Chapter 49 : Meeting Tie Feng

Soon, a knock was on the heard on the door. The staff's voice from earlier was heard as she said.

"Mr Wang Qian, Mr Tie Feng is here."

"Coming!" Wang Qian replied.

He then woke Bai Lian up before walking towards the door and opening it. He then saw an old man who seems to be in his 60's outside wearing a sleeveless T-shirt with a leather apron. The old man smiled at him.

"Mr Wang Qian, it's good to meet you. I wonder if I can come in and talk with you?"

"Of course."

"I'll be taking my leave first, may the two sirs have a good talk." the staff said before bowing and left. The door was closed as Tie Feng stood in front of the sofa without sitting.

"What are you doing? Just sit down."

"I can't my lord. I'll need to pay my respects first."

"Sigh, just do a simple greeting and sit down."

"Very well, good evening my lord and Princess Bai."

"Good evening, now can you sit down? It doesn't feel good for me to let an old man stand while we sit."

"But my lord, you're age should be much older than me."

"....I'm sorry, could you repeat what you said?"

"My lord's age should be a lot older than me..."

Just like that, the conversation came to a pause between the two men. Tie Feng didn't know was he suppose to sit anymore after that. Wang Qian raised his hands as he rubbed his temples.

'Ahh, my head hurts. I'm older than Tie Feng? But I look like I'm in my twenties though.... Hold on a sec, could it be...' he thought.

"Tie Feng, can you tell me when did the previous demon lord get sealed?"

"Replying to my lord, the time where the previous demon lord should be a few centuries ago."

"So, I'm currently a few centuries years old..."

"Exactly, my lord."

"....never mind, just sit down. Let's start talking about the important matters"

"Understood" Tie Feng said as he sat down on the sofa opposite to Wang Qian. Silence than prevailed again as he waited for Wang Qian to speak. 

"Um, let's start with the first thing. Can you tell me how many believers are there in this city?"

"Replying to my lord, there should be around 400-500 believers in our city. Most of them are C-rank adventurers and above while the rest are blacksmith specializes in making weapons that can be imbued with mana."

"So, we have our own blacksmith who can make weapons for us... Oh that's right! There's also this thing. Did Hua Yue told you about the communication orb containing the mana from the previous demon lord and that it has inflict a curse on you all?"

"Replying to my lord, Hua Yue did told me about it. Should I gather all of the believers right now? I've already told them about it, they should be ready to come and meet my lord at anytime right now."

"There's no need. We can just gather tomorrow afternoon. As for the location, you pick one. I'm not familiar with the city so just pick somewhere that can accommodate all of us."

"Understood."

It was then Bai Lian who was being quiet all along said.

"Papa, can we find a place to shower already? I wanna take a bath." she complained

"If so, why don't I bring my lord and Princess Bai back to the Spirit Fire's headquarters? I've already prepare a room that has the best view in it, and also has the best treatment compared to the other rooms."

"That's okay. Let's go the headquarters then."

"Understood, let me lead the way."

Tie Feng, Wang Qian and Bai Lian then head down the stairs and got out. Wang Qian pulled out his carriage as he and Bai Lian got onto it. Tie Feng's carriage was in front of them. They followed his carriage back to the headquarters.

It didn't take long for them to reach Spirit Fire's headquarters. The headquarter was like a big factory, just that it doesn't give off smoke. Instead, it has lots of buildings that serves different purposes. Such as the building for the trading between merchants, or the building where a group blacksmiths uses their skills to the fullest, making high quality weapons for the adventurers, etc.

Wang Qian placed his carriage at the horse pent, as he and Bai Lian got off from it. They then followed Tie Feng into one of the building that has 8 floors as they were brought to the top floor. He then opened one of the rooms. 

What entered their eyes was a living room with a big table on the middle while there was two sofas on each side of the wall. Wang Qian and Bai Lian then entered as Tie Feng followed in from behind and closed the door.

"This will be my lord's and Princess Bai's room. It has a small kitchen, two bathroom and a big bed. I hope my lord likes the room I picked."

"Well, I do. Does the kitchen have some materials such as vegetables or meat?"

"Replying to my lord, it doesn't. But I can order someone to bring it up for my lord if my lord wants to make your own meal, but we provide meals for the guest so my lord can just rest while waiting for the meal to be prepared."

"Does papa want to learn cooking again?" Bai Lian said.

"Yup, it's been quite a while since I've made a dish. All I've been cooking was that soup for the past few days."

"If so, I'll send a professional chef over to assist my lord in making the dishes"

"Thanks a lot. I guess we'll take a bath first. After that I'll bring Bai Lian out to eat dinner, can you tell me where's the dining room though?"

"Ah, my lord doesn't need to worry. I've ordered my people to come and wait outside to bring my lord to the dining room, they should be outside in around 1 hours."

"Okay then. Well, both of us are going to take a bath now."

"Understood, I'll be taking my leave then"

"Bye bye." they said.

"Well, you can go take a bath first. I'll wait here for my turn." Wang Qian said to Bai Lian 

"Okay"

Bai Lian then entered the bathroom as she started her session. Wang Qian sat on the sofa taking a small nap. After she came out, Bai Lian saw that he was asleep so she went ahead to wake him up.

"Papa, it's your turn to take a bath now."

"Hmm? Oh, you finish already? Hold on a sec, I'll be done real quick."

Wang Qian then got up and entered the bathroom. Bai Lian sat on the sofa like what he did just now as she waited patiently. Suddenly, a knock was heard on the door. The person outside then said.

"Is Mr Wang Qian there? I'm tasked by Mr Tie Feng to bring you and your daughter to the dining room."

Wang Qian then replied from the bathroom

"Could you wait for a few minutes? I'll be done soon."

"Understood. I'll be outside here waiting for you."

Wang Qian quickly got out and changed into his clothes before bringing Bai Lian out of the room. The servant outside quickly got ready as he brought the two to the dining room..
