Chapter 12: Learning Etiquette
I eat the dessert after confiming that it does'nt have any poison on it. I think that I have a trauma about desserts with poison. Anyways, its early in the morning and I am sitting in the dining room with my family. Everything is fine, I also don't care if I am the Villainess and I am contented eating my sweet dessert until Dad has to say it.
"Lucy, you will have class." Dad said.
I stop, frozen. Class? Class!? What will I learn? Nursery rhymes? Plus? Minus? What!? Those things that kindergarten learn! I am 18 years old not 6 or 5! Oh yeah, I forgot. My body is a 6 years old child. I don't want to learn those, I already know those things.
"What will I learn father?" I ask calmly despite my jumbled thoughts.
"Etiquette and some things you should learn." He replied, taking a sip at his coffee.
Ettiqutte and Blah Blah Blah? I will learns those things not Mathematics or anything? I guesse this will not be so boring, atleast I will learn things that I don't know.
"Ok Dad," I said. I go back to eating my sweet dessert happily. "When will I start my classes?" I added.
"After you finish eating. Change your clothes to a presentable one," Mom said.
After I finish to eat, Sella accompany me back to my room. I change my clothes to a color Lavender one. Sella then, tie my hair into a bun and decorated it with flowers. I am still wearing my key bracelet. I never take it off unless I need to, and I never need to take it off so I never take it off.
I go in our living room and see a woman sitting gracefully at one of our sofa. Mom and Dad saw me.
"Lucy, this is your tutor, Miss Olivia." Mom introduce her to me.
"Good morning Miss Olivia. I am Luciana Celestia Eclipse Harvort, nice to meet you," I said with a curtsie.
In the game Miss Olivia is Luciana's tutor, Luciana is great but since Lily is ahead of her, Lily is much experienced than her. Lily is really ahead of her because Lily has been in the noble society for 1 year. But Luciana is Luciana and I am me. I will trample over Lily because I want to.
"Nice to meet you too, Luciana," She greeted me back.
"Please, you may call me Lucy. Luciana is too long. " I sit in one of the sofa, the fluffy one.
"Okay, Lucy."She said. "When can we start?"
" We can start right now." I said.
"Ok, then please lead me to our room."She said.
A maid lead us to a room. The room is big. There is only 2 tables and chairs in it. One for her and one for me.
"Sit." She said.
I sit in one of the chairs, my back is straight and my feet is on the floor. My hands are folded in my lap. The right way to sit. I learn this position while watching movies and reading books in my past life.
"Very good. Now stand properly like this." She show me.
I stand up, my back is straight my tummy in. I held my head high and up. Miss Olivia get some books and put it in my head. "Walk."I walk while keeping the books in my head. I try not to let them fall. My walking are kind of stiff but relax. I never did this in my past life.
The books in my head fell. I pick it up and go back from the start. I did that in a few minutes until my feet and neck hurts.
"Rest first."she said. "Now we will learn first about the value of different sizes of the utensils use in eating. "
She explain to me about why the spoon is big. Why it is small. We use that in that, we use this in this. Blah blah blah. She talk and explain a lot of things, then we get into the last topic, speak correctly.
"Now, when you speak, you should address the person you're speaking with Miss or Mister. You can also address them Lady or Sir. You can only address them by their names when they said so. Do you understand?" She said.
"Yes, I understand," I said.
"Now. Our time is up. Tomorrow practice your walking and please memories pages 1 to 10, only the important. Goodbye Lucy." She said.
"Goodbye Miss Olivia, be safe."I said correctly.
After she left I melt in my chair and realeas a big sigh. I hate etiquette and mannerisms. You have to do everything right, correct and with manners. But I have no choice, if I didn't learn those things then I will be viewed as an improper lady and I will bring shame into my family.
I go back into my room walking while there is a book on top of my head. She said to practice so here I am practicing. I manage to reach my room without a book falling.
I put down the book in my table and sit in my fluffy cloud sofa. Now that I am learning those etiquette and blah blah blah I can pick my own servants now. In the game Luciana pick her own servants the day after her lessons. So I guess that tomorrow I will be picking servants.
