30 Chapter 30: Sad Magellan

After a fierce battle, neither Gion nor Tokikake lasted half an hour. It wasn't because they were weak, but because Luo Ning thought the clones were too powerful.

Actually, the clones had fantasy powers too, but they weren't all-encompassing. If Luo Ning imagined them fighting, he'd have to use his own power to break the illusion.

Of course, if he didn't fight, he could use the clones' fantasy to imagine terrible attacks he couldn't handle.

Just like Gremmy, who used his copies to imagine a horrifying meteorite destroying the entire Seireitei, and a vast amount of clones to imagine cosmic space.

This is terrifying. When fantasies combine, they can even create entire spaces. Unfortunately, Luo Ning can't do that yet. He can imagine meteorites, but not one giant enough to destroy everything.

Fighting two clones at once, he had to spread his power thin. He couldn't borrow their fantasy power either.

Even so, Gion and Tokikake were defeated in half an hour. They were basically punching air, getting hurt without ever breaking through the clones' defenses. It wasn't even a fair fight.

Now, Tokikake and Gion are completely humiliated.

"Damn it, I lost to a clone!" Gion slammed her fist down, furious. A strong woman like her, who clawed her way to the top, couldn't accept defeat by a mere copy.

Garp scoffed. "Lost? So what? Everyone loses sometime. You youngsters are too easily discouraged! Train harder, come back stronger. Remember when I fought Chinjao? I couldn't land a clean hit on his head. So I trained with Eight Mountain Fist until I could cave his skull in with one punch! Can't beat him now? Then train!"

Garp's words snapped them out of it. Veterans of countless battles, their spirits weren't so easily broken. They quickly refocused, determined to overcome this setback.

"This... Vice Admiral Garp, what should we do if you leave?"

Garp and the others were getting ready to leave. Magellan stopped them, pointing at himself and the prison staff. This is Impel Down. Marines can just walk out, but what about the people here? You can't just leave them .

"Why are you panicking? That kid just said he's settling down here, and he didn't intend to do anything in Impel Down. You guys should do whatever you want, just leave him alone!"

Garp grumbled. Magellan seemed fine, just a little uptight. He didn't mean any harm too, so let him stay here. Rules didn't matter much against someone that strong anyway.

The Marines on the ship had woken up during the fight with Luo Ning, and the call Den Den Mushi was working. Someone probably already told Sengoku what happened.

Even the fight between Gion and Tokikake afterwards was caught by the Den Den Mushi and sent to HQ.

Sengoku knew everything. Garp just had to play along for now. It was annoying, but that's how it had to be.

"But-"

"No but, otherwise you can find a way to deal with that little monster!"

Garp left without saying a word, and didn't bother to care about Magellan. Anyway, the words are put there, and the meaning is obvious; I can't help it. You have to handle that yourself. I won't accompany you.

Seeing the figure of Garp and others leaving, Magellan was about to cry. What the hell is this? Can you pay attention to this Impel down? This is the most closely guarded prison on the sea, and now an outsider is here settled down.

"Hey Magellan, any good builders around? I need someone to build a villa here!"

Magellan, on the verge of tears, flinched at the demanding voice. He sighed dramatically towards the sky, feeling utterly defeated.

The truth was, Luo Ning wanted to design a sea villa himself, but he just couldn't. The free points he had were only good for normal food, not things like construction.

Even if he could imagine it, the whole thing would vanish as soon as the fantasy was broken. He didn't exactly want his dream house to disappear on him in the middle of the night.

Meanwhile, Garp continued his conversation with Sengoku after leaving.

"Alright, I got the info. Get back quick, this whole thing's a pain. We'll talk more when you're here, can't explain everything over this damn Den Den Mushi."

Sengoku's voice kept buzzing on the other end, but Garp just nodded and hung up. Time for some food, his stomach was growling.
