Brought To A New World

(High School)

"Welcome to hell you little shits" A young man with long blonde hair and the body of a Greek God yelled as he walked into Classroom 14. He had a sick smile on his face, his shoulders seemed to reach for the sky.

The blonde young man's group of lackeys shuffled in behind him trying to be as intimidating as possible. Quiet laughing spread out from the arriving group, staring at everyone as if they owned everything.

Standing at the front of the classroom, hands behind his back and head held high, the blonde young man seems to stare straight into everyone's eyes. His lackeys lined up by his side.

After having his fair share of intimidating the group of students in Classroom 14, his eyes seemed to linger on a boy in the corner of the classroom. The boy looked younger than most, "Probably some shit who's taking advanced classes" the blonde young man mumbled to himself.

Feeling self-conscious for his lack of brainpower, he walked forward slowly. Every time he walked by a student, they put their head down, some even shivering.

A chuckle escaped his mouth as he stood in front of the boy's desk, staring condescendingly at him.

Grabbing the boy's hair in his hand, he pulls and forces the cornered boy to stare into his eyes.

Completely disproportionate to his expectations, the boy stared right back at him. His dull golden eyes not moving one bit. His breathing was completely steady. "The fuck you doing?" The dull golden-eyed boy said wacking the intruding hand out of his hair.

Wide-eyed and with a predatory smile, the blonde young man gave the dull golden boy a crisp slap to the face.

Pushing him to the ground, placing his foot on the boy's chest the blonde young man said "Do you fucking dare resist?" a cruel smile still plastered on his face.

Luckily at that moment, a teacher walked into the class. "Lucas, what are you doing?" A middle-aged woman said as she looked at the peculiar scene.

Lucas the blonde-haired young man, wiped the smirk off his face and quickly helped up the dull golden-eyed boy. "I'm sorry Mrs. Johnson. He fell from his seat so I came over to help him up." Lucas said, afterwards he quickly wiped off the boy's slightly dusty clothes and found a seat in the back of the classroom.

Mrs. Johnson slightly nodded at what she heard, "Welcome to Advanced Algebra, as you all know my name is Mrs. Johnson. I will be your teacher this year" Walking to the chalkboard behind her she wrote her name.

Done, she turned and looked at all of her new students for this year. 18 students made up this class of advanced algebra. 'Less than last year' she said to herself. Taking a peek at Lucas she sighed and shook her head. 'I guess he failed last year, huh?'

Reigning in her thoughts Mrs. Johnson announced, "First I want to get to know all of you, how about we start with all of your names?" Pointing at a girl in the first row she gestures for her to go first.

The girl stood up straight, her brown hair slowly transitioned to blonde at the tips. She had dark blue eyes with faint green surrounding her pupil. Smiling she said, "My name is Grace, I hope to get to know everyone this year!" She said excitedly, though a small frown formed on her face as she thought back to Lucas's arrival.

Student after student introduced themselves as the teacher gestured to them. Eventually, Lucas and his gang stood and introduced themselves, then finally the dull golden-eyed boy stood. He stared at Lucas then brought his attention to Mrs. Johnson.

"My name is Skyler, I just moved from Alaska, I hope everyone can take care of me this year."

Skyler sat down, moving his ear-length brown hair out of his face. He stared at his desk as Mrs. Johnson started introducing what they would be doing over the year.

Shaking his head he brought himself out of his thoughts and listened to what Mrs. Johnson had to say.

"This year we will be reviewing what you all learned in algebra II and trigonometry, then transitioning to the new material given to us by the state. Given the difficulty of this class, we will be givin..."

Ring Ring Ring Ring.

Halfway through Mrs. Johnson's introduction, the fire alarm went off throughout the whole school. Gesturing the students to stand and evacuate, a line was quickly formed and the students were led out of the building by Mrs. Johnson.

Walking down the hallway, smoke could be seen rising to the ceiling. Weirdly enough they were the only group visible in the hallway.

"What's going on?" mumbled Mrs. Johnson as the group quickly evacuated the school. Exiting the building the group of students and Mrs. Johnson were baffled at the sight that greeted them. Hordes of goblins, some holding torches, others holding small daggers and some with bows stood in slightly neat rows as they surrounded the group of students.

Further out a jungle seemed to surround their school building, giant hundred-meter tall trees covered up everything around the student and teacher group.

"Holy Shit" Lucas cursed as he stood at the back of the line with his gang. Staring back at the school building, it was covered in bright red flames.

Grace who was standing at the front of the line, shivered, feeling the gazes of almost half the goblins land on her. Hyena like howling erupted from the horde of goblins. Their 'neat horde' fell apart after a taller goblin standing at the back yelled signaling for the goblins to charge.
