"I feel like we are not getting enough customers today, what's happening? Did another coffee shop open nearby?" Sydney complained to Ellie after observing the low number of customers that they were having today. 

She can certainly count the amount of customers that have visited the shop since morning and up to this afternoon, and they were not encouraging at all. 

"Hate to break it down to you, but every day isn't Christmas, Syd"

"Ugh" Sydney rolled her eyes, she really didn't need to hear that from Ellie. It wasn't encouraging either at all.

"What about your new boyfriend? Didn't you say that he'll be coming over to the shop today?" Sydney suddenly remembered Ellie telling her last night about Arthur paying them another visit again, and she didn't waste time asking her about it. 

To be honest, she just wants to make fun of her about it, if he happens not to make an appearance here today.
