Misidentified brother, not husband.
Heaven was hopeful that things would return to normal. The past several days appeared to be heading in that direction. However, when she returned to the office, things were strange. The odd and curious gazes from everyone had returned, continuing throughout the day.
At first, Heaven thought it was only in her mind. It was her imagination. That was impossible. Everyone should have already moved on from that ridiculous rumor, only to find out the reason for the company dinner.
"Pepsi, I heard your husband came by the office."
Heaven, busy blowing on her soup, lifted her eyes to Belle. Deep lines appeared between her brows, confused.
"Huh?"
"Come on, Pepsi. You don't have to be shy," one of her colleagues chuckled playfully. "Your husband is just as good-looking as you mentioned. I think you two suit each other."
"That's right. He's quite tall, but is he a foreigner? He's a bit tan. No offense. He's handsome."
