"You didn't know what treasures this primitive planet holds.

The Mother Box sent a message; the highest technological crystallization of Krypton fell on this planet."

Kalibak was Darkseid's eldest son, but unfortunately, the Dark Lord did not like him and even forbade Kalibak from calling him father. He was also briefly killed for attacking his brother without the Dark Lord's permission.

He has always wanted to achieve something to impress Darkseid.

"A world engine that can freely set and modify the planet's environment.

There is also a central codex containing the genes of billions of Kryptonians, placed within the last surviving Kryptonian!"

The Mother Box also had the ability to modify the planet's environment. However, rather than modification, it was more like destruction, making the planet's environment so harsh that no other creatures could survive freely except for the parademons, the bio-weapons of Apokolips.

This allowed for the fastest conquest, but it consumed the potential for war that should have increased after conquering the world.

"My father, didn't he always want to have an army composed of Kryptonians, like the parademons?"

Kalibak's rough voice was filled with excitement.

"I will take over this planet and help him fulfill his wish!"

The power that Krypton possessed at its peak was feared by everyone, including the Dark God. If he could have a Kryptonian army like a the parademon legion, without thoughts or fears, to control, conquering the universe would have been within his grasp.

"Kryptonians?

There are actually Kryptonians left in the universe, on this planet?"

DeSaad's expression changed and he turned towards the other three people. The new god Mantis crossed his arms, his eyes flashing with cold and ruthless indifference. He didn't speak, like some inhuman creature, like a deadly reaper; life in front of him was only waiting to be harvested.

"So, you brought His Majesty's most powerful warriors with you to help you defeat the Kryptonians?"

Mantis is an energy vampire, feeding on energy, and possessing immensely powerful abilities to absorb and manipulate energy. Usually dormant in a charging chamber, he rarely ventures outside, and is generally not within the regular combat force of Apokolips.

"Where His Majesty's gaze falls, there lies my honor," he said coldly.

"On this planet, besides Kryptonians, there are unknown life forms, but that doesn't matter!"

Kalibak's expression is ferocious as he clenches his fists, like a fierce beast compelled to drink blood.

"Any enemy that stands in my way will be torn apart!"

"If you can accomplish this, the His Majesty will surely be pleased."

DeSaad nodded, turning once again to the Steppenwolf, his voice tinged with indifference.

"Powerful Steppenwolf, you could have stayed by the side of our great Emperor, serving alongside us. But you betrayed him, betrayed your family."

The original ruler of Apokolips, Yuga Khan, was the father of Darkseid. Steppenwolf is the brother of Yuga Khan's wife Heggra, making him Darkseid's uncle.

"I know the mistakes I've made, but I've also eliminated those who coveted his throne."

The Steppenwolf spoke in a deep voice.

Yuga Khan was obsessed with the secrets of the Source Wall and was subsequently trapped in it. Afterward, Apokolips was governed by Queen Heggra. Following Darkseid's order for DeSaad to assassinate his relatives for him and usurp the throne, Steppenwolf didn't support his own sister but became Darkseid's subordinate, clearing obstacles and managing all the parademon legions of Apokolips.

However, he later developed a rebellious spirit.

"I don't want to discuss what His Majesty has already decided.

You owe His Majesty fifty thousand worlds.

Only when you complete that task will His Majesty end your exile and allow you to return to Apokolips."

DeSaad pointed at him, making it clear that there was no room for argument.

"I will.

This world is unlike any other.

If I help Kalibak take it down, can it allow me to return under His Majesty!"

As the molten iron surged, the scent of iron and fire made the Steppenwolf deeply nostalgic for the taste of his homeland.

"Let's wait until you take down this world."

DeSaad finished his last sentence, shutting off the communication.

"Now we need the remaining two Mother Boxes!" Kalibak turns around.

"When the three Mother Boxes merge, there will be the power to cleanse the surface of this planet. Then we won't have to do anything.

First, summon the army!"

A sufficient number of parademon legions could provide them with considerable assistance.

Hum!

Amidst the roar, the Mother Box opened a booming portal linking to the other side of the universe. Countless parademon legions rush through the portal, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, even millions, as if there is no limit!

Any intelligent life remaining on the worlds conquered by Apokolips will be transformed into parademons.

The power of parademons may not be strong among the cosmic races, but what makes the universe tremble is their endless numbers and scale.

...

"Are you the legendary Amazons?

The Amazon princess?"

