"Whoa it's real" As I saw the status screen, I noticed some irregularities. ' Wait... (Create a dome of shadow. It disturbs opponents' mana, making it hard for them to control mana and cast spells. It decreases the opponents' movement speed. The caster can move through the shadow and hide in the shadow.)

Excluding me, only two people have my first innate skill, the Emperor of the ocean, the one is Jadel's mom. She is a mermaid. The shadow dome skill is created by the second patriarch of the Wayner family. He is the strongest patriarch of the Wayner family ever had, Because his innate skill Emperor of shadows he can manipulate shadows however he wants, Shadow Dome, it's inferior version of his innate skill with 30% of power. You can't perfectly copy an innate skill, but you can make inferior copies using the understanding of your innate skill.

It's a novel about the protagonist trying to stop the demon king who is invading Earth, a cliche plot. The mc of the novel Asher Blake got the system when he entered a mysterious dungeon. Later revealed that an unknown entity gave the system to mc, to defeat the demon king.
I didn't fully read the novel. I dropped it when the demon king's army wiped 60% of humanity. Not even high level demons entered to battle and still lost 60% of humanity. If that mysterious entity is not blocking the High level demons.
" I heard a spoiler saying that mc defeated the demon king but after that he also died, the last human on earth. If that happens my survival rate will be zero with this almost crippled body
"Thinking about the future doesn't get me anything. I need find a way to get stronger
And a way to treat my mana veins" thinking all the possibilities i slowly closed my eyes

Three hours later, the nurse from yesterday showed up in my room.
" You don't have problems with walking right." I nodded to her question " good follow me.'' she said and slowly walked out of the room. I got up from bed and quietly followed her.
After some twists and turns we arrived at the lab for body checkup, where I saw the doctor from yesterday. I didn't get the time to ask his name. ' Might be busy.'
"Cadet Jadel, do you feel any discomfort in your body?" he asked as he saw me. I shook my head " no, i don't feel any discomfort in body"
"Good, let's get started." he said, gesturing to the capsule-shaped object on the left. I approached the capsule cautiously and went inside.
The capsule slowly closed. " I will release some substance to enter your body, don't resist it." I nodded. Suddenly the capsule filled with yellow smoke. I panicked a little but composed myself. Some rays of light scanned me from head to toe, after the scanning finished once again smoke filled. This time the smoke was different. It calmed my body and I felt soothing warmth inside me as my muscles felt relaxed.
After some time passed, the process was over. The capsule opened up slowly. Exiting the capsule I was approached by the doctor, he said with a small smile "your body is completely fine, i can't find any poison in your body. You're free to discharge now '' I nodded in response and asked him.
" Doctor is there any way to heal my mana veins" he nodded in response nodded
"There is, but getting it will be close to impossible.Only life elixir can heal the mana veins, but you know it's hard to find and only come through tower of protection. Even if the elixir came, the Big families would do anything to get it, you know it right, it can also increase the rank much faster of the hunter who consumed it. I looked around like a kid that saw Disneyland, the people looked at me like I'm crazy, but I didn't care about that. It's my first time seeing anything like this, unlike everyone that lives here. ' I saw the memories of Jadel but it felt like a seeing a movie, but seeing it in reality hit differently'
By the time I got to the dorm, it was getting dark. The academy students wandering around and discussing their experiences. Some students who saw me looked at me, their gazes of curiosity and wonder,
' Well I have been in a coma for four weeks so they should've thought I died in that dungeon. Can't blame them around 30 students died and there lot's of gravely injured students.'

I suddenly felt a chilling gaze on my back turning around I looked who is that but I couldn't find that person, feeling uneasy I rushed to where my room is located ' it might be some student that Jadel offended.'
As I reached the room I sighed in relief. Opening the door I entered it. It doesn't have any face scanning or fingerprint scanner. Only I can open the door, it was designed that way because if someone tried to attack you in a hallway you can enter the room immediately, and the attacker can't open the door. If you wanna break the door you need to be at least B rank. That how tough it is.
Closing the door I quickly walked to bed. That's when I noticed a small fish bowl and a blue fish in it placed on the desk, close to the bowl was mysterious black box.
' I can't remember seeing the fish and box there.' I walked cautiously towards it. Suddenly the fish talked.

"Kyaaaaa" I screamed like a girl and fell to the ground. Instinctively i summoned twin dagger from my watch ready to attack
