130 Diana vs Gwen: A little confrontation over women's pride

As Allen carried out his confrontation with Superman and subsequent battle against bureaucracy, Diana arrived at Shadowcrest.

Moreover, even in the present day, Diana, being a superheroine, wouldn't look good killing every villain she encountered. As a result, Diana could count on her fingers the opponents she had killed. However, a good point of this subsystem was that depending on the strength of the opponent, the strength she gained would be much more.

An example is Steppenwolf, his death increased her base strength by ten percent. Perhaps it doesn't seem like much, but we're talking about Wonder Woman! In her base version, she can fight against Superman and Darkseid for quite some time, although she may be slightly weaker and end up losing in the end.

Still, Allen was thinking of modifying Diana's subsystem and even those of the other girls because they were inconvenient to use.

Gwen and Mary Jane's subsystem required them to complete randomly generated missions around them, solving existing problems. For example, "arrest the thief" - reward: one stamina point.

Natasha was so happy with the Strongest Mother Subsystem that she started earning points with Allen.

Gwen and MJ couldn't believe how much better Natasha's subsystem was compared to theirs, she practically became stronger by spoiling Allen.

Full of jealousy, both girls asked Allen for one like hers. Allen agreed to do it when he had spare fragments.

At this point, it seems that the subsystems are incredible and even superior to the main system in some aspects, but don't be mistaken, they have many limitations.

The first is the limit of the power they can obtain from a subsystem. Allen's system has infinite growth and evolution, depending on how many destiny fragments he obtains. However since subsystems depend on another system, they cannot grow limitlessly. This can be solved with updates given by Allen's system that increase the limit of the subsystems, but Allen's system must become more powerful first. Another limitation of subsystems is that they lack many capabilities, they are designed with a specific purpose and cannot deviate from their initial programming.

Finally, the rewards from subsystems are very limited because, in the end, they obtain those rewards from the main system, which also has its limitations. So nothing greater than a blue grade will appear in a subsystem's reward or shop.

Diana crossed the door and saw two beautiful girls lying on the grass beside her, with a group of fairies flying over them curiously.

Diana shook her head and then smiled. "I would like to see the look on their faces when they find out Allen has a harem."

Diana wasn't the same naive girl from centuries ago, she knew perfectly well the sentimental problems these two girls were going through.

Barbara and Kara slept peacefully, without worries. Diana thought that at least her husband had good taste in women, both of them were very beautiful girls. But they would have to overcome several barriers if they wanted to be with Allen.

On one hand, there was common sense, no matter how they tried to justify it, Allen was a villain, and that was a huge barrier preventing them from accepting any feelings for him.

Moreover, Allen hasn't been particularly serious when dealing with them. Kara decided not to dwell on it and accepted Allen as her nemesis. On the other hand, Barbara accepts her feelings but refuses to be with a villain, so she plans to reform Allen.

Diana loves Allen, but sometimes she wishes she could tie him to her bed to stop him from seducing women wherever he goes.

"He was already a monster to women even when he wasn't trying," Diana sighed and looked at the two girls. She knows how gradually her Amazon sisters started to obsess over Allen, and the worst part was that Allen didn't even try to seduce them.

Diana turned to her right only to see Natasha approaching with a smile. Diana's face lit up, it was a strange feeling to meet someone you'd never seen but had talked to so much.

Diana returned the smile and extended her hand. "Nice to meet you, Natasha."

Natasha smirked teasingly. "What's with the coldness, girl? Didn't you call me fat ass in the photo I sent you?"

"Uh... I..."

Diana was embarrassed, as is common in a friendship, over time, you gain more confidence. In one of the messages, Natasha showed modern fashion to Diana, but she commented on Natasha's backside.

Diana didn't know what to reply. Natasha was technically her mother-in-law? Step-aunt? Sister-in-law? It was very confusing, but one thing was for sure, Natasha had a special status among her man's women because she wasn't just Allen's partner, she was also the woman who raised him.

"I'm sorry..."

Natasha smiled even more and patted her shoulder. "I'm just kidding, skinny legs."

"What!" Diana was taken by surprise but immediately laughed, and the tension disappeared.

Natasha led Diana to a place where there was a small table and some desserts, of course, they wouldn't abuse Zatanna's trust like Allen. They also have an inventory and access to a huge number of cards that Allen doesn't need.

Diana sat down with Natasha, and they talked for a while. The Amazon princess felt more relaxed and began to treat Natasha as one of her sisters, although she held her in respect similar to her aunt Antiope.

After a while, Mary Jane and Gwen returned with some tea for everyone.

There was a moment of tension between Gwen and Diana.

"Are you okay with that, Diana?" Gwen sighed. "You're a princess and an incredible woman, you could find someone just for you."

"No, I don't need any other man," Diana blinked and then smiled slightly. "I'm from an ancient era, and I don't oppose such a relationship. But what about you, Gwen? You're from a modern world, are you willing to accept sharing your man?" Diana smiled. "I'm sure a beautiful woman like you hasn't lacked suitors."

Natasha coughed, and Mary Jane held her breath, the fairies ran away scared without knowing why.

"I accepted the women who fell for my Allen before you appeared. Does that answer your question?" Gwen replied.

"Yes, it's a relief that it's like that. I wouldn't want to be at odds with my HUSBAND's women," Diana emphasized.

Natasha widened her eyes feeling things were getting dangerous. MJ stepped back two steps, not wanting to get involved, but Natasha grabbed her arm and looked at her accusingly. "Don't run away; you're the first to start this harem madness; now, face the consequences!"

Mary Jane had a drop of sweat and a complicated look. "But I don't want to get between those two... You do it."

"Don't impose your responsibility on me, you hot-headed girl!" Natasha discreetly washed her hands, not wanting to be the one to stop Diana and Gwen.

Mary Jane pouted. "You're supposed to be Allen's stepmother, use your authority, or they won't respect you in the future!"

While Natasha and Mary Jane argued quietly, Diana and Gwen stared at each other.

The tension increased, but just when it seemed they were about to start a fight, Gwen sighed. "What's the point of arguing? Look over there, two more who will surely be our sisters in the future," Gwen complained with puffed cheeks.

Diana sighed too, relaxing. "Rest assured, at least I know three women who are one step away from that."

"That bastard seduced his aunt..."

"That pervert seduced my mother."

Diana and Gwen looked at each other and then laughed, the tension eased, and they proceeded to have a good time.

After that, Diana offered to mentor her in being a superheroine, so they went on to have a little sparring match, seeing how Diana was sweeping the floor with Gwen MJ offered to help her and finally Natasha got involved.
