The System

Lucas slowly opened his eyes as he regained his consciousness. His head still throbbing with pain after he got hit in the head by those three goblins. What the hell just happened? Did he just seriously gof hit by goblins? Is this for real?

Lucas tried to move his body, but he realizes that he was tied up by a rope, preventing him from moving any further. He looked around, it looks likes he's trapped in some kind of prison, the bars are made by wood. Do these goblins doesn't have tools made from iron? Thinking about that, he remembered that the goblins that hit him before doesn't seems to have a weapon made from iron. At most it was made from either wood or stone.

Was he somehow must lead this goblins later? Lucas doesn't understand, how can he lead this goblins when he tried to talk to them they'll just straight up hit him? He doesn't even know if this goblins understand human languange.

Aside that, look at their weapon, Lucas can see the goblins guard standing right outside his prison cell. They were holding sword made out of stone. It looked sharp, but it definitely can't pierce armor made from iron or the thick hide of a beast. It makes him wonder how they survived this long.

Oh, another voice in his head, this time the voice seems kind of monotone—like an A.I or something—perhaps it actually is an A.I that somehow get inside his head?

[I am called 'Monster Empire' system, my goal is to help host achieve his goal so he can build an empire for all non-human race. The system works like an RPG system in host previous world. It will also give host a better understanding of what to do to establish an empire.]

Of course, Lucas still doesn't understand a single thing, he didn't even listen what the system was saying to him. He was to busy checking out the panel that popped out in front of him the moment the system come up.

His luck is just three!? Sh*t, no wonder he's having such a bad luck in earth back then. He's luck is only three. That is beyond ridiculous.

Oh, of course, another 'shocking' reveal. He's not even stronger than a children? Is this because the physical constitution of his world and this world are different?

[Yes, the host is right, the average strength for an adult is 20 to 25]

"And how am i supposed to increase my stats?"

[The host can try and do various task to increase stats. But to gain skill and skill point, the host must complete a certain task from the system, learn it from other, or you can make a skill yourself]

This is a little bit complicated, with his strength, how is he supposed to complete the system task? He would just die instantly, even if the host give him the easiest mission, it's probably gonna be a difficult task for him.

[Because the host are in a dangerous situation, the system will give some help to the host, use this power carefully]

Suddenly, Lucas felt stronger than before, his mind became clearer, Lucas realised that this is the help that the system mentioned before. Checking his stats again, Lucas was surprised at what he found.

So, this is the feeling of being strong? No wonder people trains in martial arts or do some workouts, having strength does feels pretty good.

Lucas glanced at the rope that's binding him, with just a little bit of effort, Lucas freed himself and stand up from the floor. Looking at the wooden bar of his prison cell, he punched the wooden bar, breaking it with one punch. The two goblins that are standing guard outside of Lucas prison cell are surprised to see Lucas freed himself from his captivity.

They swore that this human are not much stronger than a normal human child before, but how did this human suddenly become so strong? What is happening!?

Panicking, one of the goblins attacked Lucas, but the movement that the goblins made seemed so slow in Lucas eyes. He just dodged by sidestepping to the right to dodge the attack. But in the eyes of the goblins—Lucas moves very fast—not as fast as those master that the elder told them in stories. But it's still pretty fast.

"Now, let's talk properly and not use violence."

Bot of the goblins stared at Lucas confusingly, but luckily they didn't attack again. Even though Lucas is not using any weapon, who know what will happen if he punched with his whole strength? Won't these goblins would be killed instantly?

The sounds of footsteps are heard from the outside. It's not just one, but a lot of them, the goblins outside must've heard the commotion inside the prison. So they send reinforcement to help the guard control the situation. All of the goblins reinforcement clearly didn't expect that it was Lucas who is the source of commotion. All of them remembered that he was weak before, but why is he so strong now?

"Stand down." Said one of the goblins, commanding the other goblins that are already eager to charge at Lucas.

"Who are you?"

Even though Lucas looked calm on the outside, he's actually shocked on the inside. He can understand what are these goblins saying? Aren't they supposed to have their own language? Does the goblins on this world talk in human language?

"My name is Lucas," Lucas introduced himself, his emerald eyes staring at the goblins leader. "I'm here to help you."

"You? Help us? Ha! Like we will believe in that, how many times do you think has the human kind came to our village and destroyed it? How many do you think that our kins have died? We will be an idiot for trusting you."

"I knew you would say that, but believe me—i'm actually here to help you."

Lucas walked slowly to the goblin leader. Even though the goblins are short and only reached his stomach, they're pretty muscular. If they have proper weaponry, armor, and training, perhaps they would be a fearsome soldier.

"I know that it has been hard for you this whole time. You swore to protect the one you love but you're powerless againts your enemies that is clearly stronger than you. You tried everything, but it still failed in the end. Every single, one of you, lives in constant fear. Do you want to live like that?"

All the goblins stood still after hearing what Lucas says. Lucas was right, these goblins always lived in constant fear due to the human always attacking their village. Lucas can see it in their eyes, the sadness within, it made him sad for some reason. Everytime he plays an RPG game, there is always a mission to destroy a goblins or an orcs village, Lucas always feels good when he finished massacring the goblins and orc.

But he never thought the consequences of what he did. Yes, it's a game, but he can't help but to think about it. These goblins wanted to live in peace, just doing whatever they want to do in their lives. But his kind—the human kind—decided to come and destroy everything. They kill, they loot, they destroy everything that the goblins had.

Many of these goblins lost their loved one. Lucas even see some of them cried a little. Then he glance at the leader, he looks like he's thinking about something, so Lucas just stand and watch until they snapped back to reality themselves.

"How are we supposed to believe in you? How can we know that you're not lying? How can we know that this is are not one of those schemes that the human have?"

"I myself have seen what people really looked like. They're disgusting, backstabbing and ungrateful bastard. I hate the humans—not all of them—but most of them."

Lucas suddenly remembered what happened before in earth. His bestfriend snatched his girlfriend. He remembers it very clearly. For a moment, anger surfaced in his heart, but he quickly calmed himself down. He can't be angry right now, the matter of taking revenge will come later. He must take care of this goblins first.

"You can start believing me after seeing what i will do to you, take me to your Chieftain, we can start from there."

The leader of the goblins reinforcement nodded. He told his men to give way for Lucas so he can leave the prison. The leader himself walked in front of Lucas and lead him to where the Chieftain lives.

'When i become the Emperor, i swore i will come back to earth and show you what have i become. You liked people who is more rich and powerful than me? Then let's see about that after i conquer this world—and earth next. '
