21 Isn't that right, Hubby?

Axel Zhu. Was the second and youngest of the Zhu siblings. Considering his spot in the family, Axel was truly a spoiled little master growing up. Unlike his older sibling, Axel had a lot more free time exploring things.

He was a carefree man, pursuing a career his parents couldn't help but frown on. Despite Axel's bold and wild personality, he was surprisingly close with his family. He was especially close with Dominic, looking up at him as if he was his role model.

With that on the table, the current Heaven already guessed her relationship with her brother-in-law. She didn't even need to go through her memories thoroughly. All she had to do was take a glimpse and already knew how bad it was.

Heaven's unforgettable memory of this man was when he offered to drive her somewhere. Heaven obviously refused, but somehow, at that time, Axel's offer was the most convenient action, so she accepted it.

What happened next traumatized the original Heaven.

Axe drove as fast as he could once he hit the freeway, ignoring Heaven's pleas to slow down. She nearly even had a panic attack, but Axel simply looked at her with cold eyes. Since then, Axel would take any opportunity he could to sabotage her.

'Well, I can't blame him. I would even do worse if I was in his shoes,' Heaven thought, mentally massaging her temple while pretending to eat her food with her husband and brother-in-law. 'Obviously, Heaven didn't know that. All she cared about was how this guy secretly bullied her without even considering Axel was simply making her taste her own medicine.'

Axel pretty much found out about Heaven and Dominic's setup. He also knew how she was as a mother and a wife. Someone like him wouldn't stay quiet, but he did for Dominic. Still, he couldn't stomach it. Thus, his only way to express his dismay was to treat Heaven the same awful way she was treating his brother and nephew.

"Congratulations," Axel said, breaking the silence between the three of them. His gaze snapped at Dominic, who was sitting across from him, while Heaven was beside her husband. "Did you tell Grandma about the divorce? She'll probably disapprove of it, but she'll eventually accept it," he said flippantly.

"Who told you about that?" Dominic asked in a sharp voice, making Heaven slightly raise a brow.

'He didn't tell him?' she wondered, assuming Dominic and Axel were close enough to tell each other's secret.

"The CEO of the LYON Group of Companies is going to have a divorce. Anyone would know about it," Axel said, shrugging. "I also heard Basti is staying with Mom and Dad temporarily. So, anyone can put two and two together."

Axel leaned back with his hands on the edge of the table. "For sure, that was the reason Grandma fainted. It's good that the news reached me before Mom and Dad. Or else I'm certain they will do everything to stop this divorce."

He slowly veered his eyes to Heaven. The indifference in his eyes was distinct, not even trying to conceal that contempt in them.

"I do not know who you heard that news from. But you should stop listening to that person. Heaven and I are not divorcing."

Axel slammed his hand on the table causing the plates to clatter. "What nonsense!?" his furious voice rang when he heard Dominic's monotone reply. He jumped out of his seat and looked at them. "You're not filing a divorce?"

Dominic frowned, glancing at the man standing across from him. "Are you that happy that your brother's family is breaking apart?"

"Brother, what the?" Axel scoffed, almost rendered speechless. He then pointed at Heaven, startling her. "That woman is just — you deserved better, bro!" he said indignantly.

'So he knew I was here all along, huh?' Heaven mentally sassed. 'I thought he was half-blind.'

"Axel," Dominic said his name in a reprimanding manner. Yet the young man continued with his words, uncaring of who would be hurt in the process.

"This woman hadn't been a wife to you, let alone a mother to my nephew! She did nothing but cause trouble — she is the reason this family is falling apart! She's hopeless, brother. I'm not happy about the divorce, but now? Should I even consider it as good news? Should I be happy about it? Should I throw a party even?" he asked, outraged on his brother's behalf.

"Axel Zhu," Dominic's voice turned surprisingly cold, not liking how insulting his younger brother was. The atmosphere around the dining table dropped just by the tone of his voice. "Heaven is still my wife. Whatever you say to her is also directed at me. Do not ever disrespect her with or without me. If this happens again, I will guarantee you, you will not like what I'd do."

Axel could not believe what he was hearing. He pressed his lips together, while his hand balled into a tight fist. His eyes blazed with unspoken words. But he held himself back, out of respect to his brother.

'I'm touched, that he defended me, but at the same time, I'm on my brother-in-law's side,' Heaven sighed inwardly, scratching her temple with the tip of her pinky. 'I've caused enough problems in this family. I hate how I have to explain myself about things I shouldn't have and fix the relationships I didn't ruin. However, to live as Heaven and this new life, I need to keep up appearances.'

The divorce was postponed thanks to the opportunity that suddenly landed on her lap. But that wasn't the end of her mission. The delay wasn't even the first step because her life in Heaven's body was just starting now. This was a challenge that she had to undertake.

"Axel is right," Heaven chimed in, breaking the building tension between the brothers. "Dominic deserves someone better."

Dominic slowed and turned his head to look at her while Axel smirked at her. Heaven though maintained a composed look.

"However, the problems of our marriage are for us to fix. Whatever problems may it be, you do not have the final say in it," she continued in a firm voice, keeping her gaze locked with Axel. "The divorce is mere hearsay. In fact, Dom and I are planning how to make things better for the three of us. Perhaps another baby? You, butting in, isn't helping at all."

"Fix?" Axel said and scowled in disbelief at the nonsense this woman was spewing. "What nonsense are you saying now? Another child? You can't even hold the one you have now!" he shouted.

"Believe it or not, I don't care what you say," Heaven looked at Dominic squarely in the eyes and said, "After all, I didn't vow to spend the rest of my life with you, but to him."

Dominic's brows drew together at the sudden look on her face. This was something that he had never seen before.

The corner of Heaven's plumped lips curled up, smirking coquettishly, and then she playfully remarked, "Isn't that right, Hubby?"
