1 Chapter 1: Moonlight Eyes
Day one
On the house of richness of the family pack of IrisMoon there were lots of squealing noises from having a big blast from the 18th birthday of their second heir for being a female alpha. She was a very beautiful and stunning girl around her age but very talented at all things she got interested in. Even though she's very good at those things like being a perfect or ideal girl, she still has downsides that she kept hiding from others outside the pack. Her name was Frizabelle Marshall and this was her story on how she found a mate that has an irritating scent for her picky nose.

"Getting bored, princess?" A Butler-like girl asked me while I was staring out at the crescent moon at the balcony area while the other members of the pack were having fun.
I sighed.
"You do know me that much huh." A lame reply came out from me.
"We've been friends since we're kids." She chuckled as she patted my shoulder.
I chuckled.
"But sooner or later things around you will turn upside down, princess." My butler told me then she left me as she waved her hands.
I smiled as I looked at her walking away but something caught my attention. There was a weird scent of sweet chocolate but something grossed with it – blood.
"THERE WAS A VAMPIRE ON THE TERRITORY!!!" three omega guys warned everyone which put them in alert mode.
My father might not be buff like the other alpha in some neighboring pack but he's definitely strong enough to be an alpha. He ordered my mother, who was his wife, his luna, to take all the kids and some omegas underground for their safety. As for me, I just hid myself at my hiding spot at the attic but for some reason I can't because of that irritating scent from somewhere.
I'm pissed off right now that made me stay in the living room for a moment while they're kept on hunting around the perimeter of the house and the territory. I'm getting bored. I went to the kitchen to get some ice cream to help me cool down. My favorite chocolate mint ice cream specially made for me.
I kept eating the ice cream until I heard some growling outside the house.
"Seems like they're home…" I mumbled and kept eating.
I took a peak for a while as I kept holding the 1 gallon of the chocolate mint ice cream.
Outside, I saw some beta in their full form while some omega were standing and growling over a stunning beautiful girl in her wedding dress but they were torn also she was covered with mud and blood. They're circling her and she's so damn weak to fight her but the more I looked at her – I'm getting irritated because her scent was sweet like a colorful cotton candy.
"LET'S KILL HER, ALPHA!" someone on the omega shouted at my father but he didn't answer but he just stared at the girl as he walked toward her.
My father raised her right hand as his claws started to show off and ready to kill but my mother interrupted my father from doing so.
"Honey, she was ready to die for some reason…" My mother said with her usual kind and soothing voice that made my father calm.
"LUNA!" one omega shouted behind my father but he stopped him.
"Let her." My father said with her Alpha voice.
My mother won't be just a luna or being a mother to everyone without having such enough understanding toward any trespasser in our pack. Not to mention that my mother was really simple and beautiful but as she walked closer to the filthy girl, she kneeled just to see the girl's full face. I couldn't see from this distance. I groaned and went back to the kitchen so I could continue my feast on the ice cream peacefully. Yet, I could hear them talking…
"What are you doing in our territory?" Mom asked the vampire girl.
No response for that girl which made me feel that she was being rude.
"Answer please." Mom pleaded.
"Heh, your kind…as you can see from my dress I run away from my groom who I don't even love." She replied with a chuckle in her voice.
Did she just chuckle responding to my mother? She pissed me off but good thing the ice cream was able cool me down a bit.
"I see then how about family? Your parents?" Mom asked her.
"I'm alone. I was sold without my consent by my master at the bar where I'm working as a musician. Well, things happen when you're a vampire slave." She replied to my mom with pain – no I don't have time to pity her for that!
"I see...honey, I'm going to take care of her." Mom firmly decided that was addressed to my father.
"WHAT?! Are you insane, she's a vampire." My father growled but still in control over his rage.
"Honey…your voice." My mother growled back but more dominant than to my father – the Alpha no wonder how she became a fearsome Luna of our pack.
Oh my! Mother really knows how to be tough over father. Even to me she gave me shivers though I'm just listening to their conversation.
They went inside and my mother took them to the kitchen to get some food for her while she treated her deep wound on her left leg. She stepped on some traps around the perimeter that were set by some hunters for the rouges.
"Seriously baby…" my mom said as she saw me eating the ice cream – 1 gallon of chocolate mint ice cream.
"I want to chill." I replied as I took a bite until I felt her gaze fixed on me. Then here goes the sudden brain freeze.
I glanced back to meet her gaze – her eyes were so beautiful and mysterious. It felt like I'm lured and lost to it. I was on my daze and I'm getting weak on her crystal grey eyes then I heard some howling behind my mind. Just by looking deeply within her eyes, I heard a loving howl woke up from seeing her.
"SERIOUSLY!" I suddenly stood up from the high chair and glared at this vampire girl.
There it goes for another howl that pissed me off. I hate it. So irritating.
"Baby, are you okay?" my mom asked me as she finished treating the vampire girl's wound.
"Nothing." I replied but I'm still glaring at her while her reaction was so damn cute from being in shock.
