Chapter 6

I threw a punch, leaning to the side throwing a kick aswell. Delphyne sat on the balcony smiling as she watched me train. I'd spin around and throw a kick, as it would transition into a sweep. I then jumped and threw another kick. "You seem to love kicks." She said, leaning on her shoulder. I smiled, standing up straight. "Yeah you can say that." Electricity sparked around me, as I began to lift myself into the air. I began to throw aerial attacks. I fell to the ground then slammed my fist against the ground, lifting blocks of concrete. "You might want to be careful Hooder." I stood up, letting out a breath.

"You're right... Sorry..." I said, rubbing the back of my head. She jumped down and walked towards me. "You know, I wonder something." I looked at her. "You have my abilities, which means you should also be a dragon hybrid." I blinked at her, looking at my hand. "Wow, really..?" She nodded, grabbing my hand. "I know that for a fact because you used my fire breathing. Thats exclusive to dragons or dragon hybrids." I looked at her, "Man that would be cool." She began to hug my arm. "We should try and awaken that if we can." She said, leading me away. "Do you have, like a training room?" I nodded, "Yeah let me show you." I said, taking over leading her to the training room.

Once we arrived, surprisingly no one was here. "Well, looks like we have the place to ourselves." I said leading her to the middle of the room. She walked in front of me. "Alright, I'm rusty and can't go full hybrid form. But I can show you how to turn parts of your body into dragons parts. Like your hand." She rose her hand, as red aura coated it. It then shattered, revealing a red scaly dragons claw. I stared at it... "Okay but.. that doesn't really tell me how." She blinked, chuckling a bit, "Heh, yeah sorry... I can't really explain it. You just have to try." I held up my hand.

Okay, lets see... I closed my eyes and began to focus... Come on... I could feel my veins popping out of my head... "Hooder don't stress yourself! You look like your head's going to explode!" I opened my eyes, breathing heavily. "And then you weren't breathing... Hooder, trying to kill yourself isn't going to awaken that dragon in you." I looked at my hand, as there was a white and blue scale on my pointer finger. My eyes widened, smiling, "Wow! Look it kinda worked!!" She looked at it, blinking. "Oh wow.. I still don't recommend it." She stood up, putting a hand on her hip. I sighed, the scale fading away. Delphyne laughed a bit... "Blue eyes white dragon..."

"What?"

"Nothing.. Lets continue." She said as her hands turned to claws.

The Phoenix threw a punch at the air, smirking with a cocky expression. Then swiped his arm to the left, a wave of flames flying throughout the air. He then threw a kick, spun around and threw another kick. He let out a breath as flames coated his fists. He then threw punches at a fast rate. He then stopped, and laughed, "It's time..."

It was lunch time so me and Delphyne took a breath from training to eat. We were on the roof this time. I took a bite of my ham sandwich, looking up at the air. "Man I needed this... I was so tired.." Delphyne glanced over at me. "If you needed a break you could've told me. We could taken a quick one instead having to wait until now." She said scooting closer to me. "Yeah, but I felt like if I stopped I wouldn't want to continue. Now this an exception." I said sipping on my water. She smiled looking down. "That's fine."

She then leaned on my shoulder. "Um, Hooder. Can I ask you a question...?" I looked down towards her. "Yeah, what's up?" She began to tap her fingers together. "This weekend, Do you think we can do something fun together?" I looked down, "Yeah why not. I don't have anything to do."

She smiled. "That's if you live to see that day... Delphyne." She rose a eyebrow, leaning off of me with a shocked and angry expression. "What?!"

I looked at her with surprise aswell, "I didn't say that!!" A shadow then covered us. We looked up. A guy with fire wings floated above us. He was dressed nicely, with a black and white suit. I looked over at Delphyne, her eyes were wide.. Does she know him or something? Hm, maybe they knew each other before she was sealed?

She opened her mouth and whispered, "P-Ph... Phoenix..." The man smirked slowly landing on the ground in front of us. "Delphyne..."
