Leon El Crimson

Standing atop a mountain of bodies that continuously released streams of blood, the figure of a young man who seemed to be in his early twenties could be seen looking at the bodies underneath him with a slightly sad expression on his handsome face.

The place he stood had cracked reddish soil that extended far into the horizon with a few dry trees that were devoid of leaves

"It was necessary." He said, taking in a deep breath to calm the rising guilt in his heart as he ran his eyes through the wasteland.

He might be the villain but he was not someone who could kill innocent humans without remorse and the fact that they were being controlled made him feel even worse.

"I see you finished them off, Leon."

A deep voice that seemed to carry dignity and valor echoed through the barren wasteland as the figure of a man draped in golden armor appeared in Leon's line of sight.

Clap... Clap... Clap...

"You truly deserve the name Crimson, the Harbinger of Death." The man praised after giving Leon an applause that sounded a little bit mocking.

Resting his hand on the longsword that was sheathed by his waist, he said with disdain evident in his tone. "But I expected a vampire not a fellow human like myself."

To him, no human except for his master was stronger than him and Leon wasn't an exception even though he had heard how Leon's strength was hyped.

"Do I know you?" Leon asked, jumping off the corpses he added. "Or rather, who exactly are you?"

"Hahaha... Surely you jest. How can you not know me?" Laughing like he had just heard the funniest joke in his life, the man had a smile on his face as he looked at Leon.

Confused, the man asked while pointing at himself. "You do know me right?"

With his face rapidly contorting at Leon's silence, the man forcefully swallowed his bubbling anger as he said. "I'm Jace Rutherford, the strongest knight in this kingdom and Lady Vivian's fiance."

"Oh... That means you're Vivian's lackey." Leon said, looking coldly into Jace's eyes he added. "Now leave here or you'll die."

Having intense bloodlust radiating off every fiber of his being after hearing the name of the person who ruined his life, a blood-red aura that seemed to be his killing intent swirled around Leon's body.

"How dare you say that to me?!" Infuriated at Leon's words, Jace roared at the top of his lungs while unsheathing the sword by his waist.

Whoosh...

Akin to a gust, Jace disappeared from where he stood with his figure appearing right beside Leon and his blade a few inches from the latter's neck.

'Slow.' That was the only thought on Leon's mind as he watched Jace's sword approach him at snail-like speed.

Effortlessly dodging Jace's attack by moving his head a little to the side, Leon turned to look at Jace's eyes before launching his arm at lightning speed towards the latter's face.

Boom!

Landing a slap that broke the sound barrier while seemingly distorting space and letting out a shockwave that could kill a regular human, Jace's face was immediately deformed as his formerly handsome features became a mash of flesh, blood, and broken bones.

Whoosh... Thud... Thud... Thud...

"Blergh..."

Immediately launching through the air akin to a missile, Jace puked out blood from the large slit that was now his mouth while crashing into the wasteland's rocky surface.

"I didn't expect you to show up," Leon said, looking at the lady who had stopped Jace from crashing into the ground for the fifth time with her ability.

"It makes things easier."

As his voice echoed softly through the air, a small smile found its way to Leon's lips as he gazed at her pretty face through eyes that were filled with hate.

She had luscious black hair that cascaded down her back akin to a veil, silver-colored eyes that could steal the breath of all those who looked into them, plump juicy lips that would leave a lasting effect, amazing curves that would make even well-trained monks succumb to lust.

The black net-like dress she wore which had silver star patterns and thin layers of cloth covering her ample bosom and pink petal made her sexy body downright erotic.

Although this lady might be the prettiest woman he had ever seen he felt no attraction to her only hate as she was the wretch who ruined his life.

"You could at least welcome me warmly Leon. It's been more than fifteen years since we saw each other."

Thud!

Placing her hand on her waist, the lady made Jace's unconscious body fall on the ground akin to a rice bag.

"Just so you know your attempts aren't working," Leon said, looking at her as if she were some kind of tree.

"Besides, why do you wear such clothes? At your age, you should be in the grave since that's where most of your agemates are." With a serious air about him, Leon had a small smile on his face as he mocked her.

"Even though I know you're trying to annoy me you were still able to do it." The lady said through gritted teeth as a couple of veins appeared on her head.

Unresponsive to her words since he decided that they had talked enough, Leon unsheathed the sword by his waist before disappearing from his spot akin to a phantom.

Appearing behind her, Leon unhesitatingly swung his sword towards her neck like he wanted to kill her in a single attack.

"How can you attack a pretty lady with so much hate?" She asked, appearing about three meters away from Leon with a smile on her face.

Unbothered by his sword slicing through the air, Leon looked into her eyes and asked. "Why don't we stop playing around?"

"I know you want me dead but aren't you a bit too eager." She replied, licking her lips seductively as she ran her gaze across Leon's body.

"But... I also want to kill you very badly since you've already outlived your purpose." Grinning from ear to ear, she had a smile that could instantly arouse a weak-willed man on her face.

"Don't bother Vivian, it won't work," Leon replied, stopping Vivian's ability from seeping within him while swinging the sword in his hand like he was trying to get used to it.

"Sometimes I wonder if you're attracted to men since you're always unresponsive." Like a ghost, Vivian's figure materialized behind Leon as she began running her hands through his body.

"I'm straight it's just that I don't do people who are as old as my late grandmother. So I'm unresponsive to only you and other hags."

Grabbing her hand that had begun to roam his body firmly, Leon muttered in a bone-chilling tone. "And besides, I can't be aroused by someone who I'm about to kill."

"Damn you!!" Enraged, Vivian's pretty face got contorted to the point where she became ugly as she yelled akin to a mad woman.

Whoosh... Whoosh... Whoosh...

Seamlessly dodging the spatial blades she had conjured with a thought, Leon had a smile as he said. "Mock an old lady's age and she'll get mad."

Distancing himself from the mad woman who was attacking wildly, Leon stared at her figure for a while before muttering. "Conquer's Domain."

As his voice reverberated through the wasteland, a reddish aura engulfed his body as space around him rippled and swirled.

Every inch of his body buzzed with immense power as thick black bolts of energy snaked around his form, his medium-length black hair fluttered in winds generated by the power he now wielded and his red eyes glowed akin to that of a feral beast.

As if he wanted to build momentum, Leon crouched while putting his sword back into its sheath and saying. "Tyrant's Blade."

About a second after those words left his lips, Leon's already powerful aura surged as immense power coursed through every inch of his body further empowering his strength.

Placing his hand on his katana's hilt, Leon had a small smile plastered on his face as he watched thousands of silvery portals and other spatial abilities litter the evening sky.

Aware that the chances of him winning this fight were less than eighty-five percent, Leon unhesitatingly launched himself toward Vivian while subconsciously preparing himself for his death.

He was someone who became the villain without a second thought just so he could avenge his loved ones. He was a villain who helped those in need despite the hate he received. In short, he was an antihero who was proclaimed as a villain. He was Leon El Crimson.
