlying tension.

Li Jing continued reading, his voice steady. "Your Highness, so, Fairy Naihua is destined to endure three lifetimes across the three realms, facing various trials and tribulations. The Devil King, however, is exempt from these hardships; because he is the true immortal who cannot die [a legend in three realms, but who knows if he actually a true immortal or not?], his task is to patiently wait for her. It is the Supreme King's punishment—a mandate for them to part ways in each life. Yet, if the Devil King can rekindle her love in the three realms, they can be united forever, akin to the eternal moon."

The Heavenly Emperor, donning a mix of confusion and reassurance, pondered aloud, "Is this truly a punishment or rather a reward?" His face reflected both uncertainty and a glimmer of hope, contemplating the complex nature of the Supreme King's decree.

Li Jing chuckled, his tone light as he replied, "You honourable Highness, that's a question for you to pose to the Supreme King. As a low-ranked immortal, I'm not privy to the high-ranking kings' and emperors' decrees. Haha!" His words carried a hint of amusement, acknowledging the limitations of his understanding and position.

Hou Mingyue and Naihua gazed into each other's eyes, feeling a mix of relief and sorrow. They were happy that they could finally meet and love each other freely, without any restrictions or obstacles. But they were also sad that their meeting time was too short, and that they had to endure long periods of separation. They had to wait for hundreds of years for every reunion, and the first one had taken fifty thousand years. Mingyue whispered to Xiao Naihua, "I will wait for you until..."

He wanted to say, until the day he dies, but he never finished his sentence. Naihua silenced him with a gentle kiss, pressing her soft, red lips against his. It was a kiss of farewell, a kiss of promise, a kiss of love. The Heavenly Emperor and the Supreme Lord's assistant, who were watching them from a distance, closed their eyes with their hands.

After the sorrowful good-bye kiss, Naihua held Huo Mingyue's hand tightly, as if she didn't want to let go. She looked into his eyes, her own eyes filled with tears and love. She said, in a soft and trembling voice, "Ah Yue, you are the best thing that ever happened to me. When I was with you, I felt alive and happy. You showed me the beauty of the moon, the stars, and the flowers. You made everything brighter with your presence. I loved being with you, more than anything. Even though I'll forget you, I will always miss you. I will miss your handmade pastries, your night stories, and your warm embrace. I will miss you, Ah Yue, with all my heart."

Mingyue held her tightly, as if he wanted to keep her forever. He replied, with tears streaming down his face. Little flower spirit, "I will miss you too, more than you can imagine. Meeting you was the greatest thing that ever happened in my life. My moon, i don't know how will I be able to live without you."

Naihua looked at Huo Mingyue with a gentle and loving smile, trying to comfort him. She asked, in a soft and sweet voice, "I know it's hard for you, but isn't it a good thing that we can love each other in every life I get reincarnated?"

She added, her voice holding a mix of hope and uncertainty, yearning for a reassurance of their future connection. "I will wait for you in the mortal realm, how will you find me?"

Huo Mingyue gazed at her with a tender and passionate expression, feeling a surge of emotions. He answered, in a warm and sincere voice, "It is a good thing, my little flower spirit. You are the only one who can make me happy. You are the only one who can make me feel alive."

"I will find you, no matter where you are, no matter how long it takes. I will always recognize you, by your eyes, by your smile, by your scent. I will always love you, with all my soul and heart."

Naihua pleaded Mingyue to come early, "then try to come early, okay? will you?" Her request, filled with longing, held a trace of hopeful urgency, seeking Mingyue's commitment amidst their imminent parting.

Huo Mingyue gripped Lanhua's hand tightly, tears brimming in his eyes. "I'll come early, I promise," he vowed, his voice laden with emotion and determination, striving to offer her comfort.

In the middle of the conversation, Li Jing said, "Love birds, it's time to say  good-bye." His words, gentle yet firm, signaled the impending end of their poignant exchange.

The heavenly emperor said "Yes, clear this place as soon as possible, Huo Mingyue. I won't allow you in heavenly realm." The honourable Heavenly Emperor also added sternly, " Your presence in the heavenly realm is forbidden," his tone resolute, signaling the finality of their departure."

Naihua let go of Mingyue's hand, and in bloody clothes, she stood up and started walking towards the bridge of forgetting.

Mingyue can't bear to see her going to the bridge, so he stoods up and tries to hold Naihua's hand and hug her, but Naihua lets go of his hand and starts to run towards the bridge.

In a fervent cry, he exclaimed,. "Nooooooo, nooooooooo, Naihuaaaaaa, Mingyue tried to catch Naihua's hand by running, but at that moment Naihua turned back and said, "Ah Yue, I love you very much. Take care of yourself when I'm not around. Don't drink too much. Good night." Their exchange, filled with emotion, echoed through the somber surroundings.

Huo Mingyue and Naihua's keyword was saying good night, day or night; even when they got angry or moody, they used to say good night instead of saying good-bye.

Desperate, Huo Mingyue implored, "I'll find another way, please don't leave, little flower spirit." His plea, tinged with desperation, sought to delay their inevitable separation, expressing his yearning for her presence.

Naihua turned around and looked at him with a sad and beautiful smile. She recited a poem that expressed her feelings for him, her voice soft and melodious. "月光如水,洒在花上. Parijat flower, sprinkled with moonlight. 你我相见,一刻欢畅. You and I met, a moment of joy. 时光如梭,难免分离. Time flies, separation is inevitable. 相思如火,期待重逢. Longing is like fire, looking forward to reunion." She said, her eyes shining with tears and love.

She then jumped off the bridge, her hair and dress fluttering in the wind. She wanted to end her life, to escape from the pain and the fate that separated them.

Huo Mingyue shouted and cried, seeing his beloved person go through the pain of separation. He loses his consciousness with such a terrible injury that he can't take any trouma and separation with Naihua.
