New Day, Same Activities
(3rd POV)
At an apartment in deshora city
An alarm sounded very loudly. The alarm went on for a long time until a guy tried to turn it off
A guy walks toward the alarm to turn it off.
The clock showed 07.00 am. 1 hour before that person starts studying at the university.
His name is Reinya Kadoya. he comes from a wealthy family in a rural area. Now he is pursuing medical education to achieve his dreams.
It's just that Reinya is someone who really prioritizes sleep. a stark contrast to his future profession which was notoriously sleep-deprived.
He even made a rule in his life where he was obliged to take a nap every day.
He often fell asleep during class. but strangely, he is one of the smartest in the class.
Today Reinya will attend lectures on anatomy, physiology and histology of the heart which will last from morning to afternoon.
The lecture will be very boring, but this is very beneficial for Reinya because he can sleep peacefully during the lecture.
(Reinya POV)
I woke up from my bed due to the sound of my clock alarm. I really hate waking up. If possible, I want to sleep all the time. but reality is not as beautiful as expectations. I have to attend a lecture today which is very boring.
I got out of bed and got ready to go to campus.
On my way to campus, I took the time to open a game that I had been playing for 7 years.
World of Creation is a closed beta mmorpg game where we become adventurers whose aim is to explore the world.
Initially, World of Creation was a common MMORPG game where players were expected to explore a continent called Aensraf. The gameplay presented is like mmorpg games in general where there are many quests and dungeons presented where at the end of the quest there is a final boss.
It took 2 years for players to finish the game. At first I thought this game was over.
However, there is an update to this game where there are 4 new continents of the same size that can be explored.
This version of the game also adds a feature to build your own kingdom which requires a lot of resources so that no one has ever created a kingdom until the 6th year. In the 6th year, my guild friends and I succeeded in creating a kingdom after our guild succeeded in conquering a small kingdom on the aensraf continent.
and after one year, to be precise tomorrow at 12 pm the game will experience an update and will enter the public phase where everyone can play the game.
I was very happy and also sad when I heard the announcement.
My character, which I had developed for 10 years, had to be reset. However, the developer said it would provide adequate compensation for the deletion of characters in the next version. I'm really looking forward to what items will be given later.
Without me realizing it, I had arrived at class and immediately the lecturer started explaining about the heart.
in the middle of the lecture, I started to feel sleepy and started to fall asleep. My seat at the back made it easier for me not to be noticed by the lecturer.
(3rd POV)
"Can anyone explain the graph of an Electrocardiogram?"
The lecturer asked the student there
suddenly, a beautiful woman with very unique silver hair raised her hand.
for a moment, all eyes were on her. Her beautifully carved face makes everyone who looks at her fall in love at first sight.
"Viona Rutherford, please"
Viona explained EKG very elegantly. everyone who listened to him seemed hypnotized to continue listening to his beautiful voice.
"Hey Rein, Viona is explaining."
Azaka Vermilion, my close childhood friend, woke me up
Rein didn't pay attention to his words.
"Hey Rein, your crush is talking, don't you want to look at her?"
Rein doesn't care. For Reinya, his interest to Viona didn't make him want to open his eyes. Taking a nap was more important than anything.
"Okay, very good explanation Viona, thank you"
The time had passed and the sky had started to change color.
"Maybe that's enough lectures for today, thank you"
The lecturer closed the lecture and the students left the class
Azaka finally woke me up
"Hey Rein, are you ready to lose your character tomorrow?" Azaka mocks Rein
"Shut up, your character will also be lost. And we just have to start over again from the beginning and we will get compensation. That's enough for me."
"You're so stoic rein" Azaka put an annoyed face
"Wanna go to the dungeon together tonight?" Azaka asked.
"I can't, there's so much work I haven't done yet."
"Okay, just let me know if you change your mind, see you later my king, oh I mean the future former king hahahha" Akaza laughed as he left the classroom.
(Reinya POV)
I started putting my things into the bag
"Rein..."
someone called me and I directed my gaze to the voice
I saw Viona coming towards me
"Hmm, Rein, are you busy tonight, do you want to study with me for tomorrow's exam?"
Viona looked down while saying this.
Actually, I feel that Viona also likes me. This was proven by his very shy behavior in front of me. different from his confident nature when dealing with other people.
the signs it gave were enough to make it mine. but it would be too tiring if I had to date her.
especially if it turns out my guess was wrong. I'm going to die from feeling so embarrassed
"I'm sorry, but I have to do homework tonight. Let's do it another time, okay?"
Rejecting an invitation from your crush is a very painful thing.
Viona's face looked gloomy after hearing my words.
"Then how about we do your assignment together and then we study together?"
Viona put on a face full of hope
I can't possibly reject a woman twice, especially since the woman is my crush.
"Okay, tonight we will study together."
Her face brightened again. My liking for this woman increased exponentially.
"Then tonight at 8 o'clock at the usual place, see you tonight Rein"
Finally Viona left the room.
I'm more convinced that Viona likes me too
On the way home I took the time to play WOC and clean myself after arriving at my apartment.
I also tried to lie down and tried to sleep in the afternoon until 6 o'clock. Not long after lying down, I started to become unconscious and fell asleep soundly
