Training Oneself to become the Emperor

"Haa!"

A sword slash left a deep mark on the tree trunk. Standing in front the tree, Lucas stood while holding a sword in his right hand. His body is soaked with sweat, the hand that holding the sword is shaking, he tried to moves again, but ended up falling to the ground due to how tired he is right now.

Lucas has been training himself since dawn. There's no way that he will hang about while the goblins are training hard. He must give the goblins a good impression of how the man that will lead them look like. Aside from that, how can the Emperor who will lead the non-human be weak? If he doesn't have the strength, then there will never be someone who will follow him. He must have the strength to lead and protect his people.

Lucas sighed, a screen only visible to him showed up in front of him, it showed the status of Lucas' right now after the training he had done.

The [Cultivation Method] is something new that just popped up right after he gained [The God of War] last night. Is he somehow going to turn like the main character of those Chinese novel that he read on earth? If so, then isn't it awesome? He will be super powerful that even Gods must bow down before him.

Of course, with his strength right now he can never make the Gods fear him, not even make them notice him. He's still an insignifact person in this world, but that will change later, every corner of this world will hear the name of Lucas Faraday, the Emperor of Monster.

Lucas stared at the mark on the tree trunk. His strength has improved a lot, but it still doesn't mean that he's strong enough to fight againts anyone in this world. He maybe considered strong by the goblins, but that doesn't mean he's strong againts the adventurer or the likes. He can only find out how much he's improved at the battle later.

"Still, being strong feels good, should've gone to the gym when I'm still on earth."

The goblins never expected for them to be trained this hard. They must climb trees, crawl through the mud, and fight monster without help. The strange weapon that Lucas given them is sharp enough that it can cut a through boar hide without much difficulty.

They've been taught how to use one of the new weapon called Shuriken and Kunai. It's a throwing weapons often used by the ninja back in the old Japan. Now, who would've expected that the goblins would use it?

The [The God of War] cultivation method that Lucas have made him have a basic understanding of all weaponry and how to forge them. He showed the goblins how the ninja would fight. He told them that the ninja are just weak people before—just like these goblins in front of him.

Lucas also told them stories about ninja. How they taken down the strongest samurai lord at that time. Using only weapon that deemed unusual by the people back then.

One thing that the goblins learn is that the ninja never revealed themselves. They probably work as a farmer at day, but at night, they turn into something that the samurai fear.

Rekin are the fastest one to improve, he's able to master the weapon that Lucas give pretty fast. Lucas only needed to explain once and Rekin are able to use them after given some moment. It made Lucas pretty envious of Rekin fast learning, but it's good because Rekin will be the one that will lead this ninja goblins to battle.

Oh he just can't wait to see the fear in their enemy eyes when they realize that the goblins has become so strong.

Two months passed, the goblins have improved so much that you can say they're completely different than before. The excessive fat in their belly are gone. Replaced by some muscles that definitely fit them. They also matured and no longer plays around like when they started their training before. Their gazes are sharp, they look ready to kill anyone that dare to intrude their village with bad intentions. But to truly see how much they improved, they still need to wait for one month later, where they would be tested by the Chieftain.

Lucas stared at the group of goblins in front of him. His strength definitely improved too. It's probably enough to call it decent in this world. He tought that it would do for now, he just needed to focus at the goblins now and train himself again later.

"Today, is the day that your training has ended. You are now not the same as before. Every single ome of you will be the one to protect your village. You will be the one to end this endless suffering that the Gods has brought upon you. You are the one that will tell all the humans—that it is time for the goblins to fight back."

Every goblins cheered at Lucas speech. Even though it's not very good, all of them understand what Lucas is trying to say. Nevertheless, they all now have the abilities to protect themselves and their families.

Lucas smiled and looked at the sky. He still have one month before the human invasion at the goblins village began. He will use that time to travel around and find out how does the human city work. Is it going to be like those in Japanese fantasy novel where there will be an Adventurer Guild? If so, Lucas wanted to join just for fun. He doesn't have much to do and he need to find ways to earn some money anyway.

He can establish a mercenary company. But just using the goblins is not enough. He probably will try something more peaceful, something less dangerous, perhaps opening shops? Lucas wonders how will the resident of this world react to the cooking from his world.

"I say, eating sushi right now would be nice, wouldn't it?"
