Ok first of this is actually a good story for Er Gen's verse, Lighthearted, emotional, also annoying disgusting parrot, MC not as quiet as my dear Wang Lin overall its Ok. But RI is better

One of the best novels I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading. Well translated. The story is interesting and what I liked best about it was how plot points were carried out throughout the entire story and how they tied to the background of the world this takes place in.

one of the best Novels in the whole Xianxia genre,the Plot Development is top notch absolutely well done, the Characters are amazing,and most of all the World Building is mind blowing as well I've personally read this novel 4 times overall I recommend every person to read it the story is Heart-stirring where it counts and hilariously comedic where it needs to be hats off to the author!!

Have faith in Lord Fifth! Poor Meng Hao... He is always poor and never has enough money to support his cultivation. Makes me shed a tear. One promissory note is all he needs to become temporarily rich, donate today.

this is the most amazing book ive ever read, good character development and good world history, such emotional fells and comedy as well, i recomend to everyone that has an interest in reading any type of history, it covers everything, from drama to action, simply amazing

What a magnificent story, just amazing, from the beginning trough the end, worth a lot to read. I'm glad i chose ISSTH, great writer Er Gen, great translator Deathblade. This story marked me profoundly. Proceeding to the next Er Gen's novels.

This was one of my first novels, and I'm happy it was. This novel deserves it's reputation. It was one of the better cultivation novels. The main character was not thinking with their d*ck. I've no words for this, currently. I hope I can edit.

Simply a masterpiece, when I made the mistake starting reading novels with douluo dalu I thought there wouldn't be something as good, only to be proven wrong twice. Once by Er Gen and a second time by I eat tomatoes. I shall seal the Heavens is a captivating story of a jolly protagonist whom travels the cruel cultivation world, slowly revealing his past, while at the same point moving forward to an unpredictable future. I won't advise reading the novel, as most have probably already read it. As for those that haven't you don't know what you lose.

One of , if not the best novel I've read till this moment. Got me into the whole translated novel community. Absolutely amazing and I'd recommend to anyone looking for a novel with action, adventure and a shameless main character.

This is the first novel i read that was complete, and i do not regret going to the end. Even though i'm not a big fan of the fighting scene, the novel was very interesting, and makes you want to read more. Moreover, the character development is one of the best i've seen, with the MC groing up a lot during the story, and the world background is very good, with lots of side story and interaction between secondary character we don't read about, but still impact the story.

I read it in one go. What a journey it was!! Lot of emotions mixed in the story . Very well developed world with interesting characters. Story telling is good. DB is great. He makes it easier for us to understand Chinese culture and keeps the meaning relevant. It is not a perfect novel but it works for me. Er Gen has done a good job and kept the ending bitter sweet.

Absolutely majestic voyage into the world of Xianxia. Best Comedy mixed with such a progressive and consequential plot. Every event is connected in such a beautiful way. The MC is very righteous and would always try to do the right thing, he won't get into annoying Harems. The Fights are not as good as other authors, and sometimes will be just uninteresting, but it's incredibly compensated by the character progression. This story feels like a whole life, you become attached to the characters and can feel what they feel, you can feel fatherly love, and the author sometimes have crazy Daoist moments of enlightement when he will actually reference Daoist knowledge of real life, Truly outstanding, THE WORLD NEEDS THIS STORY, people deserve to know more about it, and if you have not read it, DO IT, don't let your dreams be dreams.

I finished this series last 2 years ago. It was long and became repetitive at some point. However, the character development and the loyalty of mc to his lover were what kept me going. It was a funny read too due to how shameless the mc is. Thankfully this is not the harem type, even though there are a lot of girls but meng hao stays true to his one lover~ I would like to thank the translator for his hard work completing this novel~ thanks to your effort, a lot of people able to read this fun story!

A well-rounded web novel. Funny main character. Side characters aren’t just suddenly forgotten. Depth. Philosophical. Probably my favorite novel of the genre.
