"Tobias?" Gideon looked at Kaiden for an answer

'Was there a name like that in the original novel?'

"Tobias Pierce, Alchemist. He used to be my classmate"

"You took alchemy?" Gideon randomly blurts out and Kaiden couldn't help but chuckle a little.

"It was an elective and that's how I ended up being classmates with him. He's an asshole sometimes but he's fine. He was the top in our class and he continued taking the course"

Kaiden continued to talk about his school life. He mentioned a few more names and some of them were familiar to Gideon. It was either he read it in the past or the fact that person was one of the known names in this world.