Inside a temporary base provided by Batman, the Flash looked at Diana, listening to her self-introduction. He felt like he was hearing a fairy tale, and his mouth hung open in astonishment.

"So, those gods are real too?"

Batman's eyes also reveal a hint of surprise.

Are there still terrifying hidden things in this world?

First, superpowers, then extraterrestrial civilizations, and now gods?

"The gods are indeed real.

It's just that they have departed.

I have only witnessed Ares, the God of War, with my own eyes."

Diana glanced at David, whose expression remained calm.

"I once fought alongside the Beyonder against Ares. At that time, he was inciting a war between two nations, and the Beyonder killed him."

"Ares was killed by the Beyonder?"

The group was shocked and speechless. The ancient and legendary gods were killed by the Beyonder?

However, considering the man before them, who is so powerful it nothing seems outrageous.

"You never told me about this."

Clark is surprised, patting David on the shoulder, feeling a bit relieved.

When he heard this, he thought David went to kill Ares upon hearing that he was inciting a war between the two nations.

Could his younger brother also be doing similar things when he's not around, just not talking about it? Tsundere?!

"Is it really the end of the world now?

I highly suspect you guys are talking bullshit."

A tall man in fish-scale armor, with disheveled hair and a large beard, exuding a powerful aura as if containing the strength to resist the entire sea. He was Arthur, the one Batman brought. He poured a drink into his mouth and said with a carefree and unrestrained demeanor.

David glanced at him.

The son of the Queen of Atlantis, the future member of the Justice League, Aquaman.

However, with his interference, it remains uncertain whether his future superhero title will still be Aquaman.

Arthur also secretly glanced at David.

His mentor, Vulko, has been frequenting him lately, claiming that this was the best opportunity for him to ascend to the throne. An outsider killed Orm and took over the throne of Atlantis.

But he had little interest in the throne of Atlantis, especially after hearing Vulko's description and discovering that the one occupying the throne was the Beyonder.

"We are about to face powerful enemies from the universe.

Before we go into battle, it's necessary to understand the abilities of our teammates we'll be fighting alongside," Batman says in a solemn tone.

He didn't expect that a simple introduction by the Beyonder's companion would reveal the shocking fact of the existence of gods.

"The Flash and I ran through cities worldwide in half an hour, eliminating all the parademons outside," Clark says, looking at the Flash, with a slight hint of surprise in his eyes.

This man's speed surpasses his own.

"I ran, and you flew."

The Flash shrugs, a bit resigned and envious in his tone.

During the process of eliminating parademons, he had to navigate hills and mountains, but looking up, he'd see a blue-red figure easily flying over.

"More than 80% of the parademons were eliminated by you. Even without me, you could handle it alone."

The parademons were mostly in the sky, not as easily reachable for him.

"Eliminating those monsters early on saved more lives."

Clark replied.

"We've done what we can.

Now, we just need to find out where those people are hiding."

While Clark and the Flash were busy eliminating parademons worldwide, David was responsible for Smallville and several surrounding cities around Metropolis. His gravitational field swept over the city, easily eradicating the parademons.

He looked toward Cyborg, who was searching for signals with closed eyes.

"The leaders and parademon army, covering the sky, cannot hide near areas populated by humans. Search areas where humans cannot venture, such as the Sahara Desert or places with nuclear leaks.

Your body's technology is of the same origin as the Mother Box. When they activate the Mother Box, the energy in the area will surge. You possess the same unique energy, making it easy to detect."

He knows where Kalibak and the others are likely to be, but he can't directly reveal it; he can only guide them.

Initially anxious to find Kalibak and the others, unable to locate them no matter how he tossed around the holographic projection of the Earth, Cyborg's eyes light up upon hearing this. He closes his eyes and focuses on searching human-inaccessible areas.

After a thorough check, in just a few seconds, he opened his eyes, excitement in his voice.

"Found them, in Chernobyl!"

"They sure know how to pick a place," Batman raises an eyebrow.

Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, the site of the worst nuclear disaster in human history, and the nearby cities abandoned due to it have become a well-known forbidden zone where humans cannot set foot.

"My metabolism far exceeds that of an ordinary person, with something close to rapid healing abilities.

I'm not sure if I can withstand the residual nuclear radiation there," the Flash grimaces. Besides his super speed, his physical attributes are similar to those of an ordinary human.

Hal Jordan didn't care.

