'Would Nan believe me? It was evident that Nan was completely immersed in the appearance of a woman in love and was probably considering marriage with Zhang Liang.' Xia Xin pondered.

BEEP! BEEP!

Xia Xin's phone rang, indicating a friend request from an unknown person.

Without much thought, Xia Xin could already guess that it was from Zhang Liang. She could not understand what Zhang Liang wanted this time.

During their university days, Zhang Liang relentlessly pursued Xia Xin, so she deleted him as a friend and blocked all his accounts and phone numbers. She never expected that this man would still appear in her life after graduation. He was like a lingering ghost.

Xia Xin took a deep breath and accepted the friend request. Suppressing her anger, she texted, [What do you want?]

After a few seconds of silence, Zhang Liang's message came through, [You know what I want.]

Xia Xin was speechless. She replied, [Well, forget about it!]

Once again, Xia Xin deleted and blocked Zhang Liang's account.

Back in Xia Xin's bedroom, Layle, who was drinking water, immediately stopped and walked towards Xia Xin, wagging its tail. Its eyes looked at Xia Xin with confusion, as if asking her what was wrong.

Although dogs could not speak and did not possess human-level intelligence, they were actually very smart and could sense changes in their owner's emotions.

Xia Xin patted Layle's head and forced a smile. She said, "It's nothing, just encountered a very annoying person."

'Forget about Zhang Liang for now. I should focus on my work.' Xia Xin thought.

As for Zhao Nan, Xia Xin could try to find an opportunity to hint at the issues with Zhang Liang and hopefully make Zhao Nan realize it.

Back at the zoo, Xia Xin had been keeping an eye on Bao's condition. After several days of psychological treatment, Bao's condition stabilized, but it still did not want to go out into the open area.

Li Li advised Xia Xin to pay more attention to Bao when she was not busy.

On this day, after feeding Pipi and Dodo, Xia Xin went to the panda house to see Bao. She found Bao still huddled in a corner by itself.

Xia Xin squatted down, slowly approaching Bao, and used the Beast Language System to communicate with it. "Bao, do you remember me?"

Bao froze. For a moment, it thought it had misheard, 'How could this human communicate with me?'

Then Bao looked up with his round head, his eyes filled with confusion.

Xia Xin smiled and said, "Bao, don't be afraid. Nobody will splash water on you anymore. The weather is nice today. Would you like to go outside and bask in the sun?"

Upon hearing Xia Xin's words, Bao drew his two front paws closer to the corner, clearly refusing.

Xia Xin did not give up; instead, she continued to approach Bao. With the passive effect of the Beast Language System, Bao did not resist her approach much, but it still did not want to go out into the sun with her.

"Bao, the person who hurt you is just a few bad people. But many people in this world love you. You are not an unloved panda. Many uncles and aunties care about you." Xia Xin explained to Bao using language that pandas could understand.

Bao raised its head in confusion. After a long time, it let out a weak voice in response to Xia Xin, "N-Nobody likes me."

Xia Xin felt heartbroken, but seeing that Bao was willing to communicate with her, she felt a bit relieved. She continued, "How can that be? Look at this."

Xia Xin turned on her phone and scrolled to a video posted by a blogger. She clicked on the video, and Bao's figure appeared in it.

Before Bao's incident, it did not have much popularity, but there were still people who loved him. Every time they visited the zoo, they would specifically find angles to film Bao and document his growth from a cub.

Bao stared blankly at the video, seemingly unable to believe it.

After the video ended, Xia Xin smiled and said, "See, there have always been people who like you. So, do you want to go out and see? Perhaps those who like you are waiting for you outside?"

Bao hesitated for a long time, nervously rubbing its two front paws on the floor. Finally, it agreed.

Xia Xin's eyes lit up, and she carefully picked up Bao, walked through the corridor and cave, and arrived at the outdoor area.

The sunlight outside was indeed great, and the leaves of the trees were shining brightly from being exposed to the sun.

Sitting on a large rock with Bao in her arms, Xia Xin pointed to Pipi and Dodo playing not far away. "Bao, that's Pipi and Dodo. Do you want to play with them?"

Bao immediately buried its head in Xia Xin's embrace, clearly refusing.

At that moment, the visitors behind the railing were shocked and excited to see Xia Xin holding Bao and bringing it to the outdoor area. They whispered in low voices.
