There weren't any incidents since then. Rumors would fly around that the palace had been busier than ever since they are trying to get to the bottom of this. Despite being powerful beings, they still thread cautiously since nobody knows just what Matthew had prepared.

"I know it's not my place to ask but... Why are you here again?" Gideon watched as the prince of this world is eating the pastries he had intended for himself.

"Do you keep forgetting that the deal was for me to visit here so I can check up on you?" Kaiden raised an eyebrow.

That deal was that he is allowed to stay at his home now but he will be sent a guardian to observe his actions. It just so happened that person was the Prince and he brought paperwork with him. Intending to work here while he observed Gideon.

"I know but I thought I was already cleared of suspicions?"