I like that reaction but hearing that howling deep within me was really not so good idea to come out right now. It's totally irritating as well her scent.
"DARN IT! SERIOUSLY!" I was too pissed off then I ran off without minding my dad was calling for me.
I slammed my door room then went to my balcony to feel the breeze onto my skin – wew! Finally, I could breathe from them.
"Seriously, now my wolf suddenly woke up from her slumber?" I hissed to myself while I gazed up to the full moon night. But then, another voice spoke to me which made me scratch my head.
'She's yours to claim.'
"Lena…I don't like her." I mumbled to myself to my wolf.
'You can't escape from it. Even without me – you already collide with her. Like it or not, she's yours to claim before the other does. It's more painful than you thought.'
Lena, my wolf side explained to me that it made me more irritated.
"Stupid. She's not a thing to be claimed." I was pissed off but at the same time wondered why it has to be a vampire and it's a girl. Lena laughed at me.
"SESH!" I shut her from my thoughts then changed my clothes before going to bed.
In my deepest dream, I found myself in a peaceful place where the beautiful full moon shines brightly which it reflected on the lake. I was so happy to the point of making me remove my clothes and run toward the lake to take a swim. After a short while, I sat down on the shore gazing up at the moon naked until I smelled someone was here with me. I smelled sweet yet deadly chocolate that made me look up at the tree behind me. From there, I saw a figure of a lady with glowing eyes. The shadow jumped off the tree as she noticed my gazed and walked toward me – I was about to run away from her but I slipped all of the sudden yet an unknown cold arms wrapped me that prevented me from falling.
"Clumsy." She said with her husky voice that gave me a shiver down to my spine.
"I'M NOT CLUMSY!" I snapped from her arms that made me fall for good this time. I hit my butt on the ground big time.
"Sorry." She apologized as she lent out her hand and helped me up.
I almost forgot I'm naked. I covered myself immediately that made her chuckle from my panic state. Then she removed her black coat and covered me up. Her coat was covered with her scent - sweet chocolate but there was something more which I couldn't pinpoint what was it.
"Sniffing my coat?" she asked me so innocently that made me blushed in an instant.
She giggled sweetly like it sounded like a smooth wind chime into my ears. I glanced onto her and when our eyes met, she stopped from laughing and there I found her stunning moonlight eyes – I meant it was crystal grey that shine like a moonlight at night.
"Moonlight eyes…" I mumbled to myself that I never thought she could hear them.
"My eyes have never been compared with moonlight." She chuckled as she said as I'm lost for words – speechless mode.
Silence filled between us until she threw some rock on the lake that bounced three times then she sat down on the ground. I did the same, I sat next to her from there I caught myself staring at her that made me look away immediately. She smiled at me as she stroked my wavy brunette hair to the back of my ear. I met her eyes that were already locked onto me. I felt my face getting hotter on her gaze fixed on me.
"Ahmm…" I'm about to say something but she gave me a peck onto my forehead.
I was indeed caught off guard that made me blush instantly and my heart beat faster than I never felt before until now, with her – a vampire. I wanted to push her but I didn't, she just stared closely onto my eyes then smiled.
"I like you. But I can't do anything more than this. I don't want you to feel uneasy around me." She told me with her lovely husky voice that really sounded like a lullaby onto my ears.
I nodded with a smile. She chuckled then hugged me closer to her chest. From there I heard her heart beat so clear – it was beating so fast but the sound of her heart next to my ears put me at ease. I felt so secure and safe. I'm comfortable with her arms around me. I like this feeling. But it suddenly changed when I felt somebody was shaking my body. I don't want to wake from this dream.
"Wake up now, my queen." She whispered to my ears that made me shiver, then woke up from my sweet and comforting slumber.
Day 2
Now, as I open my eyes I'm back to the reality where I'm going to meet the same face but my irritation.
8 am
"Why can't a dream come true with her?" I mumbled to myself as I stretched my both arms and legs before jumping off from the bed not minding my girl butler slash cousin Yume preparing my clothes while I went to my bathroom to shower.
After a while, I went downstairs to hear some laughing voices from the kitchen. I was intrigued by who made this pack laugh. I took a peek for a sec then there I saw her entertaining my mom and two omegas named Ronald and Zack who've been watching her since last night. I tried to hide my presence like I always did then I listened to her alluring voice as she sang to them. I know the song and it hit me.
'I told you she's yours.'
As I heard that from my wolf, I ignored her even though my heart was pounding loud because of it. Then I heard her chuckle.
"What's wrong dear?" my mom asked her.
"Nothing, I just felt the princess woke up." She told my mom that pissed me off.
"How can you tell, she's quite not a morning person." A teenage voice the same age as me giggled and his name was Ronald – his my cousin and an omega.
"My instinct, I guess." She replied as she shrugged her shoulder.
"Tell me something truthful, dear…" My mom might have sounded calm but it was serious.
