meeting the chief

Lola followed behind zero, she looked down at his hide shorts.

"you Don't by any chance have extra clothes?"

she asked tilting her head.

zero looked back "you think someone as small as you can fit my clothes?"

he asked.

"if you can fit into my clothes I'll give you an old pair of pants I have." he said before laughing.

"good luck small kitty."

she raised a brow, her cat ears pinning back. she felt slightly embarrassed but, walking around naked was worse for sure.

she followed him until she saw a large wall, she had to tilt her head all the way back to see the wall.

it appeared to be made out of Stones, she glanced her head to the left then right.

it was extremely long, it must have taken a long time to complete it.

zero stopped looking at a guard before nodding.

"I am bringing in a lost cat, female.

she says she doesn't belong to any clan."

he said glancing back feeling her bump into his back.

she jerked realizing he had come to a sudden stop.

the guard looked over at her seeing if she was possibly dangerous.

she didn't seem to have anything on her, with her being naked it wasn't hard to see.

he stepped closer to her leaning right in her face sniffing her.

she felt her tail fluff up, she raised her hand to slap him.

he growled grabbing her hand before raising his body over her, his grey ears perked forward.

his grey tail raised trying to make himself bigger.

zero jumped in trying to calm them.

"his trying to see if you have any odd smells.

you said you're name was...?"

he said trying to remember.

"Lola!" she said looking at him.

zero nodded "yes Lola."

he said before looking at the guard.

"she's just frightened and probably exhausted. she isn't even a level 1, so don't worry about her."

he said.

the guard looked at him with a hard look,

before backing away nodding.

"you may pass but, be warned we are watching you in case you are a threat.

even tho you have no ranking we don't trust anyone easily.

unlike this idiot."

he said looking at zero.

zero nodded, "thank you for your service."

he said before looking back at Lola.

Lola looked at the guard with worry and confusion.

was this female really that naive?

she must have been sheltered, possibly even royalty?

she didn't look like it.

he walked ahead quietly thinking to himself.

she felt vulnerable to a degree, she looked around trying to take as much information in.

she heard voices snickering and laughing,

she saw females huddle together with small animals next to them.

she felt out of place here, not knowing anything about this world.

she looked around seeing dogs and, even other cat females!

some looked to be more wild than others.

bears, tigers, she was even sure one was a panther.

she blinked in shock before turning back to zero.

he must have been a horse, judging by his tail and ears.

zero felt her looking at him, he turned seeing her warm brown eyes looking at him.

he squinted his eyes at her, not truly sure what to make of her.

before saying, "we are heading to the outer edge of the castle.

we will be meeting the chief there."

he said pointing to the tall castle sitting not far off.

she smiled nodding "thank you. do you think the chief may have clothes I could fit?"

she asked.

zero couldn't help but to smile back nodding, she was so small compared to him.

they continued until they reached the castle, it looked old.

she looked at the big wooden doors feeling a little nervous, was he going to be like?

zero gently looked seeing a woman standing outside the door by water well.

he smiled "miss sunni! I have brought a lost stranger to come see you." he said pointing to Lola.

Lola blinked confused, was the chief a female!?