He's protected by the Green Lantern ring, making him immune whether in space, deep in the sea, or even in molten lava. It was just a mere nuclear radiation

"Why are you still frowning?" Hal Jordan looks at Batman, rubbing his chin in confusion.

"By the way, what are your superpowers?"

Thinking back to Batman's earlier performance:

"No super strength, no super speed, and you don't fly. Wait a minute, are you just an ordinary person wearing a bat costume?"

His eyes widen in disbelief, wearing an expression as if he's seen a ghost.

A person without any superpowers dares to engage in such a dangerous activity as being a vigilante. He was even seen flying around the city in that mech suit, saving the world alongside the Beyonder.

"It looks like I need to pilot the Fenrir Armor," Batman muses.

"What else?"

Seeing Batman actually agreeing, Hal Jordan quickly puts away his surprised expression, trying not to show too much shock and appearing calm.

"Wearing your barely bulletproof suit to face the laser cannons of alien bio-weapons?"

"Everyone, get ready. We're leaving," Clark's eyes flicker with fierce determination. "Wipe out every last one of the alien enemies invading our world!"

During his and the Flash's efforts to clear the parademons around the world, he witnessed the harm inflicted by them on people around the globe.

Except for Diana, who followed David, everyone instinctively had no problems with him taking the lead.

Among the assembled group, the Beyonder is the most powerful superhero, but everyone can see that he seems disinterested in leading this temporarily gathered team; he's here only to save the world.

...

As the sun sets, thick, leaden clouds cover the sky, and not even a hint of moonlight penetrates through.

The area around Chernobyl, silent as a ghost town for hundreds of miles, was enveloped in a massive cocoon-like protective shield, emitting an orange glow, lighting up the sky like a twilight heralding the impending apocalypse.

Within the protective shield, a densely packed army of parademons hovers in the sky, numbering over tens of millions. Parademons resembling insects continually fly out as if nesting from a huge Boom Tube with a diameter of hundreds of meters.

"Somebody is coming."

The New God Mantis, leaning against the side with closed eyes, opened them suddenly and looked toward the sky outside the protective shield.

"I sense several powerful forces."

"Is that so?"

Another battle was about to unfold. Kalibak's beastly face revealed an excited yet cruel smile. He lifted a metal rod, as thick as an adult thigh, emitting transparent energy ripples and a dreadful aura.

This was his weapon, the Beta Club, it seemingly looked like something known as a stick by primitive people but it contained incredible technology. It was indestructible and could shoot out powerful neurostimulating laser beams, causing excruciating pain to the enemy.

"Let's go deal with them!"

Golden lightning burst out from Steppenwolf's silver battle axe. He couldn't wait to conquer the world and earn forgiveness from the Dark God.

Hum!

Two attacks, one purple and one red, effortlessly cut through the massive shield made of fleshy membranes.

Several figures appear in the sky.

"Deal with them!"

David stood at the forefront, Clark by his side, and Green Lantern glowing with green light. Batman, piloting his mech suit, and Wonder Woman, swinging in on a lasso made of truth with the help of clouds, all fiercely fly towards the tower reshaped by the Mother Box by transforming the terrain.

"It's good every one of you can fly."

Through the torn shield seams, blue electric light danced on the ground, turning over a hundred parademons into flying ashes, and Barry Allen, with his body wrapped in electric light, appeared.

On the other side, Arthur swung his trident, landing from a high-rise building and trampling a bunch of parademons into flying ash, shaking ti off his long hair.

"Hope your attacks match your words.

I can't handle so many parademons; this isn't my home court."

Humming!

David radiates purple cosmic energy, like a humanoid celestial body, emitting tremendous repulsive force.

Wherever he went, parademons approaching like tidal waves were shattered and turned to ashes. The group followed him, advancing towards the towering structure reshaped by the Mother Box.

"Descendants of the Old Gods, Kryptonians, Green Lanterns, and a powerful unknown race... This small planet seems to have gathered some formidable forces."

The three figures from Apokolips, exuding a fierce aura, emerge from the balcony of the tower. Mantis, with arms crossed, scanned the group, and sneered.

"You look like the leader. The natives of this planet call you the Beyonder?"

Having previously gathered information about this primitive world through the Mother Box, Kalibak grinned menacingly.

Brandishing the Beta Club, he stomped the ground, launching his massive body like a cannonball with an incomparably ferocious aura, heading straight for David at the forefront.

"I wonder how many blows your head can take from me!"