I bet she nodded to that because I didn't hear any reply from her.
"Do you fancy my baby?" Mom asked which made me clench my teeth – I'm totally irritated now and she just chuckled.
"The truth…I like Lena…" She replied to my mom that made me wonder how the hell she knew Lena.
I took a peek again and I saw Mom was really looking at her carefully which made the two omegas on alert mode because of that response.
"…and I love my queen." She continued that it seriously really hit my heart – she has the same voice like in my dream.
"Your queen?" My mother asked in confusion and curiosity.
"Yes, Luna. But my queen didn't accept me because she was a wolf from your pack." She replied with such honesty in her words.
I was really touched over it until I was cut off by my butler from eavesdropping.
"Princess, what are you doing there? I thought you were hungry?" Yume asked as she walked passed by me, which made the people in the kitchen surprised apart from her.
They all looked at her in awe because she could tell that I'm already awake – seriously, I won't be able to hide my presence whenever she's near. Anyway, I went to the kitchen not minding she's singing another song entitled Love Me Like You Do by: Ellie Goulding while she's cooking some heavy breakfast.
"How long have you been there?" Ronald asked me that made me glare at him and he looked down as a sign of being a submissive one.
I saw mom in her puzzled gaze that made me sighed.
"Don't ask, Mom." I mumbled as I took a seat next to my mother. Then exactly she gave everyone a meal apart from me that made me groan.
"Frizabelle." Mom hushed me.
"Chef, hurry up." I told her that made her smirked then served me my favorite food. I mean it was totally complete; 6 bacons, two sunny-side-up, 2 wheat bread, one cup of garlic fried rice and chocolate-mint juice. I'm starting to drool from these meals she served.
"Mom?" I asked mom if ever she mentioned them to her. Mom shook her head as well the others that made her chuckle.
"They didn't tell me anything if that's what you wanted to ask them." She confessed to me that made me frown and irritated at her. I hate her!
I growled to her that exactly my father and my other two cousins, Beta Ethan who's mated with Yume and Nate who always been my sweet little brother to me.
"Something smells good here." Dad said while he's been covered with sweat then kissed my mom but she shoved him.
"You stink. No food for you." Mom told him that made him frown but this vampire-girl gave some food to him.
He glanced at them like it was poisonous then met her gaze who was having this gratitude smile on her face. It irritates me a lot. Then my father took some of it and ate them.
"By the way, I didn't ask your name." Dad mentioned as he ate the bacon sandwich.
"It's Celestial Ceres but you can call me Ceres." She said while picking up some dirty plates. She looked like a chef and maid by now.
"I see, Ceres. When your wounds are okay, you can leave. You know to yourself you can't stay here." Dad used his calmed yet Alpha voice.
She nodded. It pissed me off just seeing that gesture of hers and of course it made me slam my fist onto the table then glared at her. She just smiled at me.
"THAT'S IT! I'M GOING FOR A RUN." I shouted for some reason that made the others confused apart from my mom who seemed to know the reason.
I was indeed pissed off and when I was about to leave, unconsciously, my head slightly tilted like I'm smelling something. Surely, it was because of her scent, a sweet chocolate tainted with blood that made me look back just to glare at her again then left.
"Be careful on your way…" she said with a simple smile on her face that really irritates me – BIG TIME. She whispered something to her mind that gave me Goosebumps and was stunned for a sec then stumbled my feet out to the garden.
When I left them I still could hear them talking about me being her queen – well I don't care anymore, all I do care now was some run.
"How could I hear her thoughts?" I mumbled while I did some perimeter run around our territory.
Ceres
"Be careful on your way, my queen." I whispered to her before going off for a run. I didn't say it but I can't help it but to tease her – I like her pissed and irritated reaction anyway.
When she left, I felt a glaring gaze from the Alpha and awe reactions to others but to Luna, her mother giggled. I blushed in an instant then they asked me non-stop but one thing caught me.
"So you really fancy my baby?" Luna asked me as I felt fluttering feelings within my stomach that made me caught off guard but composure is a must. But she just laughed at me like she could read my mind.
"I welcome you to our family." Luna said that made Alpha look at her with confusion.
This was really weird…maybe Luna can read me just like an opened book.
"Oh honey, she's your daughter's mate. No wonder why Frizabelle is acting like that since you came here." Luna chuckled as she explained that to her mate.
Oh…am I now? Hmm that's explained it – why I like to tease her in some ways I like.
The Alpha didn't like the thought of it but what else he could do – breaking the mate thing was the worst thing you ever do even in the vampire clan happened it too. Killing mates can make the other fell into darkness and some lose the sight of life until they die. If you're asking how I got to know something like that, well, I witnessed a lot of things from my 500 years of living but this was the first one to me. Seriously, the mate thing was new to me.
I'm willing to win her over but I won't do such a forcing thing but I also won't like it if I'm so damn far away from her. But she mustn't know I'm serious about her. This was a tough challenge for me that the Moon Goddess put me through.
