Chapter 6: Rose and Ryan in Jail
After hugging Mom and Mom-I mean Mom and Dad we eat a feast with Rose and Ryan.
When we are in the table there I only notice a boy with black hair and blue eyes. I look at him, he looks like Dad, is he possibly my brother?
Sensing my gaze he look at me and our eyes met, he quickly averted his gaze and he turn red.
'Is he angry at me because Mom and Dad's attention is on me?'
"This is your brother Luciana." Dad said.
"Luciana?" I ask. That is a beautiful name.
"Yes dear. Your name is Luciana Celestia Eclipse Harvort." Mom said.
"That's a-" Mom cut me off.
"-beautiful name. Of course its beautiful I am the one who name you." Mom compliment herself.
'I agree that its beautiful but its long.' I thought.
"Yeah its beautiful and long." I commented. "What is your name?" I ask brother.
"I am Cean Waning Xavier Harvort." He said.
"Thats also a long name. What are your names Mom and Mom? I mean Dad?" I ask them blushing in embaressment.
'I cant believe I call my Dad Mom.'
"Oh hehehe, I am Spacia Scarlet Harvort." She said while chukling.
"I am Gray Gabous Harvort." Dad said.
"Sorry Im late!" Someone shouted. I look towards the voice and see a girl. She is beautiful. She has a black hair and brown eyes. She is not my sister, I knew it because of her eyes. Mom has black eyes and Dad has blue eyes, her eyes are brown.
"My name is Lily Light Harvort. I hope we can get along." She said smiling but the smile never reach her eyes. Now there is one thing in my mind, this girl is fake.Tsk. Her name also ring a bell. I wonder why.
"Oh, Nice to meet you. Are you my cousin?" I ask curiosly. Although she is fake I can only be nice to her. As long as she doesn't do anything on me then I won't do anything. Her last name is Harvort but this girl is not my sister so she can only be my cousin.
"I-I am your sister." She said timidly.
I gasp in my mind, she is my sister? Wait, I can gasp in my mind? Im a legend!
"You are? But your eyes are brown and Mom's eyes is black." I ask her again.
"I am your step sister. I-I am adopted." She said.
"Oh, then why didn't you said it in the first place?" I ask her innocently.
"That... I am shy." She mutter.
"You dont have to be shy. Do you know a saying 'gaze back where you come from?' You should be proud where you come from no matter where it is. "I said. Its true though, you shouldn't be shy where you came from, you should be proud of it.
"Oh, then Ok." She said taking a seat next to me.
We started to eat and when I am going to pick up a spoon there are so many spoon to choose from, from a big one to small one. I dont know what to choose so I just pick the normal looking one because we're gonna eat rice. For the fork, I just choose the same size as the spoon. After choosing I awkwardly stare at Rose and Ryan. I can't stare at the others because that will be rude so I just look at Rose and Ryan, I am also familiar with them.
When Rose see my gaze she stare at the spoon and fork that I'm holding and she nod indicating that I choose the correct one. I smile at her, silently thanking her.
I sigh in relief on my mind and start to eat.
After we eat our plates change for dessert. The dessert is......*drum roll*..... Cake! When I am going to eat I stare at the forks again and contemplated what to choose. The big, the normal or the small ones?
In my past life when I eat cakes I use fork but its the normal size one. On the book that I read, when they eat cakes they use the smallest fork. What should I pick. I stare at the small ones and the normal size one.
"Sister, are you having a hard time?" After Lily ask that question I pick the smallest fork and take a bite at the cake.
"What?" I ask her after gulping the cake.
"Oh nothing."
"Ok then." I said and continue to eat. No one reprimand me for using the smallest fork so I guess Im fine.
After we eat Rose and Ryan have to go home. "Goodbye Aunt Rose and Uncle Ryan. I am going to visit you in your home."
"That..."
"What's the problem?" I ask them sensing that there is something wrong.
"We are going to be in jail." Ryan said.
"What? How-how long?" I ask them.
"For 1 year."
"Then I'll visit you in there. I will also take foods with me." I said hugging them.
"Sister aren't you gonna stop them?" Lily said.
"Stop them from what?"
"From going in the jail" she said.
"Why should I?" I ask her.
"Because they took care of you." She said. I look at her silently then I chuckle.
"They kidnap me and this is what they want."
"Yes, they kidnap you but they take care of you for 6 years. They shouldnt be in jail."
"Lily you are so.... stupi-I mean naive. I dont know how you survive in this society for 1 year." I commented.
"I dont understand you." She said.
"They give me back in here and they know the consequences, they take care of me and they can ask credit for that. They can also make up stories that they just found me and not kidnap me so they will not go in jail, but they didnt. They are guilty so they let it be, if I just save them from going in the jail then they will just be guilty more." I explain.
