[SHORT FLASHBACK]

A knock from the door caressed Dominic's ears, making him glance at it. Seeing Dane stepping into the office, he set his eyes down on the document he was reading.

"I brought the files you asked of me, sir," said Dane as he put down the files on the desk. 

Dominic didn't respond nor did he react. He simply kept his eyes on the document where he was writing some pointers without saying anything. When another minute had passed and he sensed that Dane wasn't leaving, he slowly looked up. 

"Why are you still here?" asked Dominic, glancing at the clock on the side of his desk. "Clock out. You don't have to wait for me."

"I already clocked out, boss." Dane casually propped his side against the desk, crossing his arms under his chest. "I did it before bringing these files to you."

"Then why are you still here?"
