7 Interlude *updated*

[Unknown POV]

[Welcome to the Lowland realm]

[Your species has been chosen to fight for sovereignty of all realms. Fight and Conquer in this Grand game of Crowns!]

{Realm Announcement: All crowns have been given tier 9 level 9 housing, a special summoning token, and a 3 day novice protection note: a minority of crowns will awaken a talent}

Darkness… it was all I could see, the world around me, a void of nothingness.

It was why it was so significant that I could see those messages. The first bit of color and images that I could see.

I understood the words, it was weird. Yes I could speak but to be able to read when I could never see. It was weird and something that I had taken note of.

Born blind, it was my fate to stay just that. Blind to the world to the beauty and ugliness of the world. Nothing could pierce through my blindness.

No treatment could cure it. No matter the amount of money that was thrown at it.

It was why I stumbled over my feet, the balance that I had so carefully cultivated over the years of blindness forgotten by the sudden onset of color that those messages gave me.

It was absolutely brilliant, beautiful, no words could express how grateful I was to be able to see anything.

I had long forgotten that hope. One to be normal, to see anything.

And it had been granted, even if it came at the apparent dangers of this transmigration.

{You have awoken your talent, please open your status to confirm}

Another message appeared in my vision and all of the sudden I could see.

It was a world of nothing but instinctively I knew that I could see something. It excites me, the world had changed in scale, where once it was as dark as the void it seemed to have lessened to one of just black mixed with the occasional feeling that I may be able to see something.

It was then that another screen appeared in my face, though this time I was prepared and didn't fall to the ground, instead I just read it.

[Name: Aoif]

[Territory tier: 9

[level: 1]

[Skills: None]

[Talent: Sight*]

[Sight: A tier 3 talent which allows the user to see the world in order of potential]

'That must be why I could see' I thought to myself. ' a miracle, have my prayers been answered'

'It's… it's… so beautiful…' I thought to myself. Looking at the message it was as ordinary as the others. Except for one fact.

The name Darwin… this Darwin… It was so pretty. It was like hundreds of colors mixing into a kaleidoscope of color.

Everything else I had seen paled in comparison to it. It was just so beautiful, so… so… much.

I couldn't even describe how much I wanted to just touch it. To bask in the color that it emanated.

But just as soon as I had read the message did it disappear.

I unconsciously whined, I wanted to see more of it. This stupid system didn't let me.

I just pouted as I carefully sat down on the grass of the floor. I remembered that the system had given me a special summoning token.

So with a mental command it appeared in my hand.

It was a dull gray though it was constantly shifting to other colors.

Some of them were as dull and black as the world around me while others were a bright color however they had one thing in common.

They always shifted at intervals of a couple seconds.

Instinctively I knew that in order for me to use this I would need to crush it.

But how would I do that… I don't have much strength in my arms. I was never even allowed to lift things on my own let alone crush something.

'Might as well just try'

With that thought in my mind I put pressure on the token when it was at its highest color.

A ray of light condensed in my hand before spreading out.

It was a brilliant orange. One that covered everything that I could see.

[Delta]

[tier: 3]

[level: 9]

[Delta is an Automaton at the peak of tier 3, she carries with her a white gun holstered on her side. Additionally she likes cute things and will hug them till ordered otherwise]

A white light, one that covered the space in front of me walked towards me. My eyes were wide as I gazed at it.

It was grand, the way that the light shifted around the figure and how it seemed to be speaking to me yet no words heard.

I felt strong yet soft hands reach towards my side. They lifted me by my armpits and towards them. A strong hug, one where my cheeks were being rubbed and an almost rib breaking pressure on my stomach.

"Delta"

A soft voice, one barely above a whisper reached my ears.

"Your… Delta?"

"Yes" Was the succinct answer I was given.

"I'm Aoif"

I do my best to smile back up to her but with how she had gripped me it was hard to do so.

"What-"

In a sudden burst of speed, I felt the wind whip at my hair as Delta dashed toward somewhere. It was a speed that I could barely withstand. However the wind still stung at my hair.

Though Delta seemed to notice this as a warm feeling rushed into my body, the air that had once burned me with its harsh movement now felt like nothing more than a nice breeze.

I basked in it, the time passing by in a rush. It was thirty minutes later that I was put back down though it felt more like five with how nice it was.

"Establish your territory," Delta briefly says as she put me down and made sure that I could stand without her support.

Once she had seen that I was safe and able to care for myself for a bit her tiny voice reverberated in my skull again.

"Good area, I'll go grab food"

"Ah, thank you, Delta" I responded as I brought out the token that would allow for me to establish my territory.

With those final words Delta turned her back to me and dashed off into the darkness, though I guess it would be a forest judging by all of the vegetation and trees that I had felt around me.

[Congratulations on establishing your territory]

{As your Territory is the lowest grade it spans half a mile in radius, you may construct buildings with either a blueprint or manually within your territory note that manually made buildings do not come with any bonuses}

[Crowns house]

[Tier: 9]

[Level: 1]

{can be upgraded(1 unit of wood, 1 unit of stone)}

It took barely any time for my territory to be established but even then Delta had already arrived back next to me. A stench of blood reached my nose and I recoiled back at that.

I knew that in order for Delta to get us food that she would have had to kill something but it was surreal. To be given such proof that something was dead right in front of me. Though it wasn't that disturbing given that I couldn't even see it but the stench of blood was still strong.

Ignoring the stench, I instead focus on what the system message had said. The need for wood and stone for me to be able to upgrade it.

It was a curious thing. Though I guess that magically making these things appear was already magical but for it to tell me exactly what I needed and categorize it was still a curious thing to see.

"Wood and stone. It says that I need those things to upgrade my territory."

A soft "Wait here" And Delta was gone again.

Barely a minute since she had left Delta was back again but there was something with her, something heavy.

I could hear it, hear the heave and ho that came with carrying something that heavy.

"Here." Delta simply said before her light went over to the side and guided my hand towards the resources that she had gathered for me.

With a simple smile I walk up to the territory using Delta as a guiding hand.

"Delta…"

"Yes?"

"I need a… bronze aether core. Do you know where to get that?"

"Is it this thing"

Delta asks as she hands me a round object.

[Bronze aether core]

"Yeah" I respond, "This is just what I need"

I didn't question how she had gotten it, it was obvious. The creature that she killed most likely had the core with it or the core was inside of it.

Either way I had it. I walked up to the house and once more upgraded it.
